It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.“

“I have eaten a lot of biryani but none so like this! The rice and meat were so moist and tender. The flavors were subtle yet so vivid. I LOVED that they used actual chicken (not tenders or cubed chicken) I'm not sure the placement but I'm assuming the chicken had to be the drumstick meat bc of the texture. Extremely savory! The rice was cooked well and it was very fragrant as well as tasty. I also received a very large portion as well. The other dish was delicious, I should have requested for more spice but it was good the way it came. I am used to ordering it as a paste but this resturant makes it thick which was fun to eat. I took my food to go but saw that it was nice and clean inside. I'd definitely return just to eat here again! I'm really glad I found them!“

“Honestly couldn’t be better. The food is flavorful and the portions are generous. We eat primarily vegetarian: masala dosa, palak paneer, and malai kofta. The kofta in particular is amazing— they literally melt in your mouth, like little clouds of flavor. I don’t think you could go wrong here. The naan is fluffy, the dosa dough was so thin and light but generous on the filling… I really could go on. Not to mention every server we’ve had was so sweet and eager to answer questions and help.

“The food here is really delicious and comes out fresh and hot. The service was great. We were offered water refills, asked how everything was and if there was anything else we wanted, often. As of October 2024 I would recommend keeping your party to 4 or less people or ordering to-go because the tables/booths are fairly small. The place was very clean inside. We were nearby at the Sac Children's Museum and stumbled across this place when looking through restaurant reviews and were so happy we did. If you are trying to decide where to eat in the area, stop and head over. Highly recommend due to the amazing food (we had the Potato Bolani, Lamb Kebab and Chicken Kebab), warm service, free tea while we waited and huge portions. Can't wait to go back.

I was just at Sac Yard brewing where your truck was and had the samosas and the butter chicken fries and everything was hot fresh and tasty. the food is very gourmet tasting. fresh, hot and very well prepared!!
