“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“La Plaza is a hidden gem in Walnut Creek. Big menu with lots of options, you can't go wrong with anything you pick.
My go tos are the Chile Relleno or the Nachos. the Bean and Cheese Burrito is also one of the best I've ever had.
Great to eat in or easy takeout for the whole fam. Highly recommend!“

“The food was amazing and it tasted very good. The place is small, so it probably gets busy during peak hours but luckily when we went it was empty and we made it before they ended serving breakfast. If I'm in Walnut Creek again I'll be sure to stop by.“

“I've been a few times so far. The first time I went the food was spectacular, this was for dinner. When I went for brunch it was a little lack luster for the breakfast carnitas. However, I think how it was prepared just wasn't suited for how I thought the breakfast carnitas would be served. I'll definitely be back to try other main courses.“

“There aren't enough stars to give this place. Family run and that's what you feel like when you go there. Buche, carnival, chicharones, chicken and ribs ( yes, ribs) are all outstanding. My neice comes back to CA from Austrailia and this is the place she wants to go. Even my buddy says it reminds him of how his grandparents cooked on their ranch in Jalisco. You absolutely will love this place. Do yourself a solid and get tortillas, they make them fresh every day.“

“I found my Mexican go-to. It’s a yes for me. Tried the quesa birria&steak taco. Flavorful and just right. Hit the spot! Give it a try.
I’ve never been a fan of fish tacos but I came back and tried the fish taco&I devoured it. Very good. Real guacamole. And quick service! Never disappointed.“

“Went for lunch, had 3 of the grilled shrimp tacos... Dynamite! Flavor, and the cost is reasonable for all you get. Chips salsa and hot sauce OMG thier Hot Salsa homemade was the Best! Loved it so much I went back dinner to try a Carne Asada wet burrito and 2 Pastor tacos, Once Again, Dynamite Mexican Food! It was so good the second time around ❤️🌶🌶🌶“

“I almost hate to reveal this hidden gem of Martinez because it's already a busy restaurant. But seriously, this family owned establishment has some of the best, most authentic Mexican food around, and the prices are amazing.The portions are huge and always consistently good.We normally get the enchilad meals, but tonight we had fajitas! Woah! Huuuge.Seriously, my wife and I could have ordered one and split it. See the photo of what was leftover after we each had 3 full tortillas! Under $20 each with soft drinks.So good, so worth it!Just know that there are not a lot of tables, so if you go at dinner time you might have to take it to go.“

“I have to say to the owner of this establishment was very nice so I was on a bike ride with my two year old son and my son sees the big gumball machine inside so we go inside only to realize I forgot my wallet and had no change for my son to get a gumball anywho as I sit there telling my son sorry little dude daddy forgot his wallet we gotta go my son was so bummed but the owner (whom I forgot to catch his name) quickly jumped up and reached in his pocket and pulled out a few quarters for my son to get a few gumballs my son was thrilled to say the least so thanks to you man you saved me a heart break of having to walk away without my son's gumball you got my vote as mayor haha thanks again !“

“The food here is mostly good I absolutely love their carnitas in pretty much everything; burritos, quesadillas, or even just the carnitas plate is great! Please do yourself a favor and stay away from the sopes they are very gross and definitely store bought. It was like I was eating a tire. I made sure to toss them hockey pucks away.“

“This is a perfect place for a warm night out in downtown Walnut Creek! Excellent food and great drinks! On top of that you can bring your pets to the outdoor seating. Although, we were one of the only tables eating dinner outside, they could have come to check up on us a little more. Highly recommended for those people who like to enjoy a great bar and excellent Hispanic food!“

We were so hungry but there’s one more problem. I ordered chicken enchilada for my husband and gave us cheese enchilada. We waited for the chicken enchilada and got it fast. We will still be back.
