“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“The food was amazing and it tasted very good. The place is small, so it probably gets busy during peak hours but luckily when we went it was empty and we made it before they ended serving breakfast. If I'm in Walnut Creek again I'll be sure to stop by.“

The pollo was good, nothing spectacular but good.
The salsas are very tasty.
But the carnitas!!! Those are some real Mexican carnitas!! Reminded me of the carnitas we used to eat in Jalisco.

That being said from big eaters like my family, we had a full portion of appetizer combo: enough to feed 5 people, maybe 6. We ordered the 2 way and trio fajitas, & the #16 taco, chili rellano & chimichanga. Everything was hot, fresh and filling. We leftovers of 3 boxes to go. Can’t wait to go back and try something new. I would highly recommend.“

I also got a Quesadilla to go, with watered down sour cream and guacamole from a package....No flavor, and again dry chicken and this time a super greasy tortilla. “I have to say to the owner of this establishment was very nice so I was on a bike ride with my two year old son and my son sees the big gumball machine inside so we go inside only to realize I forgot my wallet and had no change for my son to get a gumball anywho as I sit there telling my son sorry little dude daddy forgot his wallet we gotta go my son was so bummed but the owner (whom I forgot to catch his name) quickly jumped up and reached in his pocket and pulled out a few quarters for my son to get a few gumballs my son was thrilled to say the least so thanks to you man you saved me a heart break of having to walk away without my son's gumball you got my vote as mayor haha thanks again !“

Since they reopened, they are closed on Monday’s, our usual day so it’s been 3 years since we’ve been there. They still recognized us though! “I should have taken a picture, but I scarfed the burrito down so fast! I just wanted to rave about this place and their wonderful customer service. I came in and asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. I paid and then it occurred to me after to ask what kind of beans they use (I'm 7.5 months pregnant and for whatever reason, only like refried beans.... oh, pregnancy!). He said they only use whole beans. I tried to see if I could get something else for the same price I paid (which he was so nice about), but ultimately decided, "Oh well, I'll just stick with what I ordered!" I went to the bathroom and when I came out, he said, "We are making the beans refried for you now!" I thought that was so nice of them! It was so good too. Definitely recommend this place!!!“

“I love this place! It’s a small business and has great food. Maybe I love it so much because I had it in high school for a quick dinner frequently. I would get a BCR (bean cheese and rice burrito) because it was affordable. Now I’m adulthood, I crave a BCR from here. I love BCR and horchata from here.“
