“A cute little restaurant with a lot of soul and delicious food!! The woman who served us was really nice, the place is very clean, the menu has a variety of options and there is a really good vibe.

My husband ordered the basil fried rice with a moderate level of spiciness. He loved it, although it was still a little too spicy for him. Next time he will ask for less spicy. I ordered Kao Moo Dang and it was delicious! It is sweetly spiced and there is also a sweet and slightly spicy sauce that comes on the side. To finish, we ordered an egg tart. I could eat it every day!

Overall, we both enjoyed it very much and there are many more options that I want to try. We will definitely be back!“

“Stumbled upon this place randomly and the food didn’t disappoint. It wasn’t busy at all on Friday evening so we were able to easily walk in. Great Thai food with plenty of options as a vegetarian. The green curry was one of the best I had and they made it spicy yet super flavorful. Tom yum soup was great too. The service was very fast and friendly.“

“This palce is a certain of community and history on Bernal Heights. Old friends come in to greetings of hugs and kisses from the staff. New patrons are welcomed in almost equal fashion! “Nothing flashy, just delicious Thai food with good vibe. We really like the pork shoulder (pork jowl). It’s smokey and the sauce is flavorful. Congee is hot and filling. The skillset dish reminds me of a Vietnamese dish that I ate all the time.

We also like that the food is decently priced, and the staff is really friendly. Not sure if our waiter is the owner, but he smiles all the time, very friendly, and even helps us store our cake in their fridge so it will not melt when we enjoy their delicious food. I will come back for sure!“

It's different enough from what you'd get at a restaurant, and very delicious! We're longtime fans of their pad see ew, pad Thai and (in particular) their khao soi, which they unfortunately run out of sometimes so come early! The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate pure veg food requests as well.“

“Had such a great time at Regent Thai in San Francisco with a group of girlfriends. It was one of those meals where everything just clicked.

It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. “They share a storefront with Rooster&Rice. The Rainbow Beef with Garlic Noodles was 10/10. (Only got a photo after devouring most of it.) Seasoned well and beef was very tender. From years of developing a strong palate for local Asian cuisine, Ocean Thai has delivered beyond my demanding expectations. I ordered the Thom Ka soup, Prawns Chao Lay, Larb Salad, and the Miang Kham spinach wraps. All of these were delightfully fresh and delicious. “Zabb is a local Thai restaurant in the Excelsior district. It is ran by the sweetest women. My order was a tom ka gai (chicken coconut) soup $15. Complex flavors and it was delicious. You can order it with different levels of spiciness. Good job Zabb Thai. My soup was ready in about five minute.“

“Great neighborhood gem, family run spot serving Thai and Laotian dishes that had some unique dishes not commonly seen at a typical Thai spot. The black metal doors were a bit discrete, but it's quite spacious inside. we were a party of 3 for lunch and there was no wait. We ordered 4 dishes and the food came out at a good pace.

Would recommend: Green curry - great flavor, mild but creamy. The Champa Sampler with their Laotian sausages and fried spring rolls (skinny, cut into chunks) and some crunchy fried onion (?) or nuts on a bed of white rice. I preferred dipping their rice noodles on the side better than the rice.
Their fried appetizers were hot and crunchy - like their fresh fried rice balls. They have good flavored soup that warms the soul!

Pork belly stir fry with Chinese Broccoli was a pass - the meat was sliced not cubed and fried too hard to chew through. The greens were a bit too greasy from the meat.
Larp (Laotian salad) was a bit too watery and salty! The fish sauce fully soaked the leafy greens.

We will come back and try Padem derm (yellow curry) and Khao piak (noodle soup dish).“

“I've been here a couple times, and enjoyed both meals here. The papaya salad, pad Thai, and pad Kee mao have been consistently delicious. The larb was also good, but sooo spicy we almost died (I'd still get it again though).

It looks like the negative reviews have been primarily for delivery, but I'll go ahead and say that the dine-in experience has been quite good. The portions are pretty big as well.“
