“Highly recommend if you haven’t been lately to give Pacifica Thai another shot. They seem to have some revamped dishes in their kitchen/chef and oh so much flavor goodness. We dined in as a group of 6 celebrating a birthday and we tried many dishes. As a pescatarian/veggie lover I enjoyed their cucumber salad, pad Thai, eggplant / pad makeur, Penang curry salmon, and mango sticky rice for dessert. Will bring my family next time and start them into our takeout rotation! Highly recommend!“

“I'm speechless. How can the line be so long? And how can the food be so good? We got in the line (to join the waitlist) right before they opened (4PM) on Saturday, and got seated around 6. It has a nice homey vibe; the food has strong and sophisticated flavors made with high-quality ingredients. Best Thai food I've ever had in North America!“

It's different enough from what you'd get at a restaurant, and very delicious! We're longtime fans of their pad see ew, pad Thai and (in particular) their khao soi, which they unfortunately run out of sometimes so come early! The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate pure veg food requests as well.“

“They share a storefront with Rooster&Rice. The Rainbow Beef with Garlic Noodles was 10/10. (Only got a photo after devouring most of it.) Seasoned well and beef was very tender. Mango sticky rice was also delicious. Staff was super friendly and it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Give them a taste!“

We recently ordered the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, and both arrived piping hot and incredibly fresh. The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of flavor — not overly sweet, great texture, and generous portions. The Pad See Ew was smoky, savory, and full of flavor with perfectly cooked noodles.

“This is the best Thai restaurant that San Francisco has to offer and it is truly one of a kind: prices are exceptionally reasonable, the layout is clean and Zen, and the parking is abundant. From years of developing a strong palate for local Asian cuisine, Ocean Thai has delivered beyond my demanding expectations. I ordered the Thom Ka soup, Prawns Chao Lay, Larb Salad, and the Miang Kham spinach wraps. All of these were delightfully fresh and delicious. “Great neighborhood gem, family run spot serving Thai and Laotian dishes that had some unique dishes not commonly seen at a typical Thai spot. The black metal doors were a bit discrete, but it's quite spacious inside. we were a party of 3 for lunch and there was no wait. We ordered 4 dishes and the food came out at a good pace.

Would recommend: Green curry - great flavor, mild but creamy. The Champa Sampler with their Laotian sausages and fried spring rolls (skinny, cut into chunks) and some crunchy fried onion (?) or nuts on a bed of white rice. I preferred dipping their rice noodles on the side better than the rice.
Their fried appetizers were hot and crunchy - like their fresh fried rice balls. They have good flavored soup that warms the soul!

Pork belly stir fry with Chinese Broccoli was a pass - the meat was sliced not cubed and fried too hard to chew through. The greens were a bit too greasy from the meat.
Larp (Laotian salad) was a bit too watery and salty! The fish sauce fully soaked the leafy greens.

We will come back and try Padem derm (yellow curry) and Khao piak (noodle soup dish).“

“Zabb is a local Thai restaurant in the Excelsior district. It is ran by the sweetest women. My order was a tom ka gai (chicken coconut) soup $15. Complex flavors and it was delicious. You can order it with different levels of spiciness. Good job Zabb Thai. My soup was ready in about five minute.“
