“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Mon Amour Cafe on our interview date. Do you have an affinity for crepes? Do you like getting a bang for your buck? Well, Westwood’s Mon Amour Cafe offers both and boy will you not be disappointed. Nestled in the heavily populated neighborhood close to UCLA, this build your own crepe shop offers a variety of recipes to fit your mood. Whether you’re looking for something savory, or want to give into your sweet tooth like I was (in which I opted for the Nutella, strawberry, banana and ice cream infused Broxton), vistors of all ages and backgrounds will be able to find something to enjoy. But that’s not the best part! Mon Amour is open late Friday-Sunday, so you have plenty of opportunity to nab yourself a treat after a show at the Regency Village Theater or Geffen Playhouse Theater, a sporting event at the college, or let’s be honest, after a long night of partying.“

“First and most important, batch-brew drip is good. No pour over because kettle is broken. No reusable cups for hot coffee (picture of miir cup on the wall, but no options to purchase one). Baristas clearly enjoy their job and having a good time. A little cramped and could use an interior decorator.
Again though, good beans, and that's better than everywhere else around here I've tried.“

“Solid coffee, great pastries, but 2 of 2 orders/days/visits has been messed up. Yesterday I asked for a long black instead of americano and explained/asked if it could be done (and told yes), but ultimately got an Americano delivered. Today I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and got back to the hotel to find the chorizo one instead.“

“Great coffee and even better vibes! With multiple locations across Palm Springs, this is the perfect reliable spot for a quick grab-and-go.
Their veggie quiche is a fantastic breakfast choice, and the banana bread is a must-try. Whether you're fueling up for the day or just need a caffeine fix, you can't go wrong here.“
“I just discovered this super cute coffee shop in Palm Springs. It’s at a motto between North Palm Canyon and Indian Canyon. Small tables and chairs out front. Incredibly friendly staff! Perfect vibe and definitely not a big coffee chain. My latte with no foam is excellent. Can’t wait to come back.“
“My favorite coffee spot in the valley, highly recommend the banana foster latte“

“Good decaf and pastries, had decaf cappuccinos, croissants, and chicken wrap. Friendly staff and quick service, will make it the way you like it. Outdoor seating with umbrellas and view of mountains. Price is on the high side but no more than Starbucks. Might make it a regular stop when returning home on the I-10 before driving back into the LA basin.“

“I herd about the coffee on KFI, I called to get some and talked to Cliff and he told me where I could find it in the desert. We had such a nice conversation on the phone that I want to meet him in person. His coffee is so good, as a life long drinker of store bought coffee, Cliff explained to me abut the importance of fresh roasted beans and the flavor they provide and now having some of his sunrise roast I can taste it and the difference that I was missing. Thanks for waking up my tastebuds. I’m now also a believer in Coachella Valley Coffee all because Cliff answered his phone himself on a Saturday morning. I highly recommend you try his coffee, you won’t be disappointed, you may be a new covert like me.“
“Stopped by for a cup of coffee around 5:45am. Plenty of parking spaces, the store within Ralph's market. Fantastic friendly, nice and cheerful staff (only one) doing everything and there were several orders. She handled wonderfully. It was quiet and it locate right at the entrance of the market so it can be abit chill from the wind but nice vibe. Prices are increasing but what else is news.“

“Frisky Business’s byline—“Where Cats, Community, and Kindness Come Together”—truly encapsulates not only its business philosophy; but also what it is like to visit here. Whether it’s for a refreshing coffee drink and tasty pastry; spending some time playing with in-house cats (for a reasonable fee); or attending one of the special events, it’s always a fun and enjoyable experience. On top of that (and reflecting the values of “Mr and Mrs Frisky”), there is a “pay it forward” board where one can purchase a drink or cat visit for someone who might need some support; and a pantry box where cat food donations can be dropped off for those who can use it or who feed community cats. I recommend Frisky Business to my local friends; and it’s a must “to do” when visitors come to town. It’s a great place owned by great people.“
