“Food is great as well as the prices. Margarita are good as well. I will definitely be coming back. I’ve been here four or five times now. The waiter didn’t once ask me once how my meal was. Nor did he offer dessert. The gentleman refilling my water, salsa, and chips was awesome though. Maybe I happen to miss it each time I’m but I really would like to hear some mariachi or other types of traditional Mexican music whether live or recorded. This is a Mexican restaurant after all. Again, I definitely plan on coming back.“

Like they should have a flavor of the week so there's more of a variety. Like if you come here regularly you get tired of the menu. Also I wish they had slices or samples of the bread. The pool and deck area is going through a renovation so we had to eat inside. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! It was perfect for a great conversation and catching up with my friend. I highly recommend this restaurant/bar nested in the Avalon boutique hotel and bungalows.“

“If it wasn't so pricy I would give it a 5 star review but $500 for 4 people, only 3 having 1 drink each is just a bit much for me. The service was terrific, friendly and knowledgable. Our server helped us explore new tastes in food and drink that we never would have tried without help. The food is terrific. High quality, complex and layered flavors with super fresh fish. I loved that there are great choices for non sushi eaters as well that are just as interesting. Overall a great place just too expensive for us anyway to go on a regular basis.“

“Excellent menu. I had avocado toast and the balsamic dressing was mind blowing, sooo good. Friends had the salad with strawberries and nuts and loved it. Service was quick, but I think our server was unhappy that day, didn’t offer a ton of smiles or warm conversation. I will definitely go back. Fries were also delicious and crispy.“

“Lovely restaurant inside of a beautiful hotel. Upscale southwestern with a hint of California retro. Menu is pricey, but the food is good. Large portions and great presentation. Service is friendly and professional. I felt valued and welcome. Upon seating, you are presented with a smoothie aperitif shot. I downgraded a star for the flies in the restaurant. At this price point, I shouldn't have to shoo flies. Sorry, but that's annoying while I'm trying to eat. Other than that, I'd definitely come back. Especially to enjoy their absolutely gorgeous bar“

“I enjoyed a wonderful experience at Farm in Palm Springs for an early Mother's Day dinner. We had delightful three hour six course dinner in a magical setting with live music and delicious fare. PROS: The hostesses graciously greeted us and sat us a bit earlier than our reservation time. Had a nice table in one of the rooms with a fireplace and a large mirror. The saxophonist played and the sound poured in with great acoustics from the speakers. The amuse bouch had avocado, so I could not eat it, so my mom enjoyed all two. My dad could not eat solid foods due to mouth surgery. The bread course had warm fresh items and silky salty butter. The beet salad, melon salad, and corn soup provided earthy, tart, sweet, and creamy bites and tastes. The varied textures provided a kaleidescope of fresh tastes. The baked brie offered sweet and savory mixes of grilled bread, pear, and date spread! The lemon sorbet palate cleanser provided a balanced experience that did its job. The salmon entree provided an exquisitely pan fried crispy and juicy flaky fillet. The creamy dijon mustard sauce complimented the protein perfectly. The sweet peppers offered a wonderful crunch. The swiss chard added some bitter contrast to the garlic potatoes. The wonderfully bitter Citron crepe provided a nice end to a culinary cruise. Crystal took great photos in the garden. Gilbert was professional and affable. CONS: They asked me so many times for extra drinks. I had to prompt them multiple times to fill the water glasses and refills on tea and diet coke. They charged me full price for mashed potatoes, soup, and sorbet for my dad's meal. I get it. OVERALL: I highly recommend this restaurant for a magical evening meal inspired by Provence, France.“

“Absolutely delicious! We went to Bongo Johnny’s for the first time, and we will definitely be going back! The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was so tasty! It is funny but the atmosphere seems very casual, but the food is something you would expect from a fine dining experience. Thankfully the prices were pretty reasonable! And to top it all off, the music was the best! When we were there they were playing 80s music and we just loved it! Bongo Johnny’s is a must if you haven’t been there yet. Peppers Thai is an exception and is a quality Thai restaurant in down town Palm Springs.

Our service was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered good insight to us.

The food quality was great. The four of us used to live in San Francisco and we were all happy with the taste of our dishes.

“I visited this restaurant with my wife for a quiet dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. The place had a calm and relaxing vibe, with soft lighting and clean decor. The menu had a lot of variety without being overwhelming. I went with the beef stew, and my wife ordered a vegetarian risotto — both dishes were flavorful and nicely presented. The service was friendly and attentive without hovering. We took our time, never felt rushed, and even stayed for dessert. The chocolate mousse was a perfect way to end the meal. “It's like being home sitting at our favorite table on the rail in Palm Springs. A people watching experience if ever there was. Oscar greeted us with a choice of waters, smiles and welcomed us back. Claudia was our server and as always a joy! She found our favorite wine, Willamette Pino Noir Estate and caught us up on the delicious changes in the menu. I started with the fatbastard oysters, mmm. We had the Wedge Salad, we should have split it, next time. Our Filet Mignon, asparagus and potato crouquettes were cooked to perfection.
