“O2Valley is where I go to curb the desire for Taiwanese food. The huge portions ensure that you'll never leave hungry, and the rotating selection of side dishes makes each return visit even more exciting. There's lots on the menu to try, so I'll definitely be coming back!“
“We tried the A2 Taiwanese chicken cutlet and A3 basil popcorn chicken. Both hit the spot and had a delightfully crunchy exterior which contrasted the flavorful, juicy chicken inside. I've been missing Taiwan and this fulfilled my craving for street food. I thought $12.28 was a bit pricey for the chicken cutlet, but they have large portions and cut it up in a box for you so it's easy to eat. I'll definitely be back for more.“
“Love their noodles - all 3 types are chewy and delicious! I am a non-spicy eater and appreciate I can get lots of flavor and it isn’t lost with the non-spicy option. I enjoy both the regular soup as well as the tomato one!We also like their appetizer plates where we can pick our favorites… and the fried pork too!“
“Just got back from Taiwan and was missing my 飯團。 I happened to be in Redwood City so found the place on Google. I was very surprised to find a food establishment that is between all these auto collision and hauling businesses. I wasn’t sure I was going into the right place because nowhere on the façade did it say it was called taiwanese eats. Luckily, someone appeared at the window right away and told me that I needed to order first. I ordered two rice burritos for $7 each and could only finish one. The glutenous rice was delicious and the fish (魚鬆) and boiled egg inside was excellent as well. I will definitely be going back when I’m in the area. Lucky for me, I have another rice burrito to eat later tonight.“
“This is the best Taiwanese restaurant in the Peninsula. I’ve brought friends and family here, and I’ve never heard any complain from the picky eaters. My favorites are basil chicken, potstickers, twice-cooked pork, and the list goes on. They also have great service and generous portion.“
“Super nice and attentive staff. Very generous, we got a drink and fresh sesame balls for dessert on the house. I’m a sucker for stinky tofu and go out of my way to try places that offer it in the Bay Area - this place does it well! Perfectly fried. Nice funk but not unbearable. Pickled cabbage and tasty dip included. Cucumber salad was well seasoned and refreshing. Popcorn chicken platter came with chicken, string beans and blood cake - great tasty variety! Popcorn King oyster mushroom is a great vegan option for that veggie friend you brought.“
“If you like rice (and sweet potato) porridge and want some light, this is where you should go! A selection of taiwanese dishes, shredded jelly fish and bitter melon are my favorite! You can order from the menu for freshly made dishes or on the smorgasbord.“
“Bistro style Taiwan food restaurant that serves breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. Authenticity in taste is definitely there with the various dumplings, buns and soy tofu. They have everything one can find in Taiwan street food. Would be a 5 stars spot if they had sticky rice rolls.“
“One of my friend celebrated her birthday and this is her blowout celebration. Everybody got their own version, I got the Lamb Hot Pot, my wife got Japanese Miso, the celebrant got All Vegetarian, a couple shared Curry Beef, the celebrants husband got Beef Sacha and our last friend got Seafood Lobster Pot. The serving is generous and very good tasting hot pot soups, lots of vegetables and condiments. Very good for a winter December dinner. Everybody enjoyed their dinner and had an excellent dinner experience. Will visit again given a chance.Vegetarian options: There is an All Vegetarian hot pot soup that every vegetarian would appreciate and enjoy.“
“My go to place for drink. It’s not a boba shop so don’t expect any boba here. They have different teas. My favorite are the sugar cane lemonade, sugarcane tea, and red bean drink. It can get busy on the weekend but service is overall fast. Good place to hang out especially since they have inside and outside seating. Near restutant so if you’re hungry it’s just a walk away. Plenty of parking and near Tesla charging.“
“Great Taiwanese dim sum location, very delicious.Beef noodle soup ? - the handmade noodles were bouncy (in a good way) and the meat was tender. I liked the bits of tendon on the end.The XLB (A1 and A13) were great.Fairly large seating area, a variety of table sizes. I prefer the tables since the booths didn't look very comfortable. It was like sitting against the wall at 90 degrees (tho not everyone leans back).“
“So good. The food is a little pricy for what it is but it’s delicious. I brought my grandparents here and they loved it tooit’s a great spot to satisfy some chewy noodle cravings!Atmosphere gives a sort of elevated cafeteria vibe- nothing to write home about but it was still pleasant to eat there :)“
“Red Hot Wok offers a fiery dining experience with lightning-fast service. The restaurant buzzes with energy and the food arrives nice and hot.The flavors are enticing enough to warrant repeat visits. Whether you want a dish that is sweet, spicy, savory, vegetarian, or something new, this menu has something for you.The only downside is the slightly small space, but I would say it adds to the atmosphere. Worth the visit if you are in the area!“
“My wife bought a few boxes with different main dish and mixed combinations of side dishes. We all grew up in Taiwan, so the comparison was based on past experience. We didn't have time to take pictures before finishing the dishes. All the dishes are great. We will go again.“
“Had fun experiencing this hotpot. It doesn’t have a lot of meat varieties, but it is still hotpot after all. They have a river belt where you can get your side dishes like veggies, noodles, etc. But the meat is on point - juicy and with the umami from the mixture of the sauce you dip it with. Speaking of sauce, they do have a sauce bar for you to select your own, and they have fruits if you want to eat some later before completing your lunch/dinner.“
“This a review of the Taiwanese Eats, part of a take out only place near RWC Costco. The purple rice Fan Tuan are great and the pig’s ears are problem the best in the Bay Area the at they slice it thin and with great sauce. The bento boxes are decent, but order from here for the fan tuan and Pg’s ears! Negligible parking, you just pick up so most people just do a quick wait on the street.“
“Definitely worth a try due to solid food at solid prices. Price points are competitive for the Bay Area and the food itself may even be able to compete with NYC Chinese food, so it’s worth stopping by for a straight and to the point meal at a no frills restaurant.“
“Best Taiwanese food in the Bay Area! My husband and I eat here every week because there are so many choices and they are all authentically delicious. I gathered my 9 foodie friends, including my husband, when I saw their Chinese New Year banquet menu. The ten of us sat at their brand new big round table, we stuffed ourselves with amazing traditional Taiwanese banquet gourmets, (totally different from the regular menu.) We also had boxes of leftovers for another meal. $600, 12 dishes, more than enough for 10 people; it equates to $5 per dish per person! After 10.75% tax and 20% tips, it's still less than $6.54 per dish per person! Plenty of food for 12 (or more if you're watching your weight. ) We ate 12 incredible dishes (see menu and food photos,) and we were 10 happily stuffed foodies wanting to do this again. The proprietor said to please give them at least two weeks notice for them to make a new banquet menu and buy the fresh ingredients anytime we want to taste another special meal. They are ready now for you to make a reservation and come enjoy the wonderful Chinese New Year banquet meal. Happy Eating!“
“Came in on a week night in need of a quick order for drinks and popcorn chicken. Ordering was easy, because we can use the touch pad. There's a wide selection of drinks that you can customize, which is great. The sitting area was comfortable, with a TV to watch fun shows. Each drink was made with fine ingredients and neatly packaged. :The order was ready so fast, which was impressive, since I ordered 2 boxes of chicken and 5 drinks. This would normally take 20-25 minutes in other stores, but they only took about 8 minutes here. If you're in need of a quick drink and snack, this is the place to go!“
“Hits the spot every time. My wife and I frequent this restaurant and bring friends and family often as well. They never disappoint us. I have yet to completely finish a regular (generous) portion, but I also order the Ramen noodle extra. We prefer the Beef and Tomato soup but have tried others and they are also good. Each bowl/pot comes with a plentiful assortment of veggies, seafood and meat. They even have boba tea and it's great!“
“I love this place. Close to work and quick service. I get a basic beef bowl and it hits the spot every time. The owners are great and very considerate. The first time I ordered there were no chopsticks in the bag. After that there were chopsticks ready to go every time I ordered, so this business gets to know your preferences and makes an effort to please customers on every visit. I highly recommend you try it out!“
“I recently dined at Hi Pot and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant offers a wide range of choices for hotpot, with a great selection of meats, vegetables, and other ingredients. I appreciated the variety of options, which allowed me to create a customized meal that was perfect for my taste preferences. The food was of excellent quality, with fresh ingredients that were perfectly cooked. I particularly enjoyed the spicy broth, which had just the right amount of heat and added a wonderful depth of flavor to the meal. The price was also very reasonable, considering the quality and variety of the food that was offered. Also, they offered free sweet tea. However, one area where Hi Pot could improve is in their staffing on Sundays. During my visit, it seemed like there was only one waiter on staff, which led to some delays in service. Despite this, the waiter was incredibly friendly and did his best to keep up with the demands of the restaurant. With more staff on hand, I'm sure the experience would have been even more enjoyable.Despite this minor issue, I would highly recommend Hi Pot to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying hotpot meal. The food is of exceptional quality, with a wide range of choices that are sure to please any palate. The price is also very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food that is offered. If you're looking for a great hotpot experience, Hi Pot is definitely worth a visit.“
“Wow, this place!!! Get here immediately... first time trying this spot and I am impressed. Polite and fast service, fresh presentation of a wide variety of delicious and authentic taiwanese dishes.I got a 4 item plate with porridge, and couldnt resist ordering an extra platter to go for dinner because of all the yummy choices... very hard to choose only 4!! The porridge came with big chunks of soft sweet potatoes too... what a genius healthy addition. Loved it all! There were meat varieties, along with lots of veggie and non meat protein options. The place was neat and clean and bright. Already sent this spot to my best friend and my sister and looking forward to coming back here for sure. Highly recommended for an irresistible culinary experience.“
“I was here for a quick lunch as I had a meeting to return to. It's a nice and cozy place. There's a QR code menu from which I ordered black pepper beef with rice and my friend ordered duck rice. We ordered the honey dew drink. The service is great and pretty fast. They have an outside sitting as well. They opened at 11:30 am and we reached just five after. The food was so delicious, I will highly recommend you to try black pepper beef rice. I really enjoyed my lunch and yes they take“
“This stands out because the WHOLE family is working here. And the whole is really excellent.PRO:- Excellent food- Big portions- Dumplings plumpCON:- Beef Pancake was a bit greasy (but you expect that)- Limited parkingSUMMARY:Cute restaurant that is massive in what they do.You can tell they are vested in their business and their food shines because they are all in.“
“They have lots of different options. For milk tea, my favorite is the Mango milk tea with boba. They also have the Icy, like a slushy. The mango is also great.Food wise, they don’t have lots of vegetarian options but everything else is great. You can order on Uber eats or in store, or you can call them. They are very fast. For the drinks you can ask for them to be caffeine free.Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian food options but the drinks are all vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: They are very kid-friendly. Lots of kids from schools nearby come.“
“The main star of this place is the grilled G-pie. Contrary to what it sounds like it is actually fried and then grilled while they slather it with their special, slightly spicy BBQ sauce. This is actually hard to find elsewhere if you didn't know. The other bento I recommend is the fried squid. The price of the bentos is very affordable while the appetizers, on the other hand, are not. Particularly the mushroom skewers. The taro balls with the golden egg yolk inside is my favorite of the snacks. The drinks are decently priced and I do find some of them most refreshing with the fried stuff.“
“One of my favorite Taiwanese restaurants in the South Bay. Incredibly large menu, and very authentic taste for most of the menu items. One of the few places where you can still enjoy a good bowl of oyster noodles, and also the oyster omelette is very good. Ample free parking.“
“We are working on a project down the street from this place, so we recently started going to this particular location. The self-ordering kiosk gives you a 20-25 minute wait time but we’ve been in and out within 10-15 minutes the last 3 times we’ve been there. The staff could be a little bit less serious and more welcoming but they are not rude either so I am not gonna hold it against themAll the drinks we’ve tried so far are really good. We haven’t tried their food.No restroom and parking is scarce to say the leastParking: This shopping center is always packed and it is hard to find parking at all times“
“For savory breads, I recommend the Black Pepper Pork Pastry, QQ Bun, Curry Beef, and Dried Pork Roll. Most of their other breads, and sweet breads especially, nowadays have crept up in price and aren't really worth buying. On many unlucky occasions the cashiers accidentally upcharge me for some items, adding a few extra dollars to my total.“
“Great little place for Taiwanese food in Palo Alto. Service was great and atmosphere is simple, but fine. Best, however, is the food. I had the Taiwanese sausage fried rice, which was quite solid, and the Salt & Pepper pork chops, which were amazing! The best I've had outside of China. Prices are reasonable as well and they have those jumbo bottles of Taiwan beer. Glad I tried this place.“
