“I have to say this experience was beyond incredible. The wine, the food, the clear personal connection the guy had to what he is serving is worth reserving and going. It’s clear he puts so much time into choosing the wines and preparing the food. It’s a truly special experience and the best of any that we had in our trip to Paso. We were provided with detailed unpretentious explanations of the excellent wines and got one of the best meals we could have expected. It was rich and sweet and perfect.“

“We wanted a place in Paso Robles near the freeway that we could stop and have pizza on the way home from seeing Hearst Castle with our family. Well not only did we find a pizza place, we found a really good one and from the amount of business they where doing on a Wednesday evening I would say many people agree! It is locally owned and operated by friendly, helpful people who know how to make great food. Now if only they would open one in the Fresno/Clovis area.“

“Made a pit stop at Paso Robles, and I thought, some hot noodle soup sound good for a cold weather. I was kinda skeptic 🤨 thinking it’s a Thai restaurant and not Vietnamese. But it did not disappoint. The broth alone was tasty. A single serving can feed two. And I like how they served on the side, generous amount of basil, Mung bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeño (for added kick).“

“For the food, presentation , choices and generous sized lemon drop cocktail, I'd give it a 5 star. The only reason for 4 was because we were seated in a corner with no one around and forgotten about. Once our server made the realization, she was on it and a fantastic server!“

Had a delicious late breakfast/lunch thanks to super staff (thank you Debbie) and oh, the food, the food was smashing! Gravy & biscuits, and chicken fried steak. Come in and eat. Just like an old Western movie (which was playing on the screen over our table) Cowgirl Cafe in Paso Robles off 13th Street is a trip back in time to when cowboys were young in the Old West. And #cowgirls? They're saddled up and running the town.“

“This place came recommended by a local. We went there to dine. Their sign read: Fathers Day special: Pulled pork Mac and cheese with chorizo House salad. $17.00. Ordered the special and a salad expecting pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Got a small nacho container with a small amount of Mac and cheese (possibly from a box) with chorizo and a very small amount of bland pulled pork meat mixed in. I explained to the girl that this was not what I was expecting due to the way the menu read. I asked if I could get pulled pork instead like the menu said. Her response was... you can buy another meal if you want. Very poor customer service and unintentional or not very poor description of the meal as well as a very high price for the food quantity and quality. Could not even eat the meal. Wife got a salad with ranch. She also could not eat her salad due to the ranch tasting like thickened buttermilk with mayonnaise with no ranch mixed in. Left the whole $50 dollar meal (because at the register I had left a very generous tip prior to getting my meal). Will not be back. If you go save the tip until you make sure you get the service and meal you would expect!“

“Fantastic modern new wave Mexican food, the flavors were delicious. We had the chips and salsa, the California burrito, and the taquitos, all of these were quite tasty and well portioned. We attempted to make a reservation online but it was lost, the hostess took mercy on our pitiful situation and still found us a table at lunch time. Service overall was excellent, staff were efficient and friendly. The interior decoration design was impeccable, there is also a full bar with a myriad of options. Prices were high but to be expected in SLO.“

“I live close to Umi so I go in a few times a week for the Umi Special. My family and I go in at least once a month and my kids LOVE sushi! When I take them, its definitely not a cheap dinner. we spend just under $200. I order the same thing every time for the special. This last time I went in the chef refused to make the change I always ask for. I'm just not a fan of spicy tuna so I ask to switch out the spicy tuna for spicy crab. this one particular chef just wouldn't do it. That's fine, but I feel like it should be equal across the board. It's not right as a loyal customer I have been ordering the same thing for SO LONG, and then one guy just didn't feel like doing it. A little disappointing but oh well. I came to Jin instead :)“

“They have really nice and refreshing sandwiches made really well. Don’t come as often as I’d like but when I do I get the best quality sandwiches, service and efficiency. I would like to particularly point out one specific worker who’s always there when I arrive never seems to stop be a hard worker, his name’s Joseph and he’s just the funniest most enjoyable person to lighten the workplace. I really admire that people like this do the best effort with any task they have whether it be big or small very patient and understanding when I messed up my order. Never seems to complain with what comes his way with other rude customers I saw in the atmosphere. Definitely small things like nice service and food from Joseph make a bigger impact as a local for me my day and experience better! HE NEEDS A RAISE! I hope there are still people like him that are seen in the work industry.“

Recommend checking out the store, many selections to choose from. I certainly enjoyed the different selections, store had a little bit of everything for everyone. “I had an overall great experience at Blaze Pizza thanks to Jesus, who was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything about my order was perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about customers and it really made a difference.

Unfortunately, one girl on the team really brought down the experience. Her attitude was dismissive and she seemed annoyed to even be helping us. It’s a shame because Jesus set such a high standard, but her behavior left a bad impression.

I’d definitely come back because of Jesus, but I hope the team can work on providing the same level of customer service across the board.“
