“My favorite stop in Placer County! This winery is just right with a mix of being: family owned with a personal touch that make you feel like a part of the family there! It is also the perfect place to take friends and family members because there is so much open seating, where you could look out on the winery as the train goes past or sit in some adirondack chairs playing cards. Additionally, if you are into wine but have not found your spot yet, I recommend doing the Placer County Wine Trail in the area!“

“I found out about this place because of the All American Rib cook-off in Auburn and I was excited to see they were located close by in Roseville. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! Their food is top-notch too. It's my favorite place to get wings because they are never scrawny and the lemon pepper is fire. The ribs are always fall off the bone and delicious. The mac and cheese definitely lives up to being cheesy. The potato salad is one of the best you can get! I got to try the donuts for the first time and ate them all before I even made it to the car.“

“I went in at lunchtime, and it was packed. I was going to order a burger but switched to a patty melt instead. It was perfect. They also do tacos, burritos, sandwiches, and more. The food was the same (other than my toast coming out a little over toasted) but the service was not as good as we expected. My wife asked for extra olives in her Bloody Mary and didn't get them. I know but we've been spoiled by the great service in the Lincoln branch. We'll be back...UPDATE Went back, and had great service and great food! Yeah!“

“My husband and I stopped by on St. Patty's Day (for the Lobster Truck) - I'm typically not much of a beer drinker but I think GB Brew may have just changed that. I seriously fell in love with the Sour Seduction. The other brews I had were very tasty but the Sour Seduction definitely was my #1 and we even brought some home for another day. “Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.“

Bambie had the ahi tacos. I had the Oaxacan green mole' with chicken plate. Fresh and flavorful, plentiful, plated pretty. With one beer this feast cost all of $40. The smoky spicy jalapeño sauce had just enough kick and brought the whole sandwich together. The interior is welcoming has a decent amount of table and bar-style seating. “This was a great accidental find! I was with friends checking out Loomis and we decided to stop at this winery. So fun! Think neighborhood bar where everyone is welcome. I'm not a big wine drinker but I enjoyed the Rose. It was fruity, fresh, and crisp. They sell charcuterie. The fun part is they had a snack table . People put snacks on a table and everyone was welcome to help themselves. They had a live band. We sang to the music, danced, and cheered. The building was rustic and the atmosphere was layed back. They had a projector shining onto the wall and people watched the football game. I'm coming back for out sure!“

“I've been a customer of this place in the past and ALWAYS LOVE the yogurt here but I never knew the story behind it. I happened to be the first person who walked in this shop today. One of the owners was there and he was running a little behind..... No big deal. I was the only one there and wasn't in a rush. Well he still had to count the register and handed me a bunch of little cups to sample the flavors. He apologized several times which I told him not to. After counting the register quickly he was just full of energy, happy as can be and was proud of his shop (Well I think its more of his wife's shop because he just raves about how hard working she is). As a matter of fact he told me how his wife custom makes each flavor and not only does she creates these to die for yogurts, she strives to perfect them and revamps some of the flavors by adding other ingredients!! I was really impressed and AMAZED at her determination of perfecting each flavor! After tasting each one I was in a bind in choosing just one flavor. All of them were DEVINE! They even had pineapple sorbet which is SOOOOO ON POINT with the one they sell in Honolulu and Disneyland!! Its such a fun cheerful spot and they even have a corner set up for photo ops! The owner was just awesome and full of personality. He really made my day by just being himself, being super kind, and enthusiastic about coming to work. Now that's hands down the crem de la crem of customer service. And to top it off, he told me that the yogurt was on him!! I was in awe. I truly didn't expect it and even told him that I wanted to pay for it. He didn't take my money but made me an everlasting loyal customer! Thank you again for your generosity!! “Rappe Family Vineyards - Auburn We were on our way to another winery and passed the entrance to Rappe Family Vineyards. We decided to turn around and enter the vineyard after looking at the excellent ratings. We were not disappointed. We came to learn that the winery is fairly new to the area. Clearly it is nice addition to the Auburn area. Their tasting room is set up in a large tent during the winter months and outside next to the vineyard during the summer. The hosts were excellent. For such a young winery they offered excellent wines. It should not be surprising since the founder Tom Rappe has spent his career in the wine industry. Each individual tasting is free with the purchase of a bottle of wine. We had the same nice experience in Napa 25 years ago. We loved our tasting. Absolutely worth a visit.“

“Wow, outstanding customer service. I just got into an accident right outside this business in the parking lot and was incredibly shaken up. Someone came right out from this business, checked on the involved parties, offered their security camera footage, and eased nerves. The gentlemen who came out, will never know how much that meant to me in that time. After I got back in my car, I was crying upset before I drove away, and he came and brought me fresh onion rings and napkins. Amazing customer service, sense of community, and the onion rings were phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned with a nice crunch. 10/10 would recommend.“

First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. “What. A. Find. Traveling to Reno and I-80 is closed so we stopped and stayed in Auburn. Walked over to this hole in the wall Mexican joint and stumbled upon a gem. I travel to Baja frequently and this place is as good, and definitely as authentic, as any restaurant I've been to in Mexico. The soups were over the top. My wife went with the chicken tortilla and the portion was a meal in itself. The prices were so good, I figured that the portions must be small, so I went a la carte with a Baja fish taco (the only so-so item), a cheese enchilada (excellent) and chili rellenos (the best I've ever had, no exaggeration.) The locals know the place, but if you're traveling through, stop here, you won't be disappointed. The only downside to the meal was it was so much food that I didn't get to try the homemade flan.“
