“I love Raising Cane's chicken. It is always perfectly. I love their that that comes with it. I just wish there was a Cane's closer to Echo Park. I have to drive all the way to Pico Rivera to get it but any time I am anywhere near there, I always stop by.

Parking: At Pico Rivera I have never had any trouble parking. There are always lots of spots available and lots of handicapped spots available too.“

“Was super happy with our dinner at Hippo. Every dish was delicious. The brussel sprouts and cauliflower starters had excellent flavors. All the pastas we tried had incredible depth of flavor without being overly heavy or greasy. The hippo rolls and table focaccia were excellent and the chicken thighs were to die for. Only thing that was lackluster was the passion fruit gelato. Fun vibe, lots of seating, and great service!“

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“Stopped in for lunch today after seeing a post on Instagram. It’s nice, clean and right on the corner in the shopping center. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. I will be back again and I did invite my friends already. Thanks Chef! Congratulations!!“

“Had breakfast at Tenampal and loved it! The Anthony Special is a must-try — half chilaquiles in mole and half in green sauce with eggs on top. So good! The café de olla was delicious too. The staff here are super friendly and make you feel really welcome. Definitely coming back!“

The highlight of the evening was definitely the French onion soup—it was rich and flavorful, truly stealing the show. We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were delicious. The charcuterie board was a feast for the eyes and the taste buds, and the inclusion of black cheese added a fun Halloween touch. The jackfruit tacos and Buffalo cauliflower (especially the Tuesday cauliflower tacos!) were amazing. The new avocado taco just isn’t the same. It’s not about price—it’s about keeping great veggie choices that regulars loved. Please bring them back!!“

“I can’t give enough stars. I ordered catering for my son’s 2nd birthday. I live in Las Vegas and I was able to order everything via email with Josh. I explained the sides I was going to have and the number of guests. He predicted my food exact! Everyone enjoyed the food!
