“This is our go-to Chinese restaurant in Pleasant Hill - we've only done dine-in and service is fast and friendly, while the food is always delicious. I'm a big fan of their salt and pepper options, as well as their kung pao chicken. Their crispy glazed chicken is tasty too. Great lunch specials too - you get your entree and rice, along with a cup of soup and your choice of salad or spring roll.“
“I only come to this location for the lunch specials with my family on Sundays The resturant is in a quiet shopping plaza near the sun Valley mall. The ambiance is a dark room with the lights off the entire time. Staff doing utensils in the same room as the customers. Some weekends are busier than others. This past weekend, there is no one in the dining room except for me and my family. Staff is usually attentive to our family needs. For less than 20 dollars, we got salad, hot and sour soup, and our entre. Today I got Mongolia three ways with chow mein. It was a large portion and brought leftovers home. Much more worth it compared to a small plate at panda express. Overall, I enjoy this place ALOT more than the food options at nearby mall. If you want good meal for the price, come for the lunch specials between 11 am to 3 pm.“
“Best Burmese restaurant in the Bay Area in my opinion. The restaurant is so clean and service is superb. Coconut chicken noodle soup had layers of flavors and the whole tilapia dish topped with green mango relish was just refreshing. Can’t wait till the next visit!“
“Ate here for the first time thanks to the great Yelp reviews! There's not that many spots in the mall that have decent food honestly, so I was looking forward to trying a different spot. It wasn't busy at all (lunch on a Thursday though) but the place was clean and efficient. I ordered a 49er roll and a spider roll, came out to just over 20 bucks with tax which is a pretty good deal for sushi. The rolls were excellent and a decent size. The soft shell crab was fried to order so it was crunchy which I love. No complaints here, I would go back again for yummy sushi at a decent price.“
“This is a fantastic restaurant. The buttermilk chicken sandwich and the tater tots are perfect. It’s a very pleasant place inside and out and the staff and owners are lovely. Taking my wife a Karaage chicken sandwich now because she loves spicy food and I think she’ll love this. First time of many visits, I’m sure!Kid-friendliness: Owners have kids - very welcoming. Kid friendly tables.“
“Korean BBQ Plus in Concord is a haven for lovers of authentic Korean cuisine. Their bulgogi is a delectable blend of savory flavors, tender meat, and perfectly balanced marinade. The gal bi tang is a comforting delight, rich with hearty beef and aromatic spices. This place is a definite go-to for anyone craving comforting Korean food that hits all the right notes. With attentive service and a cozy ambiance, Korean BBQ Plus truly delivers a satisfying dining experience“
“Second time coming here and had different food items. All were amazing. The spices used and the quality of the food is really great. I so enjoy this restaurant. B, our server was wonderful. she was gracious, knowledgeable, and gave us good suggestions on what to order. It was a great night.“
“It’s a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu. Decor is bright and cheery. Bonus points for big screens showing a winning Warriors game on the night we dined there! ? Personally I had the cheesy katsu on a sizzling hot plate which was quite a sight and tastes pretty good. My party had sushi and ramen which are ok but the broth is not complex flavor-wise. The draft beer in frosted mugs is refreshing and goes very well with the katsu. Service is friendly and lots of drink options from sake to soju to ramunes. Definitely something for everyone.Vegetarian options: There are options even for plant-based diets.Parking: Saw a couple of pay-per-use EV charging spots in the parking lot too. Probably J1772s.Kid-friendliness: Good menu options for kids and they provide little chopstick training widgets for a fun experience“
“Our party of 19 ate here the night after Christmas. Yo's on Hartz is such a nice and intimate place to eat. The manager, Evelyn, made sure our large party was well taken care of and gave excellent meal recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their food and cocktails. We look forward to dining here again!“
“Quick and attentive service ( not too much) even though they were busy. Great food. Love the tea salad. The garlic eggplant with shrimp was really good. The samosas to start were a good choice , nice and tender filling with a great crust. We also had crispy chicken, garlic noodles, garlic broccoli, and black pepper beef. All were delicious. I had a great tasting ginger lemonade.“
“We are always looking for great Chinese food. We have lots of places that we go for Chinese food and most of them are very average. 5 of us ate dinner here a couple of weeks ago. Every dish we had was well prepared, tasty, and flavorful. Mongolian beef, Szechuan pork, lemon chicken, pork fried rice, chow menu were all great. I particularly loved the pot stickers. So many times they are kind of doughy and seem undercooked. These were light, nicely browned and crispy on the outside. Probably the best potstickers I've ever had and I've had a lot. Can't wait to come back.“
“Food was delicious. The service was excellent. The ambiance is perfect. The owner and sushi chef, Ricky, and his staff are my favorite part. We had the VIP treatment. Guess it didn't hurt that RJ's favorite customer was in our group. I highly recommend RJ's.“
“The food was excellent! I was with two of my counterparts as we were working in the area (I am from Florida, one counterpart from Las Vegas and the last from Visalia) and we had dumplings, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour pork, Mongolian beef with combination rice. It was absolutely fantastic! The service was incredible and we asked for absolutely nothing during our meal as it was taken care of before we even realized we needed it done.I highly recommend this location as you will not be disappointed.“
“tasty sushi burrito, interesting concept, no high end ingredients but still pretty good! ran in with my buddy to the commissary kitchen that has a lot of different restaurants as part of the group. Nice guys running the place, fun to talk to, decent semi-healthy lunch to grab and go!“
“The food and service is excellent. They have vibrant art on the walls and jazz music playing for the perfect ambiance. It's also family owned; these folks are absolutely sweet and kind. And it's clean and bright and spacious. A must if you like Thai food and a close-knit community“
“I recently dined at Kacha Thai and I have to say, I was disappointed. While the service was friendly, the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the Green Curry with chicken and it lacked the depth of flavors that I was expecting. The portion size was also quite small for the price. The ambiance of the restaurant was also a letdown. The music was too loud and the lighting was too bright, making it difficult to have a conversation or feel relaxed. Additionally, the tables were too close together, making it feel cramped and crowded. On a positive note, the restaurant does offer a good selection of vegetarian options and the staff was accommodating to my dietary preferences. However, overall, I was unimpressed with my dining experience at Kacha Thai. I have had better Thai food at other restaurants for a similar price. In my opinion, there are better options out there for Thai cuisine.“
“Pearl Thai in Benicia is like a culinary journey to Thailand with its flavorful main dishes that can satisfy that Thai food craving. The cozy atmosphere wraps you in a warm, mom-and-pop embrace, making it feel like a home away from home. However, when they are busy, it seems like they may need just an extra hand. Now, let's talk about the Tom Yum soup—it's the Thai food litmus test, right? This one had me doing a culinary double-take. It felt like it was playing hide-and-seek with tomatoes, and the spice level was on a mild vacation. I'm all for a flavor adventure, but this soup needed a bit more Thai kick to dance on my taste buds. But hey, the angel wings, the seafood plate, and the shrimp pad Thai? And other dishes were good. They were like a Thai food orchestra hitting all the right notes. So, despite the Tom Yum detour, Pearl Thai knows how to deliver a tasty symphony on your plate.“
“First time here, staff were very attentive and welcoming, service was fast. Food was great, the crispy pork tasted great but the porkmwasnt very tender.. the rest of the dishes we ordered were superb.Parking: Lots of parking since its in ygnacio plaza“
“We always enjoy the food here (this time Steak, Risotto, 2 way chicken, Salmon), although the menu seemed more limited than last time (6 months ago). Unfortunately there was a huge birthday party going on (including video screen, etc.) and they gave them a microphone which blasted through the whole restaurant. Good wine selection and I always enjoy the Doubtfire cocktail (jalapeño infused tequila),“
“Solid brunch spot. Food was good, huge portions, and the option for bottomless mimosas. They have some good vegetarian options including an impossible patty. No reservations allowed, but you add your name to the check in list. Took about 30 minutes to get seated for a group of 4 (we arrived at 11am and were seated just after 11:30). We were seated in an outdoor tent that was a bit hot from the sun (no ventilation). Friendly servers and they were definitely busy. Were prompt on refilling mimosas though! Would return.Vegetarian options: Avocado salad was yummy. They also have egg and impossible pattysParking: Plenty of parking“
