My family and I have been here multiple times. The staff were nice enough to take us in 20 minutes before they closed.“

“I loved my experience here! The food was amazing and the sauces were delicious. Aaron the owner treated us like family. You must go try it- you will go back again. Bring your own alcohol as they are new and don’t have their liquor license yet.“

“Our family has known Peni, Sherry,there kids and grandkids for over 12 yrs now. Once I saw and smelled the bbq over 12 yrs ago I gravitated towards it and have been a huge fan since. Their island q is the best on the mainland and I recommend trying it all since I don’t have a favorite. You can see the passion and love that this family puts towards sharing a little bit of their heritage through their food with all of us. “First time here and I was surprised at how much I LOVED the pulled pork. It was nice and crispy, just how I like it! Both the mild and spicy sauces are delicious. My husband also enjoyed the ribs and jalapeño stuffed sausage. Service was quick and very friendly.“

“Are you Team Hot Pot OR Team Dry Pot? If I can't have both, then I'm prob Team Dry Pot when it comes to malatang! For those who love building their own bowls, you have to bookmark this place! The concept is fun and simple. Grab a bowl, fill it with ingredients you want, weigh it (they charge by weight), then let the cashier know your pot preference (soup or dry) and spice levels.

The spice levels are serious here, so be ready to break a sweat. They have a little sauce bar too which adds a nice touch to both types of bowls. Pricing is fair here, especially if you get mostly meat, and I definitely had enough leftovers for another meal to take back.“

“We love coming here as a family. The staff are very kid-friendly. The food is good, although the traditional sushi are better than that modern ones. Their traditional sushi and sashimi are very good.Our kids ask to go to Satomi all the time!“

“Yo, just hit up this spot the other day and gotta say, it was pretty solid. First off, the service was quick – like, I ordered on my phone and bam, food was ready before I even knew it. That's clutch.

They also got this cool little fish tank and some chill lighting that kinda sets a nice mood, you know? Not super fancy, but definitely adds to the vibe.

Now, the food itself was tasty, no doubt. Just a heads-up, it was maybe a tad on the salty side for my taste. And one other thing – they use bamboo skewers instead of the metal ones. Wasn't a big deal or anything, just something I noticed.

Overall though, I had a good experience. Quick, easy, and the place has a cool, laid-back feel. Would def check it out again.“

Skibidi toilet rizz was playing cuz the owners kid was here. Classic Chinese restaurant. But otherwise, there were some interesting collections on the walls. Giving underground restaurant vibes, but not quite


Meat was juicyyyyy and love the enoki mushrooms. Some of the other skewers like the asparagus and 土豆丝 could use some more seasoning though.

We didn’t know what to order at first, and they didn’t make us feel rushed at all. In fact, they were very kind and attentive. They even offered us a free sample of one of their specialties. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their customers. And their food truly tastes like something from your favorite aunties kitchen!!

My boyfriend was a regular here before we started dating, but four years later, it was my first time going with him! It’s truly a gem. They pack the food to the brim, and it's enough to feed us for about four meals tbh. We got two lunch plates with Vegetarian Chow Mein, Fried Rice, Sesame Chicken (perfect chicken to breading ratio, and the sauce is addicting), Tofu and Eggplant (sooo flavorful), Roast Duck (my boyfriend's favorite) and cabbage, and an ice cold soda! They even added forks and napkins which a lot of other places forget to do.

If you’re looking for a lunch place that will satisfy both your appetite and your eyes, don’t hesitate to go here. The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and the service is nothing short of wonderful.

“We recently visited Go Goong and were looking forward to trying their BBQ pork. While the food itself was okay, flavorful enough—the overall experience was underwhelming. The portion size was quite small considering the price, and the ambiance didn’t live up to what you’d expect at that price point. What really stood out, unfortunately, was the service. The waitress was unexpectedly rude, which dampened the mood and made us feel uncomfortable throughout the meal. It’s disappointing when service overshadows the food. We wouldn’t rule it out entirely for a quick bite, but it’s not a place we’d go out of our way to visit again.“

We ordered the beef brisket, bulgogi, and pork belly, and the quality of the meat blew us away. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully marinated. What really stood out was the tableside grilling experience fun, interactive, and full of that signature KBBQ aroma we all love. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, offering help with grilling and explaining each dish with a smile.

We also tried the hot pot, which came bubbling with a spicy gochujang broth, tender beef, and plenty of veggies—it was comforting, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the BBQ. The banchan (Korean side dishes) were generous, constantly refilled, and packed with flavor. From kimchi to pickled radish to japchae, each side dish added something special to the meal.
