“We were visiting from out of town (Sacramento and Italy) and I picked this restaurant because I knew at least one person of our group was vegan/vegetarian and the reviews were great. It’s not a posh place and we were a bit nervous when we arrived wondering if I had made the right choice. But they treated us well and the food outshone the interior decor and paper plates. Even the meat eaters were satisfied and one person in our group said the margaritas were the best he’d ever had and strong. My dish was so fresh and delicious.

“This is an awesome Indian place with fantastic portions of delicious food. Their samsos are crunch and fresh and a delightful indulgence. My family of three usually shares two three items combos and it's a hearty amount for all.

“My work moved near the area so was looking for some food spots. Came across this place. Man has food gotten expensive nowadays. Anyways it's still comparable to other places. I ordered the beef soft sofu and a salmon skin salad. I didn't eat the salad yet but I tried a piece of the salmon skin and it tasted good. As for the soft tofu its decent. I ordered medium spice but it's not spicy at all. Maybe I try spicy next time. This is a nice cozy spot. Not bad for lunch“

“Located right next to Cal Poly college, Jinza Teriyaki is a great spot to eat after classes, my all time favorite is the Loco Moco bowl. The people are incredibly nice and especially early the place is a nice quite area to eat in. My only wish is that they would open earlier as someone who's out n about by 7am, but I understand not wanting to open at the crack of dawn.“

“I love Yume’s bahn mi. It’s tasty, cheap for a good portion ($9.42 with tax), and comes out quickly. I’ve also had the combination fried rice, and it was very good as well. There is some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor tables. The owner is super nice as well!“

“Oh em gee. I don’t know how to start. The atmosphere is so cool with this traditional vibe. The tofu is perfectly fried to perfection, nicely browned so it has that nutty flavor and very crispy. Honestly it’s better than the meat (if you don’t believe me, try it). I don’t usually like Tom Kha Gai, but my wife always wants it, it was so creamy and delicious and the acidity was well balanced. I was thinking maybe it was a fluke, but they really kept nailing the other dishes, basil eggplant, pad Thai (ofc) and green curry all good. I have also never liked fried banana dessert but that glorious fry cook did work on them like the tofu and it had a wonderful crispy outer layer. 10/10 would recommend and go again“

“Everything was as expected. The restaurant is an extension of the Mobile Gas station and serves fresh ready made burritos, tacos, fries and nachos. The meat is a little bland but when you add the salsa you get more flavor out of it. Good prices, but I don’t see anyone going there unless you’re local or happen to be passing by.“

“Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

I headed over to pick up the food which was ready in a timely fashion and went back work. As we were eating the food in walks a worker from the restaurant because they forgot to put shrimp in his rice. The dedication to service required to drive over to us to drop it off without us calling really shows the care they provide to their customers. We will definitely be back!“

“I have been here several times in the past but this is my first time reviewing them. I would say the atmosphere changes as the seasons do. Pretty much when sports are in season it will get a little crowded. I've been here several times during lunch hours and the customer flow is steady, dine in varies, overall there's a good chance to find a seat. I ordered a small pepperoni, sausage, bacon and bell pepper pizza (6 slices) with 2 16 oz of Elysian Space Dust. The bill was around $ 35, which to me is a little pricey. However the pizza came out steaming hot and cooked to order. As I mentioned I have been here before and will return. This may not be the best pizza, IMO, it is still a great choice to try out! There's plenty of TVs, games for the kids, small tables and larger group tables. Bathrooms are conveniently to the right of the cashier. Other customers did order wings and green salads. The wings were steaming hot and the salad looked fresh.

“Went thru the drive through on Monday Maddie was great. From the beginning very welcoming. Took my order with a good attitude food was great. Never had such a good drive thru experience before. makes me want to go back and dine in. After I left I realized I should have tipped her but wasn’t sure if that was appropriate for a drive thru. “This is genuinely one of my favorite places to eat in Pomona. I've been coming here for the past 2 years and they always have really great fresh food, and the owners are SO nice! They're super affordable as well, and they have good indoor seating and sell plants too, and fresh fruits while they're in season!

They used to be open till 11 pm (rip late night hours,

But after they shortened the hours they massively expanded the menu, now they have boba, smoothies, and other fun stuff!

Having tried the boba it's pretty good too,
maybe not of the same tier as a teahouse but definitely better than even some boba shops.

I really like boba so trust that when I say it's good it's good.

The spicy chicken is bomb! 100% recommend it, it's what I usually get, the lo mein and fried rice are good too, and I like their orange chicken :)“
