“We had the most pleasant experience celebrating our anniversary at Baxters! From the moment we walked in, the ambience was absolutely perfect — warm, and beautifully set for a special evening. The owner and servers were incredibly kind and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our visit. The food was delicious — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. To top it all off, they surprised us with a celebratory toast and a song for our anniversary, which made the night even more memorable and special. That personal touch meant so much to us. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Baxters to anyone looking for great food, amazing service, and a truly special experience!“

“Super cute place. Come as you are kind of bar. There are food vendors, gaming activities, pool, darts, wonderful people that are super chill. Legend says if you're there on a Monday there's There 2 islanders that cook amazing food...The only thing is that they show up randomly. They will post on the Second 2 None Facebook 5 hours before showing up. If you want to be there when they cook best to like this page so you can get the latest updates and last minute events and after parties.. PS. mention Alice or Ichigo referred you to the Bartender so they know. Also real men wear miniskirts if you can do that, kilts count too...“

“Bartenders are great and very friendly! They are on it to serve more drinks and very attentive! Been coming every evening. Highly recommend ! Police station near by but never any problems there ! Patrons friendly as well make you feel at home! Not to mention the drinks have better prices than any bar in town

“Character's offers a pretty complete menu along with specials at very reasonable prices. You have to eat to drink which is fine as it's the smart thing to do. Come check out their specials and the "hot older chicks"... hahahaha“

“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋“

“It is such a beautiful little place. It has a cozy atmosphere. The food was fabulous. We had a party of 13. We had a wide range of delicious food. Lamb ..Chicken Filet Mignon.. Mussels .. Prawns... Sausage . with pastas spinach mashed potatoes green peppers it was all just so good. I totally recommend“

“I thought I posted this months ago, but it never went live. So here I am again. This restaurant deserves a 5-star review. It embodies what most dining experiences are missing today. PJs is a lovely traditional Italian restaurant that blends great food with great community. Also, they have the best calamari that I've ever head!“

“What a beautiful place. Angela went above & beyond to squeeze in 3 of us to see a great band, Grooveline. The food was outstanding and the drinks had a punch. Our server Barbara was amazing. The place was packed & she was really running all night yet had a fun, pleasant attitude. Everyone danced all night. Such a great vibe. I would definitely go again. I'll follow your FB page for the band calendar. Thank you again Angela!!“

“Always a fun time, if you havent tried it its worth a stop. Coffee shop by day, bar evenings thurs-sun. They have an awesome Happy hour on thursdays at the time of review (5$ beer, 7$ mixed drink if I recall right?). If I do get a mixed drink, this is the place to get it. Pictured is the egg white sour. They do breakfast, but not dinner foods durinb bar service. Also, as a plus, they usually don't have live music, so you can actually hear the other person you're talking to.“

“Showed up for our reservation and was given a short tour and option of where to sit. The large dining room was a bit too open, I think the room needs vertical lighting rather than all flush mounts. But back to the food and drinks- the cocktails were all so pretty and delicious. I had the Cacti kiss and Paloma, my husband the Cadillac margarita. All were fantastic. The guacamole was tasty. Could have used a few more chips. The best entree was the chicken taquitos. I could have had another plate of them. The steak tacos were tasty but the tortilla was a bit thin and fell apart. Don't skip dessert - the churros are the obvious choice. We didn't have extra time but i will be coming back and plan to order the corn bread. Overall a great date night stop, with plenty on the menu to look forward to coming back.“

From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there's ALSO - the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights... THIS PLACE ROCKS! I may regret telling people how awesome this place is but it needs to be recognized. We are picky. This is only my 2nd review...EVER. Thank you, 709 <3 Joel and Heather“

“There’s nothing authentic about this place. The bbq is a 100% americanized version of real Korean bbq. With that being said the food itself overall was still good and the service was good as well. The bonchon wasn’t bad and the kimchi was pretty decent. The steamed eggs were sweet when they’re suppose to be savory and the kimchi jiggae wasn’t bad. Being Korean I’m gonna be more critical than the average reviewer.“

“My wife and I are both 100% Italian, so we know that Doppio Zero is the real deal. Love the pizzas, pastas and salads. The desserts are to die for. The staff is very warm & friendly, attentive and professional. We go there often, especially when we have special occasions and out of town guests. Grazie Doppio Zero!“

“Nice little neighborhood bar in downtown Benicia off first street. Open pretty late but still closes earlier than 2am. They have late night eats, TVs, and a happy hour menu. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our drinks and their food menu didn’t look bad. Both indoor and outdoor space. Parking isn’t too hard as there is plenty of street parking around this area. Their starburst, gummy bear, and green tea shots during happy hour are $5 and pretty tasty and sweet.“
“Had a great time. Other bars were closing at 9pm on a Sunday and these guys were open until 2. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Tucked away in a parking lot off of the main street. Turn down sos drive and left into the parking lot halfway down the hill, and you'll find it.“

“Hops & Scotch is a great spot with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect for any weather. Drinks are well-made, with a solid selection of cocktails and beers. Service can be a bit slow when busy, but the staff is friendly.

“I live in the area and usually come out on average once a month. There are lots of different types of shows, my favorite being the disco, 80s, and classic rock nights. There is a great taco truck that sells the most delicious steak and birria tacos ever. As a woman I always feel safe and comfortable here knowing there are plenty of security and workers always around to help if ever needed. I'll be celebrating my Birthday here in March and cannot wait! If you like live music, or live near by, definitely check it out!“

“The burrata w/ cherry tomatoes & pesto on sourdough is a FANTASTIC appetizer! Also highly recommended is their house salad, which is probably one of the best salads we've ever had -- even better than fancy specialty or dinner salads at other restaurants. Additionally our main pasta entrees were perfect, and the waitress was exceptionally generous w/ the fresh parmesan cheese she grated right in front of us. It was a DELIGHTFUL evening and we've already made reservations there for our Valentines anniversary dinner!“

“One of my San Francisco Bay Area Secrets..., that is no longer a secret.
Great Bar and Restaurant; old school making drinks (yes, heavy on the alcohol), a wide selection of worldly beers on the menu, a few beers on tap, and a good selection of amount of food that comes out of that kitchen of theirs.
I have been going to the Warehouse since I was a child, when my parents would take me there for dinner way back in the 1980s. Plus, there is a 11-foot tall polar bear, with another black bear for photography. Next door (random hours) is a clothing, antique store and on Sunday's (spring and summer months) is a live band.
If not live music, there is a jukebox with a very wide selection of music to choose from (with cash or on-line), only one (1) pool table, but because there is so much history in that place, there is no need for any activities like pool.
Overall, one of the best drinking holes in the Bay Area. We Love the Warehouse and shall never go to long without a visit.“
