“I've been going to this place since I was attending Rio Mesa! I have since moved to Vancouver, WA and there are teriyaki places EVERYWHERE. None compare, still. “Hidden gem!! It's tucked inside an abandoned food court. All the other stores within the food court are closed. It's the last one standing from the aftermath of the pandemic. Grabbed some quick sushi to take back to the hotel.
The sushi is surprisingly very good and fresh! Sashimi is buttery and silky. Price is very reasonable, and portions are just right. Sushi rolls and sashimi were delightful!“

You get soup and a salad to start with I believe that's part of the service because we didn't order it lol so u do get what you pay for. Good portions and a very good place to go to. Overall, the food has a tasty, lighter, and balanced flavor profile that we enjoy. But talking about service, can you imagine our surprise when a waitress walked over to our table and gave us 50.00 in cash (not credit) saying that we overpaid on our last visit - a month ago! Some years earlier, one of the sushi chefs and former student of mine paid for our meal as a surprising and much appreciated gesture of gratitude. Thank you.“

“This place is in a small hidden area , very cute and cosy. We had a small lunch ordered a few things . Food is great !! Flavors are so good !! Everything tastes perfect . Only one thing that bothered me was the person who took care of us from start to finish was NOT friendly at all. No hello welcome , I asked her for any recommendations, she just said I don’t know , I asked her for spicy , she said she didn’t have any. I notice that she is also the cook Which is pretty cool , I would have gave her that 5th star but , she is just NOT FRIENDLY !“

“I got the lunch bento with katsu and spicy tuna roll. Everything had a delicious flavor, the rice was perfect, and the salad was fresh. My wife is vegetarian and the chef made her an awesome tofu hot stone bowl. The chef was really talented, helpful, and fast. We’ll definitely be returning.“
