“Always great food and excellent service Whenever we eat at Lure Fish House in Porter Ranch, we can count on having a great meal. But we also can expect excellent service. Our recent visit was a little more extraordinary because of our server, Mar. Since we had been there before, but it had been a while, Mar asked if we knew what we wanted or if we wanted to hear the menu explained. We chose the latter. She also asked if we had allergies, which we did not. Not many restaurants ask that, which can be important because not all ingredients are listed and some people forget to mention it. We ordered our usual cup of Clam Chowder and asked about the Dungeness Crab Cocktail. Mar told us what we wanted to hear and ordered it. We shared both appetizers and enjoyed them both. For our entrées, my wife stepped out of her comfort zone and did not order her usual but rather the White Sea Bass in Almondine-style, which is crusted with breadcrumbs, parmesan and almonds. I went with my semi-usual of the Crispy Fish, Shrimp & Chips Combo, but with Pineapple Coleslaw, on the suggestion of Mar during the explanation of the menu. When the meals arrived, my wife said the Sea Bass was good, but she probably would not get it that way again. Mar checked in on us and my wife repeated what she had told me. Mar then said, "I have just the sauce to make it better." She returned with the sauce that comes with the Sally's Sand Dabs, which is a lemon caper sauce. My wife said it changed the entire meal and was amazing, which she thanked Mar for when she again checked in on us. For me, the Pineapple Cole Slaw matched perfectly with the fish and shrimp. I never would have thought of that. Mar truly knows the menu and what pairs well and complements each dish. I believe we will be visiting more often, asking for Mar on each visit and stepping out of our comfort zones more often, with Mar's guidance. Thank you.“

“Malama Pono has been my favourite restaurant in the neighborhood since 2021. I have always enjoyed my time here. Wonderful food and staff! BEST crispy rice in town!! Come here and you will not be disappointed. I’ve brought different people here and they all loved it. Everything on the menu is delicious.“

“The food is tremendous and the atmosphere is great. This is our favorite restaurant in all of Santa Clarita. The service is so good considering how small and crowded the restaurant is. I watched the manager helping servers and checking how everything is with the patrons. This is a very very nice hidden jewel of a restaurant in canyon country.“

“Most excellent experience and food was perfect. We had the duck eggrolls and the ricotta stuffed squash blossoms as starters, both had a delish specialty drink. I had the house burger with 3 different meats ground in including wagyu. Was done perfectly med rare. No room for dessert this time. Will def go back. Service was nice, we sat at the bar. I already knew what I wanted to order so I went for it. I sat and talked to the owner while waiting for my food and he told me how he started his business and about his passion for cooking. “It’s our first time to experience this place. We were immediately seated by Briana(hope i have her name spelled correctly)very impressive personality, she let us feel at home. She presented us with their menu and suggested some. My wife, daughter and I had a long discussion as we wanted almost all that was there, finally we chose what we really wanted according to what we can consume and we would not want to waste any. Waiting time for prep was acceptable, Briana was always there to make sure we were comfortable and ok. Food was served, and it was done as we wanted. Very delicious food, a bit pricey but it does not matter, was compensated by the greatness of the food and the excellent and caring service. We highly tecommend this place. “Been there multiple times - our favorites have been the rolls and the lobster tacos. Also needs to be paired with the fries and tater tots half and half mix. It’s the perfect meal. Parking is the only downside. The lot for that building is super expensive so we usually spend a couple extra minutes finding street parking. But it’s worth it for really well-priced, fresh, well-seasoned lobster and crab meat- and really friendly service!“

I was more than pleasantly surprised to find this gem in my neck of the woods, and am happy to report that Mardi Gras Tuesday will be my go-to Cajun/Creole joint for the foreseeable future. Mind you, I'm no expert on the cuisine, but I've been a fan for a long time and can happily endorse the Étouffée (crawfish), the Jambalaya, the Mac and Cheese, hushpuppies, and the friendly service at Mardi Gras Tuesday. *Though the cornbread didn't necessarily wow me, all and all, it was a great meal for the portions, price and quality. And considering they got slammed as soon as we walked in (around the start of the Super Bowl), the service was quick and we were in and out of there with bellies full of comfort food within an hour. “I've been seeing this place for it's great deal on a lunch buffet so finally got the opportunity to come. It came out to $15 per person for the buffet and it was pretty good for the price! Fresh naan, garlic or plain, is served directly to your table. Good selection but I do wish there were more paneer options. I would recommend this place for a quick and filling lunch!“

“This is a hole in the wall restaurant that seems to be a neighborhood favorite. There are not many tables inside, but they have a lot of covered seating outside behind the restaurant. Parking is limited, but we found some nearby at a strip center. 4/5 - Complimentary Tostadas: Served with pico de gallo, salsa and bean dip. Really good. 4/5 - Horchata 4/5 - Eggs, Beans & Carne Asada: My husband requested this (since it's not on the menu) and they made it for him. He was very happy. 2/5 - Beef Machaca: The beans and rice and tostada were really good. I didn't love the machaca though. The food came out to 3.5 stars. Service was friendly and attentive, so I will bump it up to 4 stars. I think this is probably a good lunch / dinner location.“

“I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!“

“Hands down best burrito(American style) in the valley. The soup is a hidden gem as well, I would say it is one of the best things on the menu, no matter what you get atleast get it on the side. Owner is also very nice, polite and professional to everyone. This place is small but he made sure that everyone was taken care of personally and had everything they needed and keeps the place running on a tight ship. Worth a try no matter what.“

“Shout out to Ximena for going above and beyond to provide the best customer service! It was my first time going to this location. I ordered online, and when I went to pick up, I could not find the store in the shopping center. I called and Ximena answered the phone and asked me where in the shopping center I was and was able to provide directions to me. She went as far as coming out of the restaurant, located me while still having me on the phone to make sure I made it. I also noticed that the rest of the employees were very kind and made sure the guests were fully satisfied. I ordered the shrimp bowl with salad and it was fresh and delicious.“

“Larsens is number one in SoCal for me. I like Flemings but Larsens is still The One❤️. I gave three stars on service because I grabbed a table in the lounge and waited maybe 9-10 mins ppl walking around it wasnt busy and nobody came to my table, went back to the front to make a change and the host (1 of 4ppl) could have done better at grabbing me a seat in the very empty dinning room instead of going through it to the point that I almost bailed. My server was on point and I appreciated that! I ordered 2 Rib Eye Steaks to conpare the 18 oz to the 20 oz… 18 won ALL THE WAY! I took them both to go. Thanks Larsens see you again soon“

“This place hits the sweet spot in your tummy. I was craving Mexican but not just any Mexican food. I was craving good quality Mexican food. When I have a craving for high quality authentic Mexican food I know to come here. It was 15 minutes before they were closing and I was wondering if it was yo Kate to order for pickup. They said no problem and that it would be ready in 15 mins. So my husband and I hopped literally across the street to go pick it up as soon as we had orders it. We got to sit and chat for a few since we got there early and before we knew it we had our food and were walking right back across the street to eat in the comfort of our homes. The food was delicious as we already know it to be. Our favorites we ordered were the: 7 Mares dinner (7 Seafood) (YUM!!!) Shrimp Burrito dinner (My husband's favorite) Shrimp Enchiladas dinner (YUM!!!) 4 Shrimp Tacos So good every time! It doesn't hurt that the young owners are so sweet and lovable!“

I even asked the cashier to let the owner of MGF know how angry and annoyed I was LOL. I was complaining the whole way home that I would never go back. Let me tell you something though.. My attitude completely changed when I opened up the bag of food at my house.. Holy shit. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. This food was . Like stupid good. Like so good I'm definitely going back and definitely waiting an hour if I have to (I'll place the order on the app next time in advance.) The catfish was super delicate and perfectly seasoned it was perfect... probably the best I ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the best I've ordered from anywhere in a long time. The cornbread was fire. The meal was so good my wife and I are low key planning a picnic somewhere soon, JUST so we can order the bucket of chicken that they offer so we can try that. My current message to the owner is: Your food is insanely good. 11/10 exceptional. It's still not right to make people wait an hour for it, y'all got to get a more efficient system back there because that's just crazy. The entire lobby was sitting in there waiting for there MGF orders for what seemed to be forever.. But the food was worth it and I'll be back. I'll just place my order WAY TF ahead of time. “Most amazing sea bass I have ever tasted. It was perfectly cooked. The seafood tower was very fresh. Lobster Macaroni excellent. And for desert, the cheesecake was huge. Sooooo good!!! Fixing my mistake now. ?The fish here is really spectacular, & DAFG (Dry Aged Fish Guy) is legendary. He is doing amazing things with fish & it is clear he is a master of his craft. You can tell by the meticulous, beautiful shop & the deliciousness of all of his offerings.Some of the prices miiight be a tad higher than you are used to, especially if you only buy your fish at a typical grocery store - but I promise you, there is a reason & it is justified. A lot of time, skill & care has gone into these fish, & you will absolutely taste a difference.I really can not say enough nice things about this place. Everyone who works here is nice, helpful & knowledgeable. if you don't know what you want, or what amount you need, they can help! Try any of the dry aged fish, you can't go wrong. “I went last night for my father's bday, and as usual it's still the best sushi restaurant I've been too PERIOD. I got the chance to meet one of the co-owners and had a great discussion with them! Everyone there is always kind, fast yet caring when serving any and all food and/or drinks. The food as usual is just top tier and has never not been consistently amazing each time. I URGE anyone who wants sushi to give them a call, reserve a table, and just enjoy. I can't wait to return. If anyone wants any recommendations, here are our orders (in order of when we place them). Again, this is just preference, everything is amazing. We are a party of 4 and DEFINITELY, can eat. First order: Edamame (plain, spicy, or both), shishito peppers, spicy tuna with crispy rice, extra ginger and wasabi. Second order: 1 order Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail nigiri, 2 orders of albacore(each order of nigiri usually comes in 2 pieces so keep this in mind), and a spicy tuna roll. Third order: Roasted jalapeño role, lemon role, creamy Langostino roll, albacore lovers role, and got sushi role.“
