“Hi! I saw your store for the first time today and I assumed that it had gone out of business. Lots of units in this area are closed and have the doors covered with white paper. Because of the white interior of your entry area, it looks like the doors are papered over from a short distance. It gave me the impression that the store had gone under, and likely other people as well. Just some feedback on how your store looks to potential customers. Ty“

“Very impressive Banh Mi sandwich here at Bale French Sandwiches! Their price is unbeatable, all the Banh mi are under $6.5, and their size aren’t too small. It’s like a 6 inch sandwich, perfect for one person. The sandwich has a lot of stuff inside, it’s filled with veggies and meat. I ordered a BBQ pork and a beef Banh mi, both are awesome. “I was charging my car at the charging station. Their restroom is not open public. I understand it there is a lot of expense for them to run a store. However, I just need to use the restroom real quick, but I forgot to bring my wallet. Thanksful the lady let me to use the restroom. It should be a couple running the business. The man spoke me very rude and told me, "Do you know how much rent I m paying to run the shop?" Honestly, even he did not tell me that. I will buy a drink after I get my wallet. When I got my wallet and tried to buy a drink from them. The lady said I refuse to do your business. I have no idea why they did that to me? The owners are Chinese, and I m Chinese, too. Even if I go to any store, ask for a use restroom in that situation that won't be a problem. Why Chinese cannot help Chinese? Why did they treat customers like this way? “sooo delicious! i got the roasted brown sugar series the first time i went, i got it with only 75% sugar thinking it was going to be too sweet it was really good! but today i decided i was going to go all out and got 100% sugar it was sooooo gooood not too sweet at all it’s perfectly balanced with the cheese and brown sugar brûlée, it also gives it a roasted marshmallow taste which makes the drink even tastier and the bobaa is so good! this is my favorite boba place for sure!“

“Got the watermelon green tea slush+crystal boba and the swiss cocoa/tiramisu+boba.The WGT tastes like watermelon sugar, HIGH. Very refreshing! You can taste the green tea and the watermelon in slushy form.The cacao tasted like milo, but no tiramisu flavor. Still a good drink overall.2 drinks cost 14.50 not including tip.Boba balls have good chew if you like your balls a little chewieeeee. Make sure to stir well to cool them down.“

“A local mom and pop place in one of the busy plazas of convoy, which I was not surprise. We came here after dinner next door because we wanted something sweet and a dessert to top off our meal. A lot of the ordering was sort of confusing, but we opted to pick their top choices which was advertise on a banner. We got the purple rice yogurt drink and the mango yogurt drink. The dessert comes from Taiwanese culture i believe, but the dessert itself is a blended rice mixture with yogurt based, fruit, and cream. Overall, the drink was decent, but it just missed the mark for me being a dessert after a heavy meal. I was hoping their flavors to be bolder and stand out more, but missed the mark. However; I will still keep this as an option for dessert late night because I love supporting local mom and pop stores.“

“3.5 stars. I love coming to this place to get some work done. The space is spacious and has plenty of tables. Has free wifi. Noise level quiet enough while I work on my laptop. They have a self-order station, so I don't usually talk to an employee. Iced honey black tea tastes good, no complaints whatsoever. Tried their fried tofu and could use some more seasoning or definitely needs the included sauce (ranch), but I still demolished the whole thing. Although many tables, half of them seemed wobbly and would move every time I would type or write, but there are some sturdier ones when you find the right one. The tables were clean but the bathrooms aren't. Although I didn't talk to someone to order, the times I did interact with someone was a hit or miss. Sometimes they greet you when you come in/say thank you when you take your drink.... and sometimes they don't. No worries though, I think the best part is the fact that I have another place to get some work done at.“

“The best boba shop in this town! Consistently excellent, with an incredible menu of many choices. They truly have something for everyone, and their drinks are well-balanced and genuine. None of that super sugary nonsense, but plenty sweet enough. They use real fruit in their teas, non dairy creamer in their milk teas (a win-win for me), and their toppings are always fresh. The employees are very personable, and they remember their regulars! The location is easily accessible, with lots of parking. Just try not to be too sad when they're closed on one day each week (currently Tuesdays).“

“My husband had a company party and I called the night before if there was an option to do catering for 8 people. One of the employees there answered and did her best to answer everything. I ended up getting in touch with the manager (Joyce) and she was extremely helpful. She made sure everything went smoothly. My husband's party was going to be in Encinitas but we live in Santee so Joyce said she could have everything ready in Del Mar where they have another restaurant called Xin Chao Eatery. It was super nice for them to accommodate for us and make things easier so we wouldn't have to stress about the company party. Thank you so much Joyce and Justin for being the best!! “This place is honestly great, they have the sweeter boba which I like and their drinks are really good. Their cookies you can tell are fresh made, not store bought with chemicals. It’s a hidden gem and beats a lot of the Convoy St shops with way easier parking!“

“Kung Fu has been my regular spot for boba tea for several years now. Usually easy parking, friendly staff and a large menu of tea choices. For a while you could only pay by Apple Pay or their app which I really didn't like, but they now are back to accepting other payment methods. The Thai Yea is good here as is the Winter-melon. The boba is a little chewy but you can sub it out. Good late night spot is you are in the area.“

“I ordered the Kimchi & Pork Dumplings, the Signature Potstickers, and the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup. The dumplings and potstickers were pretty bland- they didn't taste bad, they just didn't taste like much, especially when you're expecting kimchi. The Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was better, and that's what I mostly enjoyed. In terms of asian food in San Diego, I wouldn't go out of my way to go here, but it does okay if you're in the area and don't want to travel all the way to Convoy. Nothing to say about the service, since the style is mostly self-serve. Very casual place, meant for quick dining. Glad I came, but I don't think I'd come back.“

“Always super busy in Happy Lemon and there is parking in the back but also quite chaotic. Best thing to do is to park somewhere on the street and walk over. Sometimes the line goes out the door and you have to wait outside. But it all goes fairly quickly. We ordered the Wintermelon Lemonade and Jasmine Green Tea with Salted Cheese. This was the first time I had wintermelon and fell in love with it ever since. I'm not the big salted cheese fan but it’s not bad either.“

“The OO Tea inside the 99 Ranch Market on Clairemont Mesa is actually Wushiland Boba, I did not know that until my boyfriend pointed it out. This is one of his favorite boba places and his go-to is the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with boba. This tea is good, but I prefer the baby bobas that they have, called "pearls." Their price is considerably cheaper than the Wushiland at the UTC Westfield Mall, but same great quality. Now I know where to go when I want baby bobas! We ordered through doordash and our order wasn't ready at the scheduled time which is a little annoying but they were busy. A plus is that it's the closest a boba spot has been to my home! I ordered the classic Thai tea and it was pretty good. I've been here a few times now and the store is never too busy. The drinks are ready fairly quickly as well, which is great. I've noticed that they also hold a lot of events at the store. A medium bowl will bring you over the "full" line even. I don't like the indoor seating since environment is too tight and simple. You can also sit outdoors. Overall, a good poke place to try out.“
