“I went to this location on a bus tour for a new staff orientation. We took over the whole building. This place has 3-5 huge tv screens that were playing the Olympic Games, basketball, and soccer. The staff were very busy running around and serving food with a huge smile. Every staff member including the owner, Junior (who was cooking all of our food), had a huge smile on their faces and kept asking if we needed anything else. The bus tour ran late and we had to leave in a hurry. Without complaint the staff cleaned up and asked if we needed anything else. The staff encouraged us to take to-go boxes and went above and beyond in friendly, respectful, welcoming customer service. I love to support places like this and always feel respected and valued as a customer.

“I have been eating pizza here for over 30 years ever since high school. It’s cheap pizza so don’t expect some fancy cuisine. But I simply cannot live without it!

“Attention Mod pizza lovers, this is the same concept where they build a pizza in front of you, but the crust is even better because it is structured and yummy. Immediately upon stepping in, we were greeted with multiple hellos and welcome in’s- that always makes an experience better from the start! After they had put my pizza in the oven, I realized I hadn’t added the crushed garlic and I briefly mentioned it to my boyfriend next to me. The employee heard me and immediately offered to add it and insisted on it which was so kind. As for the pizza, it was delicious- I had a vegetarian pizza, the roasted broccoli topping is the best. The bathrooms were impeccable which made for an overall great experience (p.s. to the girls: there is no mirror!). One of the best parts was the design of the place, as well as the atmosphere. The tall ceiling and windows made the space roomy and “fresh”. The chill indie beachy guitar music made us feel like we were relaxing by the beach as we watched the sun set through the large windows. As for the seating, there are many option. My favorite were the booth tables because there was a comfy back rest (pictured) and were clean. Shout out to the 7pm crew for being friendly, hardworking, and overall great workers!“

“The food had always been far superior to......what word really tops amazing? Out on the road, I try as little as possible to use franchises found at home. We've made this a top choice. its always great to find places to count on when away from home.“

“We have been going to Heirloom Pizza a few times a year for a while now and have always enjoyed great food and good service. This was until last night. The food was still delicious and the server was good. That was the limit of a good experience. The hostess had a look that we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. We arrived about 7pm and they were busy, but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited for over 50 minutes to have an appetizer to reach our table and another 25 minutes for our main dish. By the time we received our appetizer the restaurant had only 5-6 tables with people still sitting. We understand that it takes a little longer for a deep dish pizza, but well over an hour in unacceptable. In the 50 minutes we saw no less than a dozen or so orders go out the door for pickup orders. I understand they sell pizza and there is likely a large amount of business that doesn't come an stay to eat, but we felt forgotten. If we choose to go back, maybe we should order before arriving.“

“I come get a slice here often. It’s unfortunate that the price has gone up so much in recent years but I guess that’s true of most places. When slices were $1.50 it was a great deal. Now it’s just about average. The pizza isn’t the best, but it’s consistent and it will satisfy that craving you have for a slice. I like that you can get just a slice or two if you want. The dining area is usually quiet, with plenty of seating for just yourself or you and a couple friends. They have some games for the kids. I like that you get the sweet smell of the breads being baked at the panaderia next door. Parking is usually no problem. The staff is friendly.“

“The son of the owner was managing the place when I went. He was friendly and he was amenable to correcting my order after I submitted it.
The wings are yum, I recommend. The pizza is also tasty; I would prefer that they add less dressing on pizza and maybe more spice.
I hope they continue to do well (they opened just 4 months ago).“

“The customer service is excellent and their pizza is on point. It is family oriented environment. They support schools, kids fundraisers, Supported Japanese student club and our local Salinas high students were able to go to Japan. I recommend coming here. I always keep one thing in mind we don't live in a perfect world doesn' mean that Mountain Mike is a bad place to come. On another note they have earned the Monterey County Health Department Gold Seal“

“We took a chance and ordered from Piara because the Round Table just down a few stores wanted over 60$ for two pizzas, so we got great deal at Piara and the lady was super nice, and threw in some bread sticks. The pizza turned out to be hella bomb, delicious. We were very impressed and will definitely go back for more!!! Loved it!!!!“
