“We have been going to Heirloom Pizza a few times a year for a while now and have always enjoyed great food and good service. This was until last night. The food was still delicious and the server was good. That was the limit of a good experience. The hostess had a look that we were bothering her by wanting to eat there. We arrived about 7pm and they were busy, but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. We ordered fairly quickly and then waited for over 50 minutes to have an appetizer to reach our table and another 25 minutes for our main dish. By the time we received our appetizer the restaurant had only 5-6 tables with people still sitting. We understand that it takes a little longer for a deep dish pizza, but well over an hour in unacceptable. In the 50 minutes we saw no less than a dozen or so orders go out the door for pickup orders. I understand they sell pizza and there is likely a large amount of business that doesn't come an stay to eat, but we felt forgotten. If we choose to go back, maybe we should order before arriving.“

“This place is consistently good. Everything is freshly made, the staff are friendly and work quickly to get the product out to customers. Prices are very reasonable and everything is fresh. Is it the best pizza around? No. But when you're in a hurry it's good enough. Hard to go wrong here.“

“I come get a slice here often. It’s unfortunate that the price has gone up so much in recent years but I guess that’s true of most places. When slices were $1.50 it was a great deal. Now it’s just about average. The pizza isn’t the best, but it’s consistent and it will satisfy that craving you have for a slice. I like that you can get just a slice or two if you want. The dining area is usually quiet, with plenty of seating for just yourself or you and a couple friends. They have some games for the kids. I like that you get the sweet smell of the breads being baked at the panaderia next door. Parking is usually no problem. The staff is friendly.“

“No other pizza at home can beat this. WAY better than frozen grocery store pizzas…more toppings, more evenly distributed, and better flavor, for sure. And you can’t get an already cooked pizza and bring it home and eat it hot unless you eat when you take your hat off right when you get home. With these folks pizzas, you get to eat it hot and fresh from the oven. Great ingredients, evenly distributed, and plenty of them. Once you have Papa M’s pizza’s, no other “eat at home” pizza will tow the line!“

“The son of the owner was managing the place when I went. He was friendly and he was amenable to correcting my order after I submitted it.
The wings are yum, I recommend. The pizza is also tasty; I would prefer that they add less dressing on pizza and maybe more spice.
I hope they continue to do well (they opened just 4 months ago).“

“The customer service is excellent and their pizza is on point. It is family oriented environment. They support schools, kids fundraisers, Supported Japanese student club and our local Salinas high students were able to go to Japan. I recommend coming here. I always keep one thing in mind we don't live in a perfect world doesn' mean that Mountain Mike is a bad place to come. On another note they have earned the Monterey County Health Department Gold Seal“

Couple that with an amazing service and that it's owned and operated by a navy veteran that prides himself on perfecting his craft and you have the perfect recipe for a fun night for the family! “I grew up on the last honest pizza. I moved from CA in 1988. every time I travel back To CA, it's the first thing I eat when I land and the last thing I eat before I leave. I hope that they would expand to the south. preferably Charleston S.C.“

“Hey the food is good here. What I noticed in this resturant most of the time is the people that order would sometimes curse and commit property damage in this resturant they are probably the ones that rate negative and come to dumb assumptions It leaves the workers with a stressed emotion and makes the resturant look bad when it's not these customers be overreacting for food like children. I have seen the patterns the workers have a sink near the kitchen and they always come out of the restroom with washed hands, I seen the mechanic guy go outside and inside the kitchen I decided to check if he was indeed helping them and I saw him just go to the hallway working on some machines I even asked the manager if the mechanic guy helps she said no he is seperated from us he does his own things we do the resturant he only does construction on the resturant and movements to make the resturant look clean and new he sometimes goes to the kitchen to talk about his work for that day to the manager i think they all get along with each other. And I sometimes see they struggle when it's busy and stay a bit behind I think the problem are the customers most of the time. The floor is dirty but atleast they sometimes change the floors, repaint it or change the patterns even the roofs and move the arcade machines and bring new ones it's awesome. And I have not seen 1 rat in the bushes for a year I think many customers are coming out with dumb racial, religious and hygines assumptions. I think just the little problem is the pace of the pizzas and sometimes the mistakes of topins but other then that amazing.“

“This is a hidden jem. A must try. The food was absolutely incredibly delicious! We had the Bouillanese, the Shrimp pasta special and the Apple dessert. Will be back again to try everything else on the menu. The food looked so good I forgot to take a picture to share. This Pic was our view from our seats. Highly recommend. Give them some love.“
