“As a devoted food lover, Dirt Dog- Gardena, is a Southern California experience worth savoring. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a striking large wall mural of the Legends of West Coast Hip Hop, adding to the laid-back vibe that California is known for.The menu boasts a tantalizing array of options, from bacon wrapped hot dogs to birria tacos to fried Oreos! But when in doubt, you simply can't go wrong with a classic dirty dog and a side of filthy fries. Each bite is a flavor explosion that leaves you craving more.Refreshing beer on tap perfectly complements the bold flavors of the food and adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.Overall, Dirt Dog in Gardena is a must-visit destination for any food lover in Los Angeles. With its inviting atmosphere, delicious food, and refreshing drinks, it's the perfect spot to indulge in a taste of the West Coast.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
“I love the vegetarian tacos here! Especially the calabacitas, frijoles y queso, nopales and the quesadilla! The corn tortillas are so fresh and taste great. I recommend the Jamaica to drink, it's authentic and not too sweet (def not the premixed kind full of sugar).“
“Enjoyed a relaxing outdoor brunch at this popular Mexican restaurant in the Torrance Hollywood Riviera. We picked a nice corner spot with partial shield under the umbrella. It’s a dog friendly restaurant but we wanted to be away from others with our young puppy. The food came fairly quickly, we highly recommend the Octopus Ceviche if you like octopus. I had the Wednesday Burrito special, and my wife had two tacos specials with Asadas. Both were delicious. Our server, Anthony, was prompt and friendly, multiple other servers stopped by multiple times made you feel welcome and made sure we have what we needed.Parking: Parking: a bit of hit and miss in this popular district, once you find a street parking spot, I recommend using the QR code and pay electronically, it’s relatively painless. Another person tried to mess with the meter and sometimes the screen is hard to read, especially under the sun.“
“If you’re ever in the Southbay in LA do yourself a favor and source this seafood gem. It’s ALWAYS busy and I don’t like waiting in line but I will here. The benefit of seafood being fresh is because they sell enough that it’s always excellent. There providers must love the account and take good care of them.Okay, ceviche is a must do with tostada chips, avocado and a slew of hot sauces and a self serve salsa station that also offers marinated white onion ribbons and wonderful whole roasted yellow chiles dusted with a red tangy red spice.Tacos come with a variety of seafood options, I suggest the battered fish as a beginning test since you will come back for them anytime you go again, just trust this.Prices are reasonable and the staff are very happy, why not, everyone eating there are friggin happy too. Parking can be a buzzkill but you’ll figure it out.“
“Amazing tacos, esp. the Baja fish and turkey carnitas!Attentive service -- they always ask the preferred level of hotness.Definitely a take-out place -- the 2 tables outside are kinda perfunctory...The only issue is they are no longer opened for dinner!“
“After running an errand in the area, G's popped up on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of parking, G's was not hard to find. Upon entering, it was plenty busy for 11am on a rainy day (a good sign.) I was pleasantly surprised they offered $1.25 tacos for Taco Tuesday ! In addition, they offer this special on Thursdays and Sundays! I ordered two asada and two al pastor tacos. After ordering, I helped myself to the salsa/condiment bar which had many of the usual suspects (red, green and an avo salsa along with limes.) The tacos came out freshly cooked and were served on heated yellow corn tortillas. The meats were well seasoned and topped with onions, cilantro and red sauce. I've been on a taco crawl all over LA the past few years and these rival some of the best around. While scarfing down my tacos, I was looking over the handwritten whiteboard menu and noticed that they offered complimentary consome. How awesome is that?! This along with the fact I skipped dinner the night before prompted me to order two birria tacos which along with the consome totally hit the spot . Safe to say I will be returning again and again!“
“I ordered fish and chips. The fish was beautifully fried. However, it was 3/4 batter 1/4 fish. All of the other entrees were good. The staff was attentive the food was was served fresh.Vegetarian options: Nice selection of meatless side dishes the brussel sprouts were quie tasty“
“This was my first time trying this place. I decided to try their quesabirria with consume. To me it was sure good i enjoyed every bite of it with red salsa and lemon squeezed in my broth and sure did the dip on the quesabirria. Very crunchy was just good. Sure will be going to visit in person.“
“First time eating here was delicious ? great ? taste ? on my food tostadas de camarón ? where fire ?.. my boyfriend fish ? tacos ? where fire ? as well .. my shrimp ? cocktail ? was tasty ?… I would definitely recommend it .. there’s plenty of parking ?️ the agua fresca de jamaica so yummy ?…“
“Shore Grille offers a delightful dining experience with their nice, hot, juicy burgers that are sure to satisfy any burger lover. The waffle fries are fresh with just the right amount of crispiness, making them the perfect side. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for enjoying a meal. One exciting addition is their new cocktail menu, which adds a fun twist to your dining experience. However, during my visit, the service was a bit slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Despite this, our waiter was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, Shore Grille is a great spot for a tasty burger and a relaxed dining experience.“
“I stopped by this evening with my sister in law after a Dr. Appt down the street when putting gas I could smell the cooking. I ordered 3 tacos and champurado basic of asada my sister n law ordered 2 de tripas and 1 lengua and a large jaimica. Wow the food was really really delicious like it was made from your home kitchen very tasteful. The service was very fast and they were polite and helpful. I am definitely coming back even though I'm about 30 min away it's worth it. They are located on Redondo and Vermount Gardena.“
“Great, quick spot for Mexican food in Hermosa Beach! Got the Asada Nachos for only $11.50. The nachos came with plenty of meat, cheese, guacamole, and salsa. Some of the best nachos I've had in awhile and for a price you can't beat!“
“Finally tried this spot out a few months back and it's now a 3-4 visits/month kinda place for us. Food is fresh, hot, not greasy, and not over salted. Love their fresh corn tortillas, portions are solid, salsas are on point, and service is friendly and efficient!“
“Wow! Sunday live music 12-3 PM. Delicious mole sampler and pozole hit the spot! Great atmosphere! Attentive staff! It was even more special as it was Dia de Los Muertos season and they had a beautiful ofrenda display. This restaurant I will recommend to friends visiting L.A. A+ all around.“
“Their fried fish tacos are 10/10. The batter is perfect and it comes with avo, radish, and pickled carrots and cucumbers. I think it's better than Ensenada's on Artesia, and that place is already sets the bar high for me. Worth a visit and don't forget to give the fruta lady down the street some love too.“
“This was my first time trying this place. I decided to try their quesabirria with consume. To me it was sure good i enjoyed every bite of it with red salsa and lemon squeezed in my broth and sure did the dip on the quesabirria. Very crunchy was just good. Sure will be going to visit in person.“
“Nice local place good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Great place to watch the games. The staff is very friendly. I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla that was very good. They have a private room for parties of business you can book. Great place to hangout and meet the locals.“
“Just found out about this place and decided to test it out.Located in a strip mall along side other restaurants.Plenty of free self parking. There's outside shades tables. Inside there's plenty of seating. Looks clean. Staff is friendly.I ordered takeout and my order was ready and hot.Got the fish and chips with diced zucchini and Rosemary seasoned tomato and feta.Very large portions that filled me up. Good flavor. A bit too much batter on the fish imo.Came with two servings of tartar sauce. Will be going back again.“
“Stopped in the area for a quick bite. I ordered 3 carne asada street tacos with onions & cilantro. The order process was quick since there wasn't anyone but a couple sitting in the place. It took roughly 4 minutes for me to get my tacos. It was really quick. I'd give the tacos 4/5. They satisfied my want for street tacos although the meat seemed a little dry. However, they did give me chips and the stuff that comes with birria, so eating the tacos with that was good! The ambiance was very casual. It looked cleaned in the restaurant and the bathrooms were also clean. I would come back here again if no other place was open to eat.“
“From first to the last bite is so good. I've been looking for a place that serves biria tacos with consomme and not just a place but the one that is not disappointing. And as I was passing by hermosa I saw their sign. And it was as good as they advertise “
“Food was superb, fresh and made to order. When I first walked in there was someone's abuelita sitting at the table doing needle point. She spoke and smiled so big and sweet. I felt like home right then. The gentleman and other female worker were both kind and beyond nice. I felt some welcomed. It's clean and has plenty of space to dine in. We ordered to go and it was delicious. 3 bucks for a quality pupusa I'm in.“
“My coworkers had recommended this place after watching a Netflix documentary and let me tell you the story behind the restaurant is very heart warming. The food on the other is belly warming. If you come here the must is the carnitas tacos. Duh, simply the meat very tender and not fatty and the portions are big. I had two tacos and you can definitely make 4 with them and double it. The winner on the other hand I would say is the mafita. Pure hot cheesy mixed meat goodness. It's a giant carnitas taco with mixed meat with cheese. I don't think there's anything else I can say about this place. The other reviews speak for themselves but do watch the special about this place before you go. I definitely will recommended and come back to this place.“
“It's rather amusing that I worked about 10 minutes away from Top Shelf for 19 years and it wasn't until I retired a few years back that I finally made it here. I was across the street at Scottsdale quite often to visit the parents of "challenging" students but never realized a gastronomic paradise was waiting across the street. Man oh man, I had been missing out. I ordered the Al Pastor burrito wet and let me tell you, it was delicious. Not a huge burrito but a generous amount of food. The sauce was flavorful and I appreciated the fact it had just the right amount of salt unlike the majority of the other places I've frequented lately. It was the best burrito I've had in ages. My wife's protein bowl with shrimp met with her satisfaction and happily had a decent quantity of shrimp unlike many other Mexican restaurants we've gone to recently. I ordered the strawberries and cream dessert but was too full to eat it so it will have to wait until later. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. No complaints about service whatsoever. The shopping center has more than enough parking so that isn't an issue. I'm not sure I would visit at night unless you feel safe going into an area with its fair share of troublemakers in the area after dark though. Top Shelf turned out to be just as advertised. I only wish I had tried them much further back in time. I would have made better use of the time I had when I was working in the area.“
“What a fantastic Yelp find! La Taqueria Brand is well-deserving of their 4.5 stars!! First of all this place is very clean and has a nice indoor eating area and a nice outdoor eating area. You can come inside and order, order from the outside window or go through the drive-up window. They have an amazing salsa bar with avocado salsa, raw salsa, fire roasted tomatillo, habanero salsa, pickled jalapeños, cucumbers, pinto beans, grilled jalapeños and grilled onions - and all were excellent. On to the food. All the food that we had here was spectacular! The lady taking our order recommended the Canajillo Shrimp Burrito ($13.99) which is a hot flour tortilla, wonderfully seasoned Mexican rice, shredded white cheese, cabbage, pick de gallo, cilantro crema & smoked adobo mustard dressing - and it was out of this world! My girlfriend got the Lt Plato ($10.99) which was your choice of protein (she got asada), rice, refried beans, lettuce, pico de gallo & crema - and it too was spectacular! I couldn't resist the homemade Horchata ($5.50) which was one of the best I've ever had. She also gave us a Micheagus ($7.00) drink which was amazing. We also got their homemade Churros ($7.50) They were soft and donut like inside and crispy outside...and these actually were the best churros I have ever had - and I don't say that lightly, they were legit the best I've EVER had! I can't believe how good this entire meal was! I had to do this review right away because I do t want forget this place next time I'm in Wilmington. Well done La Taqueria Brand - we will definitely be back!! I really want to try their Birria Ramen ($13.99) which looks like a very innovative crossover.“
“This place has the best carne asada street tacos I've ever had. The meat has so mich flavor its amazing not like the taco trucks with no flavor and you have to drench it with salsa. The meat also doesnt have alot of fat and bones etc which id important to me. Also they have really good fresh pineapple juice omg. I don't really like going there because there's always people sitting in their cars playing music smoking and hanging out and it's like going to tj..kinda shady for a white girl lol but the food Is amazing. Nachos are good too:)“
“It's hard to find carnitas that are actually made good, but this spot has the good carnitas, the meat is perfect (not dry) and the cueritos make it even better! Definitely a must try place and is the best I carnitas place I've tried!!“
“I am prefacing this review by stating the I just stopped by here for a quick drink (no food) as I was checking out the The Point, the shopping a mall that contains Lil' Simmzy's.I at first did not realize they actually serve some of their own beers, but once I saw that I went with their Hazy IPA option. Along with that I also got a cocktail, the Paloma. The beer was pretty good, standard along with most the other Hazy IPA's that I've had. I'll say that this one was a little less hoppy than others I've had. The Paloma was one of the better ones I have tasted. It's made with mezcal instead of the usual tequila, so you can taste that "smokey" difference which I find people either enjoy or don't. I like the ancho salt rim on the drink, both for taste & look.Service was pretty good and the place has a relaxed beachy vibe and nice overall feel. I think it's all outside seating which is fitting for the overall vibe and works well for being in the The Point. Ordered at the counter and self seated. I'd come here again to sip on a drink while I take a break from shopping. The only one, somewhat larger, somewhat understandable downfall was the amount of dust at the table. When I grabbed a napkin, I noticed how dirty my hands got just from touching it due to the amount of dust/dirt in general at the table since it's outside seating.Cheers!“
“My wife and I come here at least once a month. My favorite is the California burrito with asada or pastor. My wife likes the asada burrito and the torta. My second favorites are the tacos and I like the pastor best. We have been coming to this location for over a year and the portions are good and consistent.“
“I came in earlier today , never heard about this place saw it was close by work so I stopped by and got a 5oz patty burger , beef, and made that a combo, came with fries and I told bro what flavor I should get and he said he mixes the red and purple one so I’m like give it to me, best look aid I tasted I no years! Even gave me a free ranch and also I was gonna get cheese but saw it was 1.50 I’m like nvm don’t want cheese and bro still gave it to me , I will be back for the double 5oz patty cheese burger“
“I've been eating at this place since they first opened last year & they haven't failed to satisfy my taste buds! The chilaquiles are authentic & very good (with a great portion size)! First time trying the asada fries & I'll be honest.. its good but nothing like crazy crazy good.. definitely passes though (1-10 i'd say a solid 7) . The chilaquiles here tho are top tier!! I've also had their mix marlin/shrimp burrito & thats fire asf (solid 9 imo). The agua frescas here are valid too! Very Refreshing! Inside the store its very chill & the artwork makes it even more authentic Overall this store you should definitely try a couple times & see what you'll dig as theres many things to choose from! “
“Just do yourself a favor and taste for yourself. The handmade tortillas are amazing and I'd say the tacos here are full of flavor. Maybe the bad/mediocre reviews are from people who over salt all their meals? The al pastor and asada are spot on every time I come here.“
“Solid taco vendor in the valley! The lines gets long but it moves fast. They give you a hefty portion of meat in each taco. The food is good quality. I had the pollo, el pastor and carne asada and the el pastor was my favorite. They also do $1 tacos on Tuesdays. The salsas were very good as well and they have a salsa station set up where you can load up on salsas, onions etc. Overall one of the best taco trucks I have had.“
“I always get the breaded shrimp plate which is so so good Tortas are also good. I recently tried sopes and tacos and I was disappointed. I didn't like the carne asada or the chicken. I will still continue to go for the things I like. Also the people that work there are nice and friendly.“
“First time eating off this truck but came highly recommended. I ordered an al pastor burrito and a horchata. The horchata was sweet and cinnamony like I like it and the burrito took me back to mexico. The guys working the truck were friendly as well. An A+ experience. Thanks“
“Been coming to this place for over 10 years and always for the breakfast burritos. It’s a hit or miss depending on who’s the cook but overall best burritos in the area. I called in ahead by the time I got there food was hit and ready. The cashier is a young girl she’s nice and friendly offers good service. They have other food like hamburgers and pancakes. Would definitely recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner.Parking: Parking can be difficult to find during peak hours, but you can also find parking in the street along Normandie AveWheelchair accessibility: It’s wheel chair accessible you just need someone to help you open the door to get in“
“First time here. The food was delicious. We order the shrimp quesadilla, side of fries and the beer battered shrimp tacos. It was really good and the costumer service was also wonderful. We are definitely coming back and recommending this place “
“Love this taco truck. The food is too good and not to mention they're always open late night until like 1am which is a plus for me after a drunken night ? they're affordable and not stingy with the portions so you'll definitely get your moneys worth“
“This place is worth it the birria was really good it's kind of pricey but hey what isn't these days... I recommend it to anyone who loves real birria. They have everything you can think of and I'm in the Torrance area and I'm so glad I found this place“
“Whenever we are in San Pedro, Los Angeles, we try to stop at Brite Spot for lunch or dinner. My grandson loves Mexican food and this place is his favorite in the area. It is real Mexican food, so if you are looking to diet this is not the place for you. The place is just so adorable. It is all decorated in sort of a Ranchero theme and you will hear Spanish music from the juke box. They have a great counter and super booths. They also have out door seating and I think live music out there now and again. The atmosphere is just the best. The customers are all nice and the staff is great. Your food will come hot and as ordered. They even have glass bottles of Coke from Mexico. Their food is comforting and filling. We love their enchiladas and tacos. They have great fish dishes, mostly fresh, and wow, their guacamole is fabulous. Parking is free and easy on the street. It is never too crowded. You will love this place.“
“Quick service, clean restaurant and respectful staff ?Vegetarian options: Have the new taste like meat but made with vegetables optionsKid-friendliness: Clean floors no stepsParking: More than enough parking all aroundWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and the whole parking lot is flush with the inside of the restaurant“
