“This was a surprise birthday gift from my hubby to me. Being diabetic, it's been really hard to get a birthday cake for me. He drove an hour there and an hour and a half back just to surprise me. He bought me a banana bread and a vanilla cake with strawberry The banana bread was a little dry but the taste was still good. It was a little more solid than we were used to. The birthday cake was fantastic. It was moist and soft and the cream was delicious!!! There was a layer of strawberry jam in it. And I can't stop saying how delicious thay was. I wasn't personally there at the bakery so I cannot comment on service and ambiance.“

“We first discovered this place in San Diego and now we go here for breakfast every time we get the chance. We love eggs Benedict and they have some original twists on it, and even an option to get two smaller portions of different varieties which is what we like to do. The kids loved the French toast and their hot chocolate is excellent. We don’t drink coffee or alcohol so I can’t comment on that but we try the hot chocolate every where we go and theirs is so good, especially with the cinnamon they add. I don’t think you’d go wrong with any of their menu items.“
“Wow! This little gem in Lake Forest. We were running errands and it was cold and cloud day so we pulled into this cozy Italian restaurant! We were greeted by Zachary. He was incredible! He has THE BEST customer service. I knew I was going to leave a 5 star review before we even ordered. My husband wanted a Bloody Mary but can't handled spicy ones. Zachary offered to bring a sample of the base and the bartender even came over to chat about it. Btw if you like a little spice in your bloody, order it! It had the best flavor and was handmade. The food was amazing, the restaurant was clean and charming and Zachary was just so good at his job! We stayed way longer than we normally would because it was so comfortable and a place where you just want to take your time. We will absolutely will be back and look forward to another perfect experience! Portions were generous, the pizza was so good, as well as the pasta fazool, amazing! “My wife and i visit Mamón periodically, and every time we do, we wonder why we don't visit more often. They have a very unique menu, with food that is so much more flavorful than most. On my most recent visit I ordered the Gracias, Pavo sandwich, which is a seasonal item. I got it with a gluten-free wrap instead of the toasted Francese bread. The wrap itself was very good, but it was the turkey, pickled onion and roasted sweet potatoes that made it so tasty. I asked for the Serrano pepper mayo on the side. Just a drop with every bite was enough for me, and added great flavor. The sandwich was big enough for me to save half for later. The restaurant features counter service, and the person who took our order was very friendly and helpful. They feature some great specialty beers, but one of my favorite things is you get to take a whole carafe of water to your table. For a "heavy drinker" like myself, this is a very welcome convenience.My wife and I swore we would return soon - this time for sure!“
“A co-worker brought me a CARROT CAKE BUNDT CAKE.The REVIEW:-- big carrot sniff-- cream cheese frosting runs down the sides of the cake from the top-- no raisins (thank you!)-- no walnuts is sad, but since it's a bundt they are not expected-- frosting is very sweet-- cake is quite moist but not ultra-moist-- cake itself is light towards medium sweet-- I split it in half and ate two different mornings with coffee since pretty sweet overall-- maybe because it is a bundt, but I prefer actual carrot cakes which are often more moist than this plus they often have walnuts-- carrot strands/shavings were present inside the cakeRATING = B+“
“My last review was so many years ago! We continue to love Lolas, we go almost every Sunday. They have so many vegan and vegetarian options. I love that they got rid of the plates and are back to serving food on the wood boards. My old favorite mixed berry flatbread wasn't as great a month or so ago, maybe because it wasn't berry seasons, but the Sunrise Flatbread is my new obsession. It is so good, just wish I could order it ahead on the clover app - there is some glitch that makes it requires to add 5 items on the flatbread in order to add it to your cart.“
“Butter+Cream Bakery made the most incredible wedding cake and desserts my wife and I have ever had! Our wedding cake was gluten-free due to my wife's allergy and it was so good that when we told people after the fact they legitimately did not believe us because Nataly's talent is so good that her gluten-free cake is still even better than anyone else's regular cake! We also had small fruit tarts, 3 flavors of macarons, & 3 types of cupcakes with amazing flower frosting on top. Each as incredible as the previous! We seriously can not recommend this place enough as it will be the best sweets you have ever had! Thank you Nataly for making our special night even more perfect!“

“I have done enough fine dining in my life to take it for granted. I also own two businesses in food service and can often look at an item and know whether it was purchased from US Foods, Sysco, or Restaurant Depot. There are plenty of restaurants that serve frozen entrees, and the chef opens packaging and reads the prep label before plating it. Not here. Not at PF Chang’s. Their chef has real talent and the “back” (kitchen staff) do an extraordinary job…we have never been served a bad meal (and I’m a particular eater). They are consistently good, which isn’t as simple as it may seem.But today I am taking time to write a review because the service was so spectacular. It’s my youngest daughter’s 28th birthday and Michelle (our server) literally made it perfect. She was fast, accurate, predictive, professional and was neither hovering or out-of-sight. But in addition to providing superbly attentive service, it was her manner that made the difference. Truth be told…it had been a brutal day and we almost cancelled dinner because nobody was feeling “up for it.” We all suggested rescheduling (not one of us wanted to go) but it seemed kinda obligatory and so we dragged ourselves here. Thank God we did. Michelle’s bubbly personality lifted us all up out of our funk and before long we were all giggling and thoroughly enjoying ourselves…even Michelle seemed to be having fun. This girl fixed a horrible day and all it took was a genuine desire to please and the well-honed server skills only a restaurant veteran can appreciate. Michelle is a rare gem…she’s got the X Factor.The manager at PF Chang’s hires very well. His staff (both front & back) provided us an exemplary dining experience that is worthy of 10 stars. Do yourself a favor, go dine at PF Chang’s, play with items on the menu you never tried before and yeah…try some of the bartender’s specialty libations. Do it on a day when you’re down and stressed and need some simple Asian attitude therapy. The staff at PF Chang’s sets the customer care bar so high…other restaurant workers need to charter a plane just to see it. Tell em Bruce set you. You can thank me later. “Good place to grab a burger. I was a little overwhelmed with all of the options on the menu at first, but the cashier was helpful and helped to guide me. I went with the Original Burger Boss burger with mushrooms and avocado. You can definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients like the meat, the bun, avocado, and mushrooms. The burger patty was mostly all lean and seasoned well. I also liked the fries, and I tried the mint lemonade. There are several locations, so I'd be open to checking out another location. I recommend Burger Boss if you're feeling like having a fresh burger!“
