“Sleepy Seal is such a gem of a coffee shop – cozy, warm, and full of character. The space has an artistic touch that makes it feel unique and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. I tried the oat milk latte, and it was absolutely amazing – smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. A great spot to relax with good coffee and good vibes.“

“Serendipitously, I saw information about this place when I was randomly scrolling online.
The food was excellent. I ordered two items to go, the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. (I should have taken pictures because the items were beautifully presented in addition to being delicious! 🤓)
Beautiful atmosphere. The decor is inviting. Very clean.
It fulfilled and then exceeded my expectations.“

“Found this little treasure a year ago. I have been back over and over. The service is amazing and the coffee is delicious and always so pretty! The parking is small, but you can easily find parking across the street. Trust me the treat is worth it! 🥰“

“I absolutely love Tot Coffee. Their blueberry cream matcha with oat milk is my favorite drink. It started as a seasonal item but might be on their menu permanently now. My coworker loves the Blue’s Clues signature latte, which has blueberry purée, peppermint, milk, and espresso, and my other coworker switches between the pour-over coffee and cappuccino.
I also love their pastries, especially the spinach pastry, baguette with jam, croissant, and pain au chocolat. Everything we have tried has been delicious.
You can tell the owner is very mindful, which makes for a consistently pleasant experience every time we visit. The drinks don’t change depending on who makes them, and I find comfort in that consistency. I love the café’s minimal but mindful aesthetic. I could sit there all day to work, read, or meet with friends or clients.
The café has a mellow and inviting vibe. They also host the No Bounds Run Club, which is very inclusive for both slower runners like me and faster runners. There is a group that runs 2.5 miles and another that runs 4.5 miles. They meet every Saturday at 7 a.m., and afterwards you get a password for a discount at the coffee shop. You don’t need to sign up, you can just show up. I’m not a consistent runner, but the No Bounds Run Club has made me more consistent because I love the reward of a yummy drink after the run, and I love that someone will walk with me without judgment if I don’t feel like running the whole time.
I love that Tot Coffee is not just a coffee shop but also building a community.“

“Tried this place just yesterday. The cafe was nice and cozy, and everything looked delicious, though unfortunately everything was also very expensive / overpriced. I had the cinnamon roll bread, the honey toast, and the cheese & ham toast, and all were very tasty. The service was amazing; the cashier / barista who helped us out was really friendly and helpful with explaining things. I probably won't go back though because of the incredibly high prices.“

“Micah was my barista who was very knowledgeable about the espresso machine and the coffee beans used in the process of the French Toast Latte.“
“We really enjoyed our coffee and breakfast options at Meravalley Coffee Roasters. We were vacationing near by and came back each morning to enjoy a latte and homemade yogurt/granola parfait. The service was excellent and the coffee/food had great taste/flavor. And we sat at the window seat and enjoyed the beautiful views. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!“

“Loved the professional friendly attitude of the baristas. 😃“
“From the moment I walked into Kaffeine Coffee Bar in Redondo Beach, I knew I’d found a new favorite spot. The aroma of freshly roasted beans hits you the second you step in, and the space has that perfect balance of cozy and modern that makes you want to stay awhile.
I started with an espresso, rich, balanced, and perfectly pulled, and followed it with their cold brew, which was smooth, bold, and had zero bitterness. You can tell the baristas here really care about the craft. And the pastries? Absolutely fantastic. They’re from Sweet Wheat, one of my favorites, and you can taste the difference: buttery, fresh, and just the right sweetness.
The atmosphere is relaxed but elevated: lots of natural light, comfortable seating, and a friendly staff that knows how to keep things moving while still making you feel welcome. It’s a great spot whether you’re meeting someone, catching up on emails, or just enjoying a quiet morning.
What stood out most is that everything here feels intentional. The quality of the beans, the presentation, even the playlist in the background. Kaffeine doesn’t try too hard; it just delivers excellent coffee, amazing pastries, and a neighborhood vibe that keeps you coming back.
If you’re in or around Redondo Beach and love good coffee, this place deserves a permanent spot on your rotation. Five stars all the way.“

“Went to have breakfast at a delightful little spot tucked at the end of Redondo Pier and I must say--it's got character in spades. Think less Santa Monica gloss, more laid-back local soul. The view? Not your typical postcard-perfect ocean vista, but something far better: a slice of real pier life, complete with fishermen, families, and the gentle chaos of locals doing their thing. It's the kind of scene that feels more like a well-loved episode of The OC than a tourist trap (so if you want an unobstructed, post card view of the ocean, this is not for you).
The interior is adorably cozy, the vibe is warm, and the staff? Absolute rockstars--hardworking, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We got the Chef's Breakfast and the Shrimp Fajitas, and let me tell you: the portions are not for the faint of stomach. You'll walk out blissfully stuffed, possibly looking like you smuggled a watermelon under your shirt.
Oh, and the coffee--surprisingly good. None of that bitter afterthought you find at other breakfast joints.
Would I come back? In a heartbeat--and I'm dragging friends and family with me to soak in the local flavor.

Bonus points: they also run the bait shop next door. So if you're feeling adventurous (or just want to cosplay as a local), you can rent gear and get tips straight from the pros. Breakfast and a fishing tale? Yes, please.“
“Not very friendly, but we were in very early . I owned a restaurant for 15 years and can relate to the first ones while you are setting up is stressful. There is no food to rate to early for that kitchen wasn't open yet but it smelled good. Beer was very good ?.“
“Please do not go to the address listed on Google Maps or waste your time calling the associated phone number! I Repeat! If you paid for tix, ensure you get an appropriate email or text from the establishment or DM the Instagram account in advance until you find out the actual location... I unfortunately did not get any proper notice of where this was leading me to disturb an angry woman in a residential neighborhood. I was thus late and made others wait for me because I had to figure out where to go through sending Instagram DMs.
Otherwise, it is was a unique Coffee Omakase experience done with good intentions. Feel your hands cradle the ceramic and glass. Savor the aroma and flavor.“

“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.
Jade Snow has been a fantastic place for me to stop by, get tasty / healthy nutrition, and refresh on my cycling route.“

“Niko’s Donuts has been a longtime favorite, and it’s incredible to see it still thriving after Niko’s tragic passing from cancer. His warmth and dedication live on in every detail—from the friendly service to the consistently great donuts. The classic glazed and old-fashioned are always spot on. It’s clear the family is honoring his legacy, and it makes supporting this place all the more meaningful.“
