“Very good coffee. Wouldn’t say it’s like most other coffees I’ve tried. The flavor wasn’t as distinct to what I imagine a cinnamon roll would be, but it still was a great sip throughout. Great interior too. And the staff that took and made my order was clearly a bit tired or lower energy at first. I didn’t take any offense as it looked like she was a little overworked, but grace and blessings to her. She deserves a good tip every time for making great drinks all around.“

“Great, truly great pourovers. I had the “Big City” and my wife had an Ethiopian, and both were excellent.

Parking is tough. We went around 8am on a Saturday morning so we got the last parking spot.

I bet locals just walk there but we were coming from the airport.“

The food was excellent. I ordered two items to go, the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. (I should have taken pictures because the items were beautifully presented in addition to being delicious! 🤓)

“I absolutely love Tot Coffee. Their blueberry cream matcha with oat milk is my favorite drink. It started as a seasonal item but might be on their menu permanently now. My coworker loves the Blue’s Clues signature latte, which has blueberry purée, peppermint, milk, and espresso, and my other coworker switches between the pour-over coffee and cappuccino.

I also love their pastries, especially the spinach pastry, baguette with jam, croissant, and pain au chocolat. Everything we have tried has been delicious.

You can tell the owner is very mindful, which makes for a consistently pleasant experience every time we visit. The drinks don’t change depending on who makes them, and I find comfort in that consistency. I love the café’s minimal but mindful aesthetic. I could sit there all day to work, read, or meet with friends or clients.

The café has a mellow and inviting vibe. They also host the No Bounds Run Club, which is very inclusive for both slower runners like me and faster runners. There is a group that runs 2.5 miles and another that runs 4.5 miles. They meet every Saturday at 7 a.m., and afterwards you get a password for a discount at the coffee shop. You don’t need to sign up, you can just show up. I’m not a consistent runner, but the No Bounds Run Club has made me more consistent because I love the reward of a yummy drink after the run, and I love that someone will walk with me without judgment if I don’t feel like running the whole time.

“We really enjoyed our coffee and breakfast options at Meravalley Coffee Roasters. We were vacationing near by and came back each morning to enjoy a latte and homemade yogurt/granola parfait. The service was excellent and the coffee/food had great taste/flavor. And we sat at the window seat and enjoyed the beautiful views. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!“

“I got their spicy garlic mussels and the mussels were not only cleaned really well but we're also very tasty with a nice spicy kick to it and 2 pieces of garlic bread. My mom got the tilapia plate with steamed vegetables and a salad and the portion was perfect. Unlike other establishments in the area they dont force a gratuity charge or extra tax charge on your bill. Lovely service and atmosphere overall. Definitely coming back again“

“From the moment I walked into Kaffeine Coffee Bar in Redondo Beach, I knew I’d found a new favorite spot. The aroma of freshly roasted beans hits you the second you step in, and the space has that perfect balance of cozy and modern that makes you want to stay awhile.

I started with an espresso, rich, balanced, and perfectly pulled, and followed it with their cold brew, which was smooth, bold, and had zero bitterness. You can tell the baristas here really care about the craft. And the pastries? Absolutely fantastic. They’re from Sweet Wheat, one of my favorites, and you can taste the difference: buttery, fresh, and just the right sweetness.

The atmosphere is relaxed but elevated: lots of natural light, comfortable seating, and a friendly staff that knows how to keep things moving while still making you feel welcome. It’s a great spot whether you’re meeting someone, catching up on emails, or just enjoying a quiet morning.

What stood out most is that everything here feels intentional. The quality of the beans, the presentation, even the playlist in the background. Kaffeine doesn’t try too hard; it just delivers excellent coffee, amazing pastries, and a neighborhood vibe that keeps you coming back.

If you’re in or around Redondo Beach and love good coffee, this place deserves a permanent spot on your rotation. Five stars all the way.“

“I recently got a coffee from the shop while on a walk. It was an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. It was so good. I finished my coffee while on my walk and had to pass by the shop again to get back to the place I was staying and stopped in again for seconds. I can not wait to have the chance to get more coffee in the future! The taste is better than Starbucks by a long shot. The owners were very friendly as well. They asked where I was from and showed great concern for me since I am from Minnesota. I really appreciate them so much!“

“Please do not go to the address listed on Google Maps or waste your time calling the associated phone number! I Repeat! If you paid for tix, ensure you get an appropriate email or text from the establishment or DM the Instagram account in advance until you find out the actual location... I unfortunately did not get any proper notice of where this was leading me to disturb an angry woman in a residential neighborhood. I was thus late and made others wait for me because I had to figure out where to go through sending Instagram DMs.

Otherwise, it is was a unique Coffee Omakase experience done with good intentions. Feel your hands cradle the ceramic and glass. Savor the aroma and flavor.“

It’s clear the family is honoring his legacy, and it makes supporting this place all the more meaningful.“

“What a great donut shop! It's conveniently located right along the side of the road, so you can just pull up into the 30-minute parking zone, walk in, grab your donuts, and be on your way, no hassle. They also have regular parking if you need it. The donuts are delicious and affordable, and the staff is always kind and welcoming.

What really makes this place stand out is that it opens at 4am! I’m sure there are others that open early too, but this is the only one I know and they've been doing it for the past 30+ years. That kind of dedication definitely deserves 5 stars :D!“
