They were patient, helpful with the menu, and made sure everything was perfect with my order. It’s always nice to see a restaurant where the employees genuinely care about their customers.

The food was absolutely amazing. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor, and the portions were generous. You can really tell they put effort into the quality of their food. Everything tasted delicious and well prepared, making it one of the best chicken spots I’ve tried.

“I went with my kids yesterday,was our first day in popeyes and I ordered chicken with 2 large drinks, but I had no more money to buy strawberry tea that my kids wanted to try, immediately the cashier Hamilton offered to give us strawberry tea just for that day because our first day and because there was too much tea and they were about to close my kids were happy and it is something that I appreciate a lot about Hamilton and of course I will come back and this time with a tip 😉“

“I was first introduced to Nashville-style hot chicken at Hattie B's in Nashville. Although I've never found anything quite like it here in Los Angeles (Hattie B's chicken serves bone-in whole pieces, marinated through), I'm addicted to Dave's, and love the Extra Hot! (I'll stay away from Reaper...I don't need to try something that requires a signed waiver!)

My go-to is the #4, and their fries are great too. The extra pickles they include are a really nice touch, and the sauce is a the perfect alternate to ketchup, and really goes with the chicken.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, and I can order at the counter, at a touch-screen kiosk, or on my app. The app has kind of become the easiest option for me now that I've gotten the hang of reordering my usual. I try to limit my fried, fast-food meals, but Dave's is usually my first thought when I'm in the mood to indulge in that kind of treat. If you like spice, it's a must-try!“

“I have loved California Chicken Cafe and eaten here for years, including using their top-notch catering. When I moved away from LA in 2021, this was the place I missed the most. I recently stopped by the Encino location while in town and grabbed my favorite wrap. It was just as incredibly fresh and delicious as ever. The consistency is amazing. “Got the chicken tender combo, slice of cheese pizza & garlic knots. My 12yo said the chicken was tender inside and really good seasoning, he got Medium & hot (wasnt too spicy), fries were bland, needed some salt. Garlic knots were good, but too heavy on the seasoning. Sauce was ok, very tangy. He said the pizza was really good. Prices are a little high. It's a small place, about five tables inside, clean & located in a small plaza. Staff was very welcoming & pleasant.“
