“Traditional Salvadorean Cuisine in the SFV✨

Our first time trying Salvadorean food at this family owned restaurant in Reseda.

Carlos gave us some great recommendations so we ended up trying pupusas for the first time. It’s made with a homemade corn dough. It’s thicker than a regular corn tortilla and stuffed with ground pork and cheese. They have a variety of fillings. You can add salsa roja, a flavorful tomato-based sauce or habanero sauce. Served with Curtido, a tangy, fermented cabbage slaw. So crispy, cheesy and filling. It came burning hot - I could barely hold it. 😂 But, I would definitely order this again! ☺️

We tried Desayuno Típico, a traditional Salvadoran breakfast, which came with casamiento (beans and rice mixed together), Salvadorean style chorizo, fried plantains, 2 eggs, avocado, fresh cheese and Salvadorean style sour cream and homemade corn tortillas.

“It was our first time here, and we came to celebrate my husband's birthday. The place wasn’t too busy when we arrived, and we were welcomed right away. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

We tried a variety of dishes, but the real standout was the San Pedro-style shrimp, it was absolutely delicious! While we wouldn’t have minded a bit more potatoes and corn, the flavors were on point, and overall, it was fire 🔥

“This is my favorite Thai place. This gem is small but mighty. Their food is always so good, my favorites are the yellow curry with chicken, pad see ew with chicken and their beef salad. The lava cake with ice cream is the best ending. Portions are nicely sized. The lunch specials are perfect during the week. Delivery is always quick, and the drivers are so friendly. I also love the thai iced coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant for delicious Thai cuisine.“

“During the day there's usually only one person working there (really it's just a little hole in the wall operation) so getting your order can take some time but it's more than worth the wait. The food is all amazing. The fish comes out a light golden brown with just the perfect taste and consistency. It's a shame the chain all but doesn't exist anymore but this location at least is better than any of their competitors in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you like old fashioned fish and chips. Hopefully you'll eat it soon after getting it. Like most foods it's best when fresh and hot.“

“The food here is outstanding homemade Mexican. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is a bit tatty but honestly who cares, the prices were really excellent and it is clear that this place is run by a family. I’m happy to come and eat again.

“I recently order to go there,and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu offered a delightful variety of authentic Chinese dishes, making it hard to choose.

I opted for the spicy Chicken and fish.both of which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spice, while the fish were tender and delicious.

“This restaurant is phenomenal! First of all the food is dreamy, I particularly LOVE the shrimp pasta. The cocktails are also just insane i love the fresh fruit in them sooo yummy! We have come multiple times and every time is great. Staff is always so friendly. Came on Fathers Day w/ the hubby & sat at the bar. Our bartender Lexi was killin it. “This was our first time trying Fish Grill and it truly was a fantastic experience. Shout out to Julian, an employee, who helped take our order at the kiosk when there was a bit of a wait at the register. We dined in and he checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and had everything we need. 10/10 recommend the food here. The fish, sides, and clam chowder were even better than some of the more upscale restaurants we’ve tried previously. “I recently saw this place opened up and had to try it! Betsy (owner) was super nice to us and told us some of the plans she has for this new location.??

Now for the food...fire. I got the chicken tacos (two orders) and my girlfriend got the carne asada tacos. Salsa...on point. Taco size...on point. They have great drinks too!

This place has a vibey atmosphere and I really appreciate them staying open late! There's nothing better than a late night food run for tacos.

We definitely plan on visiting again!
