“a little expensive for hot pot- but the nice new restaurant feel and the quality of food makes up for it. The meat lover combo for $65 was plenty for two people. Service would really only show up when you placed a new order, and it was a little weird not to receive spoons or bowls (there is a separate self-serve counter for this and sauces) but besides that they were fine. Only rank atmosphere low due to a large amount of families with loud kids wandering the restaurant... cest la vie.“

“So far so good. The duck blood is so tender n soft. They go by 15$ per pounds so u can pick anything you like. The soup base is very tasty and has a kick to it. Should have ordered spicy rather than medium spicy, cuz i like it spicy. Will come back.“

“Finally tried Jong Ga House for their AYCE Korean BBQ, and it was a delight! The variety of meats was impressive and perfectly seasoned. The sides complemented the BBQ well, especially the kimchi and pickled veggies. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our grills were always sizzling. The only downside was a slight wait time, but it was worth it! Highly recommend joining their waitlist while you’re heading to the restaurant.“

“Hot pot is the name of the game. Great AYCE and AYCD (Sapporo and hot house sake) specials. You can upgrade to premium options and order a la carte, as well. They have a self-service bar where you can pick your own vegetables, ssam, sauces, etc. Staff are attentive, but if you wish for faster service, press the button on your table whenever you're ready to order.“

“Our daughter is obsessed with soup dumplings which we found at Fusion Dumpling. The traditional pork were great, but try the black truffle and wagyu soup dumplings. You won't be disappointed!“

“Came here with a group of 9 and we got seated at two different tables. Each table had one giant pot to split.
Good:
- You can choose 2 soups that you want - I loved the tomato soup base since it was nice and savory but not too salty
- I liked how much variety there was in the AYCE options - the Ferris wheel of course is the most famous thing here
- The appetizers were pretty great - there were glass noodles and tons of sauces
- The mango coconut dessert was delicious!
- Nice and private back area for groups
Bad:
- Overall more expensive, about $45pp after taxes
Overall a really fun group activity!“

“Amazing Tai Shan restaurant!!! Recommendations:
1. Taishan beef bone soup (we also were told coconut chicken soup is their specialty) - this wasn’t salty, perfectly herbed, so yummmmmmyv
2. yellow eel clay pot rice - fresh water eels!
3. pork noodle roll - house made!
4. purple potatoes sesame balls - rare find usually it’s red bean
They said all dim sum is made in site and they use free range chicken - don’t get preserved pork cake
There as only 1 waitresss who was also the host and cashier. She was amazing and kind - management should hire at least 1 more person
And of course this place has less stars cuz it doesn’t cater to westerners but their is the obligatory kung pao plate but just ignore that. All the surrounding restaurants have tourists whereas this one is filled with Taishan people.“

“I've been here with my partner a few times and it has always been a nice treat. The service and staff has always been super friendly and fast! I understand the QR code ordering can still be a shock to some, but I can say it has improved since the first time we've used it a few years back. It's fast, clear and I find it more convenient as I can always add to the order at anytime.
We were a party of 4 with one who only eats veggies. We ordered a split pot, premium beef combo, the big veggie combo, lotus, noodles, and fried tofu. The choices of broth are plenty. The mild, to me, is a bit spicier than usual so if you're not used to it, I suggest the normal broth and just add a little hot oil to your liking. That was perfect to start our table off. We added a couple of items later, but that was a good portion for 4 people. Lots of ingredients and broth choices. If you like more customization to your hot pot rather than an all you can eat business model, this place may be a better choice and in some cases, a better value.
After having been there more than a handful of times, I can safely say that I've never had a bad experience there. Always a great date night for me and my partner. With businesses coming and going in today's climate, I'm always happy to see this little corner spot in the mall still serving.
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options ala carte! My partner is vegetarian. The problem with all you can eat business model is that she can't eat most of the stuff yet paying a premium price. This place offers ala carte so we can do a split pot. She orders the veggies for her side and i can eat the meats on my side. Works out for the both of us!“
