The pours are generous, but those sandwiches are amazing! I recommend stopping here for the history, the brandy, the still wine (yes they make still wine!), and the market! Our first waiter was Ben and oh how we loved him so we always asked for him when we would go in. Sadly, Ben moved out of the area but then we got Danny! Another fantastic server and now we always ask for her! Can't vouch for the other servers but my guess would be that they are all good! Susie is the owner, and she is wonderful! She always mingles with her guests and even gets many of them up dancing! I hope she knows how much her regulars appreciate her! I'm so glad we found this place because we do not live out there. “This was our first time dining at Barndiva in this newer format. The original Barndiva used to be my favorite restaurant and I have missed it greatly. I'm still not sure why they switched from the pretty side of the restaurant to the current side. The outside garden is very nice, much nicer than sitting inside. The food was very good with the fresh peach croustade being outstanding! The menu is a bit limited so if you have any dietary restrictions or are a picky eater, I would definitely check it before you go. It was a wonderful evening and we will definitely be back, hopefully while they're still making the peach croustade!“

“Great local hangout with outdoor seating on the River!. This is a must stop for those hot days on the Russian River. It was 93 today, but the shade with a river breeze was comfortable on the deck. They have a good selection of house brews with daily specials and a few mixed cocktails. Bar food is available, it's the normal fair. Great quality, you won't be disappointed.“
