“It wouldn't feel like Rohnert Park without Mary's. This place has been through thick and thin and prevails as a community staple. The owners are genuinely great people and very actively involved in Rohnert Park. Mary's has some basic staples like gnocchi and the house salad. Their blue cheese dressing is hard to beat. Service has always been friendly and they have some great long time staff.“
“Olive Garden never fails to impress! Every location I've visited has consistently served high-quality food. I had a wonderful experience at the Novato branch—the staff were friendly, the food was fresh, and the service was exceptional. Plus, everything was served quickly!“
“This review is for service only. I've read the review's. Maybe I'm different from all other humans. I found service was top notch. Amy, our server, was great. The runners were great. The people at the door were great. Maybe gamblers have a high expectation after losses. We had calamari, wings, cheese bread, meatballs, pizza, and salads. All washed down with a nice selection of beers. The food was good but no match to the hard working folks serving us. If you notice, the only response from management is for 5 star reviews. Weird. Guess they don't take criticism well. Food is a solid three stars. Maybe four for hand made items such as pastas. If I were gambling at Graton, I would definitely drop in, but to choose that as a destination with all that Sonoma county had to offer...I would just say thanks to the fine folks in our county that work hard to make spending our money well worth it. Thanks Amy for treating our table so well.“
“Omg! We just had the best dinner date ever! So refreshing! The place is welcoming, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the wine is delicious and the menu is mindfully crafted! For the vegetarians and vegans out there, get ready to be blown away by fresh ingredientes and delicious recipes! The French lentil soup was the best soup I've ever had in my life! The lasagna bolognese omg!! The baguette! Don't even think twice! The whole ordering ahead was really cool too! Just come to n in and have an experience for yourself! Just wow!“
“Hector's is a local gem and a bit of a secret tucked away in the burbs of Petaluma. The staff is always warm and friendly. We've always done take-out, but their dining area seems inviting. They have an amazing array of specialty pizzas. My absolute favorite pizza is Pizza Sonoma, which happens to be vegetarian. It's an eclectic combination of marinated artichokes hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, halved seedless Thompson grapes, and sliced red onions. It might be interesting to add pepperoni or chicken. Try Hector's, you won't be sorry!“
“I work for the Sonoma County Family YMCA and we had Canevaris cater our event and I couldn't be more satisfied. Everyone was asking where it was from because the food was so good! The Cesar salad trays were scraped clean. Steven was so genuine and thoughtful. Lou brought the food right on time with everything nicely prepared. Steven called after the event to make sure everything went okay. We will definitely be using Canervaris in the future. Thank you Canevaris team!“
“Lasagna was super soft and tasty. Plenty of sauce to mop up with the buttered bread.Spaghetti Carbonara I was told is very good. The Fettuccine Alfredo is a kid favorite. Brother had the bouillabaisse, which he thought tasted great, but wasn't very filling. The shrimp, clams, scallops, salmon, and calamari were very delicious, but he wanted more of each. He said he got 2 shrimp, 3 clams and a little bit of everything else. Soaked up the soup with bread, but was still not filling.Sister had the chicken Marsala and Mom had the chicken piccata. I thought the chicken was a little dry, but the roasted potatoes and brussel sprouts were good. Mom said the chicken was half dry and half good. The violinist was very good. Played a couple of covers we recognized. I recognized Zombie by the Cranberries, but I don't know a lot of song names. Very good. Violinist walked around and gave everyone in the restaurant a front row seat to the music.Waitstaff is amazing and checked in on us multiple times. Refilled water without prompting which was nice. Refilled bread multiple times which was great. The olive oil and black vinegar went very well with the bread. I thought it was garlic bread until I saw the garlic bread on the menu. Very surprised. The table bread is amazing and surprised it's free. I would come just to have a drink and eat bread ??Bathroom is clean, but the soap dispenser is a bit hard to press for a kid. Adults should have no problems. After 6pm, the nearby parking is free.Street parking is also free after 6pm Mon to Sat.Parking: After 6pm it's free.“
“I Just have to say, tonight Sugo's was amazing. First time there in years. Every attention to detail did not go unnoticed! The service had the feel of fine dining. I dropped my napkin, and very discreetly someone placed a new one on the table. ( just one simple example) The service was formal yet very friendly. Did I say napkin, I meant paper napkin. That was the only indication I was not dining at an upscale restaurant with a$300 check. A special thank you to our sever, James. BTW, THE "kitchen sink" salad is delicious!“
“We live 2 miles away from the restaurant and for a variety of reasons we haven’t eaten here for over a year. We are regretting it today because we had a superb meal last night. Cucina’s reputation is well deserved because there is simply no better (mostly) Italian cuisine around. Truly, you can’t do better, no matter what you order. Don’t even think about any other Italian restaurant. We will be back very soon, and one only partially serious New Year’s resolution is to spend the next year ordering every entree..“
“We had read that all pasta was freshly made in house. Everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were generous. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We highly recommend this restaurant and we'd love to eat there again whenever we're in the area.“
“The food here is authentic Italian and, in my Italian opinion, the best in Santa Rosa. The service and ambiance are great given what they have to work with. It's a nice reasonably priced dinner date establishment. Be sure to make reservations for best seating.“
“Food is outstanding and the owner is so nice!!! He was so kind to tell us the history of his family and journey of creating his menu. And lemme tell y'all the food is outstanding every time I get something it's like a little piece of heaven. After I had the creme brulee I kept craving it and bought two in one day afterwards. With all the pizza I've throughout my travels and in Petaluma Mad Sicilian is absolutely the best I've had.“
“We were so incredibly blown away by the food and the staff! The drinks were so tasty and creative, and each plate was seasoned so well. We had never been here before, so we were shocked at how small the seating area is. But surprisingly, they move quickly! They even started us with drinks and appetizers on the front patio. Darion was an amazing server! He was so helpful and hilarious, and wonderfully kind and patient. We will absolutely be back to try more items on the menu.“
“Brittany was the best!! A meal is always better when your server is friendly, knowledgeable and well, the best! The cheese brick starter is to die for!! As well as the pear flatbread!! Actually, everything we ate was delicious and cooked to perfection.“
“We have been to Trattoria Roma lately for dine in and convenient take out. Often order our favorite standards, consistent and good. Appreciate the traditional Bruschetta, Penne Bolinais, Ceasar Salad w/ protein add on. Generous portions.Parking: C-Street entry Parking garage across the street.Busy neighborhoods with the 14 screen Cinemas and Residential Lofts, allow little extra time to find parking in the Theater District.Kid-friendliness: We have noticed well behaved family diners and special occasion moments.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes sidewalk ramp access. The parking garage across the street has Blue Plaquered spaces and Elevators. The Restaurant has 2-3 tables to accommodate ADA diners, call ahead about reservation or available seating access.“
“We order from here often. Since living in a different city we usually order through doordash. Something changed in the menu where we couldn't add any special instructions. Very challenging because my daughter only likes a few foods and one specifically from this restaurant. After calling and talking to Sandra, she took the time to figure out the glitch through doordash, and now we are able to order this special meal again. Huge thank you to Sandra for caring enough to spend several days and endless hours figuring this out. I can't thank you enough!! Customer service like I haven't felt in a very long time.“
“My absolute favorite pizza, possibly of all time! If you're wanting a kinda thin pie like you get in NYC, then you will love this pizza. After COVID hit, we lost this gem of a place. Luckily it's back and as great as ever, Thank you❤️“
“These guys are amazing! My family and I are addicted to their pesto sauce. I have never found anything that comes close. We moved to Bend, OR a few years ago from Sonoma County, CA and the one thing I was really missing was their pesto sauce. I reached out to Pasta King, and although they do not ship their sauces, they did hook us up with their friend who just happened to be visiting them and was headed back to my neighborhood. They arranged to have a cooler full of pesto sauce brought back for me. I am eternally grateful and so happy to have their pesto sauce back in my freezer. They are amazing and went above and beyond me make a customer happy.“
“I recently visited Volpi’s Ristorante and ordered their famous house pasta, to which I added chicken. The flavor was delightful and the portion size was really generous, providing great value. What truly sets this place apart is its charming and historical atmosphere; it’s evident they’ve done a fantastic job in preserving the spirit of their beginnings since 1925. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience steeped in history.“
“Great locally owned pizza shop! Ralph is very kind, friendly, knows how to make a nice thin crust pizza! He grows his own herbs! His Abundanza is a must try! Prices are the best in town! It's even better the day after! Thank you Ralph! Cash only, no CC's.“
“Apparently, I've never written a review for my favorite Italian place, so here we are. I have been going here off and on for about 7 years after discovering it during a restaurant week. It can be expensive, so I don't get to have it as much as I'd like, but it has been my favorite date night spot. My kids like it too, especially hearing some of the staff speaking Italian, it is a smaller space so it gets a bit loud on busy nights so my daughter with sensitive ears brings her ear plugs just in case. If you like dessert, the tiramisu and lemoncello are our favorites.“
“Went for Sonoma County Restaurant Week Dinner Food - 5/5. Caprese was fresh and I liked the addition of the arugula for its peppery finish. Big chunks of salt gave it a sharp taste and the balsamic added a sour flavor with a hint of sweetness. Caesar salad was loaded with aged parmesan, adding a huge level of umami to contrast the light, crunchy romaine. Cibo star was very rich, being loaded with different meats and plenty of cheese. The dough had a good chew on them and the star shaped stuffed crust was fun to eat, reminding me of a cheese calzone. The rich flavor did get overwhelming, but having a marinara sauce as a dip helped balance it out. Rack of lamb had a delicious marinade that gave it a distinct flavor of balsamic. It was a little overcooked, being on the medium well side of doneness, but the marinade kept the lamb tender. Asparagus had a nice bite and the aged parmesan added a savory flavor. Zeppole were fantastic! Each piece was fried well having a crispy and chewy texture. The sauces were decadent and sweet with the chocolate being my favorite. Sweetness level was just right to pair with the fried items. Service - 5/5. Service was friendly and professional to the end. We came closer to closing time and our dessert came out after close. Out of respect for their time, we took it to go after a few bites but we never felt rushed from the staff. Value - 5/5. The restaurant week special was three courses for $35. The options showcased their menu items but also included things that aren't on their regular menu such as the lamb. Although delicious, I felt that only two pieces of lamb was a little small for portions. The sweet perk was fantastic offering a huge plate of zeppole for only $5. Their pizzas are all in the mid $20s range which was fair considering the amount of toppings, cheese and size of the pizza. Absolutely fantastic restaurant week location! Parking - Mall Lot (Free)“
“Mama J’s is in a cute little shopping center. Wonderful location in Penngrove. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Great music, great drink selection and the pizza is so delicious. The pizza dough is the best I’ve had with fresh ingredients!! A must try if you are in the area!!“
“If you want to find a truly Italian experience in the middle of Sonoma County; this is it. I’ve never had better food or service anywhere else and I travel a lot for work! Fantastic family atmosphere, and the food and service are better than anywhere else! I eat there every single time I’m in my hometown.“
“We loved our meal. We have many food restrictions and everyone was quite gracious. Not only was the food - eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi, tomato cream pasta - delicious, the atmosphere was homey and welcoming. A bit pricy, but everything was fresh and made from scratch.“
“Used the Gio's app for the first time to order last night and it worked great. It linked up with my Apple Pay, gave real time updates on my order and my order was ready for pickup at the promised time. I also saved $5 on my order for using the app. Being a Friday during Lent, we ordered a Ultimate Cheese Pizza and it was great, the smell made our mouths water for the 15 minute drive home and the pizza was still warm when we started eating it.“
“Has a business dinner here last night, client picked it, I’d never been. From the appetizers to the wine selection to the service! Wish I had taken more pictures but was too busy enjoying everything. I was having a hard time choosing between Carbonara and the Chicken Parm special so the server swapped out my side for the Chicken Parm with Carbonara! Was delicious but the server wanting me to have the best experience possible really impressed me!“
“Rosso is a culinary delight! From the moment you enter, the warm ambiance and inviting aroma of freshly baked pizzas greet you. The menu boasts a delicious selection of artisanal pizzas, each topped with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor. The attentive staff ensure a seamless dining experience, making you feel right at home.“
“Exceptional Italian dinner tonight at this suprising spot. The olio compote was a savory starter bread basket that was surpassed by the fresh, bright bruscetta. Having enjoyed the Muir Woods a nice meal began with both the grilled calamari (ragalu) salad that was tender and toothsome. The French onion soup was hearty & beefy in taste & topped with a bubbled cheese crouton. Onto the mains. This Friday saw large perfectly crusted scallops in a light red sauce that lit the sweet savory palate tonight. The homemade tagliatell was light and al dente, surrounded by clams Ala vignole. Sweet - flavourful. No room for the bread pudding or the Taramisu yet wound down with the prescriptive digestivo Sambuca con mosca. Will look forward to exploring the rest of the menu. Mielle Gratzi Mangia Tutto!“
“Fir a starter we had the fried calamari and it included artichokes and green beans it was huge and so good we finished it all. The shrimp Fettuccine and Pappardelle were perfect and again the portions were large. I wish I took a picture of the tiramisu it was super moist and the presentation was fancy! Everything was so awesome!“
“First time coming here as the Round Tables in Santa Rosa have completely fallen apart. Pizza ready on time and looks great! One problem, I am pretty sure I got thin crust, not regular. The taste is just not the same... I believe a couple dining in at the restaurant (mine was takeout, looked at toppings before leaving, never expected a crust problem) had same thing happen. Nice staff. Disappointed but will try again.“
“Easy to find parking, buffet style breakfast every Sunday--then mix it up with different types of stuff: waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, pastries & fruit etc...(Kid-friendly place) Brunch -$10 for children and $20 per adult--all-you-can-eat!That's a good deal ?We dined in/ eggs benedict for me and for my husband he ordered corned beef hash. And it was cooked perfectly.came to the table lickety split. This is really good food...The staff were very friendly and helpful.I will have to come back and try the buffet, maybe even Dinner.Their dog friendly for service ? ? animals“
“Had dinner here on the patio. I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, Wedge Salad and the Pesto Pizza Bites. We were skeptical about trying this place at first because the name just didn’t go with the type of food they served. To be honest we thought the Art’s Place was an art store just from looking at the name on the building. I am glad we did stop by because I wanted comfort food and this place did it for me. They were a little short staff that night the server we had was also the bartender as you can imagine he was very busy. I asked for Parmesan did not receive it until it was time to go. I also had to go inside and ask for our server not knowing the task he had at hand. Overall besides the service not being A1 the food made up for it. I rate this restaurant a 9/10. I Will definitely recommend this spot and will visit again when in the area.“
