“My wife and I had dinner earlier tonight. We shared Sashimi, Caesar Salad, Gnudi, and Black Cod. All were excellent except for the Black Cod which had great flavors but was drowned in oil. Service was excellent although a bit on the fast side. WIth those courses and no desert, we were done in under an hour. Wine prices were on the high side, so we took advantage of the $25 corkage fee. The joint was jumping and quite noisy, but it was still possible to converse. We will definitely return!“

“When I say 5 we mean it!! I only do Best and Worst reviews and this place is in top 3 Restaurants we have ever eaten at in the World. From the romantic ambience to the service to the drinks to the food to the desserts, it is all PERFECT!! Our server "Brian" was the best, super friendly, helpful and made our experience more special. After helping us pick all of the delectable Appetizers we chose the Lasagne for our entree and it was phenomenal. Then we had to try the desserts and to our surprise Brian had prepared for us a custom Dessert Trio that was to die for. I hesitated to even write a review worried people will flood this beautiful restaurant and it will be too hard to get in anymore We will be back frequently until we try everything on this Menu!! “Had lunch here on Feb. 13th. It was included in the wine trolley tour package I purchased.We were served 6 courses. Started up with a salad. I forgot what kind of greens in it. It has apples and cheese. The dressing is delightful. Then pasta came with red sauce. It was good enough, although, pasta was overcooked. Then 3 typesof pizza came out after. Pizzas were good enough, but all of them are on the salty side. Then after, we had pistachio ice cream for desert. And that was the best one of all that was served to us. The server lady was attentive.“

“Leo was our server. He was by far, the best, most easy going server we've had after coming here so many times the past year. The food was good. I still think hands down one of the best pork chops I've ever had, it was moist and delicious. If you crave something salty and sweet (the fruitetta sauce), do you taste buds a favor and get the pork chop plate. The potatoes were so crispy. My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi, and that's his go-to dish. We went around 3pm so the place was pretty empty, but from past experiences it gets really busy so reservation is a must.“

“Always stop by Lawlers when we are in Napa. Peter and George treat us like family and are always super friendly and happy to see us. This place has some of the best prices on beer and spirits that you will find anywhere. Also, the kitchen here turns out the best sandwich in town and the raviolis and malfottis can't be beat ( pro tip: get the garlic bread) today we got a quart of clam chowder, it was excellent. Spaghetti is another of my favorites. The store is well lit and organized well, these guys can find whatever specialty liquor you can think of. Tell them Henri sent you if you've never been.“

“A Taste of Italy in the heart of St. Helena! My family and I just ate at Pizzeria Tra Vigne and it's a total Italian treasure! The handcrafted mozzarella is so delicious, and their pasta and pizza are some of the best food we have ever had in St. Helena. Oh, and save room for dessert - it's worth it. Plus, the service is incredible. Definitely, a must-visit in St. Helena for foodies!“

“I went to get dinner for my soon to be 84 year old elderly aunt that was in the hospital, and even though they closed early and had not updated their operating hours online, they still graciously prepared her a posta dish that she wanted. “This is the original store . Two to three times the size of Walnut Creek. Same food and about the same service. Although she made my sandwich dry, Dijon mustard with oil and vinegar has never been so dry. Maybe it was the excess lettuce with no double oil and vinegar. Nevertheless, when Food QUALITY is universal. It’s kind of hard to mess up. Next time I’ll sit outside.“

“This is the best Italian food we've had out in a long, long time. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The kids got half orders of ravioli and another pasta with meat sauce. Those meals were unnecessary because there was plenty of food in the Italian Feast. For $31, we got two salads, a cheese pizza, spaghetti and lasagna (each for both of us) plus the delicious bread they bring to the table. That was enough for two adult and two kids alone. Our waitress, Shannon R, was so sweet and helped us with choosing what to order. She was attentive and so sweet to the boys. The restaurant was authentic, clean and welcoming. “By far the best malfatti, ravioli and meatballs I've ever had. The sauce (gravy) is a work of art from a pro with decades of experience. This families takeout food has been a centerpiece for my families big dinners and holidays since I was a kid.“

“A small little viby bistro on Main Street in St Helena is worth a stop. The restaurant is clean and tidy with chill decor. Tables with tablecloth and proper napkins gives this restaurant an upscale feel. The service is quick and friendly. The menu is a nice size and the wine list is as well. The menu confused me a bit with the choices of ravioli, fish and chips, a burger and tacos in the same menu but it kinda worked. The food came out quiclkly and hot. The burger was noshed down quickly as was the fish and chips. The artichoke was a bit wet even though it was grilled. The pumpkin ravioli was tasty but a bit too sweet. The wines we chose were good quality and went well with the food. All in all a good experience. Caution: parking is not that easy to find and you may have to walk a bit.“

“Loved the ambiance here! Their outdoor seating is beautiful, almost like a garden with a fountain. Staff was super friendly also. We ordered 2 different pastas, and it didn't disappoint! We got the gnocchi and the duck papperdelle with truffle oil. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and wasn't mushy, very much comfort food! The papperdelle was cooked al dente, and I loved how I could taste the truffle oil. Both pastas reminded me of real pasta like from Italy! I couldn't stop eating the bread, mainly because of the balsamic! It was a little thicker than your normal balsamic vinegar but not as thick of a glaze. It was sweet, and I couldn't stop dipping my bread in it with oil. For dessert we got the torta di cioccolata, it was delicious! Loved the chocolate mousse with the cherry liquor on top, and the amaretto crust was a nice touch! Definitely want to come back for their pastas!“

Clearly we didn't stop in for atmosphere, with its wide open dining area and very high ceiling, the sound really bounces around, but when it comes to food this is where you want to be.The open faced meatball sandwich is truly a meal! Those enormous house made meatballs are just the right size for the fresh sourdough bread, add the fresh melted mozzarella and red sauce and your in heaven!.Apparently sandwiches are in their wheelhouse, they also serve one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had. Layered cheeses with a bit of sauce squeezed in between the grilled sourdough bread was the best I have ever had. Add a side salad and your set.Although the server seemed to take a while to warm up, overall the service was good. This is a great place for lunch. Cheers!“

“Wow! Of course all the food here is incredible but this review is going to be about Evette... What an incredible server! We came here last Sunday with about 30 people! She handled all of us with such ease, grace and kindness...I wonder if anything ever rattles this girl! She was just so kind and patient which is just unbelievable for such a large group! I was embarrassed to even admit this, that we had so many separate checks, and how she handled that was unbelievable as well! I gave her a huge tip, I just hope my friends followed suit... “Great place, Hasn't changed in 15 years. The staff is friendly and you can hear them sing and laugh, which helps add to the comfortable environment. Customer service is great. “I popped into Mary's on the plaza to see my family on my break during my 12 hour shift in the ER. Francis, the manager, realized and he sent me with all of the night's leftover pizza from Slice Shack to the Sonoma Valley Hospital night shift. Now that's community! As usual, I got exceptional and quick service at the bar tables from Rochelle and everyone who checked in on us, including the staff that cooked our wings. Thank you Mary's Pizza, so appreciated!!“
