“This is a true gem in the Barlow. Oyster has a wonderful atmosphere - great for a family dinner or a get together with friends. The food is fantastic - strongly recommend the duck fat fries, the burger, the wedge salad, the calamari and the octopus. Raw oysters did not disappoint either. We will definitely be back!“

“The food was a delicate mix of Mediterranean flavors. A daring mix of ingredients that challenged and amazed our palates. My wife and I enjoyed tasting each of these delicate dishes. We had to ask for a slice of bread to finish our dishes. Even the sourdough slice came toasted just as it should be!

Too bad we had only the tin octopus. They didn’t have the seasonal charred octopus. You can skip the tin fish imho.

For wine we had the French Crozes-hermitage from the Rhône valley. A sure bet that did not deceive.“

“We came for happy hour and it was great!! They had good deals for oysters, we got 1/2 dozen for $14! The drinks were also great, we loved the Kir Royale. The menu overall seems pretty pricey, and some of the descriptions are tricky to understand if you don’t know words in French, so be willing to ask your server or do some research.

The ambiance in here is great. It’s such a cute small place with really great furniture and decor. Would definitely recommend for a date night, or for a good spot to try some new foods!“

“Location in a mall was strange - then opened the door into a lovely ambiance - clean, inviting, funny with a tablet to order on, a track that carried dishes to your place, and wait staff who made sure that all went correctly. “We went to this place for the first time, not expecting much. It just looks likes a generic place in a shopping strip from the outside. When we entered, we immediately saw how clean it was and how friendly everyone was there. They were very attentive throughout the course of our meal as well! They have a little robot that brings your food out to you but the server is right there ready to get the food off of the robot waiter. The food was absolutely divine! We got the fish and a shrimp dinner instead of the combination plates. The salads were great as well! Overall, our experience was extremely satisfactory and I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a delightful surprise!“

“We enjoy going there for lunch when we are out of food at home. The lunch price is reasonable and the portion is large enough for two meals. I like snow peas with beef and my spouse likes snow peas with chicken. The food is always piping hot when they bring it to us. It comes with a cup of soup and it is tasty as well. No complain about the service if you tip a fair amount.“

“Yes we highly recommend Mandarin Kitchen.
On our first visit my wife and I found the food fresh with great flavor.
We had Mandarin Samosas for appetizer and main dishes were Kung Pow Chicken and Mandarin Salad and greatly enjoyed our meal. Service was good and the atmosphere was great.

Our second visit was also a great experience with our appetizer and 2 main dishes. We are already planning a return visit bringing our out of town family who will be visiting us for the holidays. Pricing for value is very good.

“Stopped by this place on my way through town. It has a good hole-in-the-wall feel that you find at local-run Chinese food places like this. The owner is the one who served us and I’m pretty sure she cooked most of the food herself too. We were the only party there when we started our meal since it was between lunch and dinner. Almost everything on the menu can be made gluten free, which is so hard to find. Even the soy sauce had gluten free options! I’ll definitely be here again if I find my way through town again.
