Plantains seemed more like regular bananas since they are sweet and very soft... The ones I've had in Latin countries were drier, more neutral, similar to a chip. Regardless, i liked them. “as recommended by ishigo optometrist over the road : we have just finished a great lunch- the restaurant is clean and modern with booths and tables and cheerful staff - big and well presented mains- I had pho: the others had the spectacular looking garlic shrimp noodles: we particularly liked the crispy: rolls and rounded off with coffees of course. now off for a long walk to settle it all down.“

It's a weekly meal for us.
With Arroz y Frijoles. Any other combination choice will NOT include TORTILLAS. The green SALSA, fire!!!! My wife loves this plaCe. When I show up at home, the Cat n Dog go crazy!!! Juiciest breast ever... has a chicken soup great for sick days.

“The food was great. It's not a regular menu. It is a buffet. I hate buffet, but this one was delicious. I really enjoyed the food.

“I was in town so I dropped by this little hidden gem. The food was authenticity delicious. I loved that they focused on Mexican and Central American cuisines. I had the Mexican Breakfast and my husband the Guatemalan Breakfast. Both were good. The staff were friendly and polite. Place is a bit hidden in a strip mall, definitely worth a visit.“

“I can’t say enough good things about Tendon Tempura Carlos Jr.! I always go for the tendon combo, and it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had. The small bowl with soba is just perfect—it’s delicious and satisfying without being too heavy. The original location in Torrance has such a great vibe, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Every visit feels like a wonderful experience. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out! Highly recommend!“

“Easily one of the top Peruvian, restaurants and chains. I like that chicken soup and the lomo saltado especially. This location is more of a drive-through pick up or delivery and I primarily just order through DoorDash. Certainly one of my go to choices for really good chicken, soup and meat.
