“This McDonald's is a bit better than other nearby locations to me. I get fresh fries more often and it's less often that they omit food from my order. If I had yo choose between this location and the one on Folsom Blvd, I would just about always choose this one.

It's very automated when you go inside, so if you're paying with cash or the kiosk has an issue, expect to have to say something, if you just stand there someone might never help you as they expect you to use the kiosk. It lacks a lot if customization/substitution options, so I unfortunately have to talk to someone usually. Though to give credit where due, they aren't rude to you like some other stores when they end up having to take your order inside, so I guess if that's the new standard, this one is better as well. It's not "the best" McDonald's I've been to, but it is actually better than most these days.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair entrance leading up to the door and handicapped parking.“

“I am so happy I finally made my way to classy hippy tea, I got there just as the shop was closing but the owner let me come in and shop. He took his time explaining the teas and even made me a custom blend based on what I was looking for which is delicious. I am obsessed with the pineapple mimosa and have made it to be an iced drink which is amazing. Please go check them out“

“Super cute cafe with a delightful variety of drinks and fun things to look at. I had the matcha latte with their housemade matcha whipped cream, which was delicious. The colorful kitschy wares were an ADHD dream. The major downside for me was the lack of gluten free food options, which limits when it makes sense to go there and thus limits my desire to return.

Vegan options: 8/10- a slider, smoothies, a good selection of plant-based milks, and a couple of pastry options.
Gluten free options: 5/10- drinks and smoothies. No food options. The online menu shows 1-2 gf pastry choices but those were not there when I went.“

“Strawberry. Ricotta. Toast. I can’t speak to anything else, because I’ve only been here once. However, this piece of toast is phenomenal. I’m not really big on taking pictures of food, but this is definitely a picture worthy piece of toast. Not to mention, it is very filling and satisfying. A little pricy though at $13.

Other than that, the atmosphere is very “basic” and social media friendly if you’re into that sort of thing, and the coffee menu is very minimal with very few food items. If coffee is your life then you’ll probably have a great experience. If you’re like me and occasionally enjoy a good and filling piece of toast, then merely stop on by for the (slightly expensive) Strawberry Ricotta Toast and hit the road.“

“Went in for a coffee, tried the Iceed hazelnut Vietnamese coffee. It was the perfect amout of sweet and strong taste of coffee. I also got the Avacado BLT and I absolutely loved it. I don't usually like avocado, but the bread had such a great taste with the bacon and lettuce. My sister had the breakfast skillet and the Macha strawberry, and she loved everything too.“

I admit, there are other stops where I will go for other specific coffee drinks - such as Trade for their Gibraltars, or Insight for it's Nitro Brews - but Goodside has won me over because of it's Drips and it's Mochas. The mochas have been CONSISTENTLY rich and flavorful: the chocolate goodness hits your mouth in all the right places, my and my taste buds are all fired up for this good flavor! “It’s just before 7am on a very rare chilly mid-June morning. I have a couple hours to kill, as I’m traveling, waiting for my ride. I am originally from the Sacramento area so of course I know Temple well. However, I have yet to spend much time at this particular location. I order a drip coffee for here and a morning glory vegan, gluten free donut. Happily, I sit down at one of the many available tables with plenty of outlets to accompany them. I take the first sip from my coffee and immediately smile. Absolutely legendary. The best coffee I’ve ever had. And as if that wasn’t enough, the donut is also superb. Temple, how do you do it?

“Fantastic Mexican mocha and Mexican hot chocolate. It's nice to support a locally owned business too. Be sure to get a punch card. Every tenth coffee is free for regulars. When the owner noticed that I had become a regular customer, after 4 or 5 visits, he offered me that punch card and gave me 5 punches even though I couldn't remember how many times I had been so far. Very friendly and customer-oriented business.“
