“The restaurant Marché is one of my favorites in Marin County, a place where I had my 85th birthday party and where I can count on extraordinary food and service and ambience. The outdoor patio is delightful, and it's wonderful to be in a place where the noise level is low and manageable. We went on "hamburger night," and the hamburgers were cooked to perfection as requested, and the gnocchi ordered by another member of our party were as close to authentic as one can get (and I was raised in Italy). I would recommend Marché for those dinners that are special as well as more casual. It will never disappoint!“

We split the little gem salad..so fresh with the best dressing and the lardons were perfect. I had steak and my boyfriend had cassoulet. We could not have been happier. Great blends from Napa Valley , as good as any expensive vineyard , the owner blends and creates them for years, STRONG WINE, UNBELIEVABLE TASTE! The food is amazing, I’m a New Yorker and loved it ! The gluten free pasta was done to perfection! Wished I lived closer…we would be there every week! The ambiance and staff were inviting , and the owner is a vibe unto himself! “It has always been a mystery how nearly any small trattoria in Italy can serve magical food but even the priciest Italian restaurants in the US offer up insipid imitations. I am happy to report that you no longer need to fly to Italy for a proper meal. La Gastronomia is the equal of anything you will find in the old country, magnifico. Also, as in Italy, wines are priced reasonably.

I cannot get enough of the prime rib, the veggies were perfectly Al dente and the service superb!! Thank you Marin Joes for yet another wonderful meal!!!“

“Excellent yet again! Loved the service by Victor and his wine recommendation. Cavatelli with shrimp and pistachio is what I remember eating in Sicily. Vongole was fantastic as well. Victor's dessert suggestion of ricotta torta with cherries paired wonderfully with the last of the wine. Fabulous chatting with Tera again too. Will return sooner than later!“

“Piatti's never disappoints.  Beautiful sunny Marin evening on the lagoon with the fog creeping over Mt. Tam; recently remodeled with a great bar; open bustling kitchen; friendly bartender who makes whatever cocktail you like; and the dinner menu is outstanding. A+“

“Went ar Arrivederci at around 3 pm on Sunday. Not that busy. We got seated and got our drinks right away. We ordered Gnocchi and Risotto con brasatto. We also got a complimentary focaccia bread with garlic/herbs olive oil dipping. The Gnocchi was very creamy and has rich flavor. The Risotto was creamy and the 2 piece of beef short ribs were tender and juicy. The portion is a bit on a small side and a bit pricey ($28 each). I gave 4 star because the server was not attentive.“

“The restaurant is lovely, it feels like a small small trataria Italy. The service was perfect, very conscious of the customer's needs. The burrata salad was delicious as was the pizza. The pizzas are cooked, as one would expect in a wood fired stove and are absolutely the best in every way. I want to go back and go through the menu and eat every thing.“

“In town visiting. Wanted to try something a bit more local. We had dinner at Cafe Verde and very happy we did! Menu had a good selection of salads, Italian dishes, and pizza. Tried the mushroom stuffed sweet potato for a starter and it was delicious. We shared a beet salad and eggplant parmesan dish. Great! Finished the dinner with a slice of grandmother’s cake, a light crusted lemon custard dessert. Very tasty! The restaurant also had a good selection of beer and wine if you are interested is a beverage with dinner. We enjoyed our conversation with the waiter, everyone was happy to serve. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.“

“This place was excellent! A little hole in the wall right off of the 101. Me and my husband were driving home late from SF and wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. This place is open until 130 in the morning, so makes a great late night option. The crust is made of sourdough and is the perfect amount of crispy and chewy. The sauce was tangy and rich and the toppings tasted fresh. Overall 10/10. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about but the food and the guy making the pizzas were excellent and made the hole in the wall vibe. Will go again the next time I'm driving out of the city late at night.“

“Stefano's is our favorite work night pizza place! Thursday us pizza night at our house, and we stop by for quick slices and salad. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's also fun to listen to Brazilian Portuguese being spoken. All I can say is "Obregado!"“
