The pizzas are cooked, as one would expect in a wood fired stove and are absolutely the best in every way. I want to go back and go through the menu and eat every thing.“

“In town visiting. Wanted to try something a bit more local. We had dinner at Cafe Verde and very happy we did! Menu had a good selection of salads, Italian dishes, and pizza. Tried the mushroom stuffed sweet potato for a starter and it was delicious. We shared a beet salad and eggplant parmesan dish. Great! Finished the dinner with a slice of grandmother’s cake, a light crusted lemon custard dessert. Very tasty! The restaurant also had a good selection of beer and wine if you are interested is a beverage with dinner. We enjoyed our conversation with the waiter, everyone was happy to serve. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.“

“This place was excellent! A little hole in the wall right off of the 101. Me and my husband were driving home late from SF and wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. This place is open until 130 in the morning, so makes a great late night option. The crust is made of sourdough and is the perfect amount of crispy and chewy. The sauce was tangy and rich and the toppings tasted fresh. Overall 10/10. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about but the food and the guy making the pizzas were excellent and made the hole in the wall vibe. Will go again the next time I'm driving out of the city late at night.“

“My Father owned Brother's Pizza, a legendary New York Slice in the Bay Area. Therefore I am a pizza snob. He is no longer alive, but would salute Stefano's for a delicious pizza, and winning the Marin pizza war. I always come here when I am in central Marin. There is no better deal in the entire county than 2 fat crispy slices and a drink for $6.50. Pizza Princess approved. They have a chill table out front to enjoy your meal quickly.

Kid-friendliness: Its really more of a take out, but you could certainly stop for a quick lunch or dinner outside.

“The pizza here was very good. It was nicely sized and had great flavor. A full pizza costs about $18.50 and a slice costs about $6.50. The service was very good and the workers were very nice. It took a little while to get our food but it was worth it. The outside seating had a beautiful view of the bay. We even got our water in a bottle! “This is probably the best pizza I ever had. I really was surprised by the variety of pizza toppings they offered. We ordered a half n half of the Shroomer and the Lemon Arugla and the Kale Ceasar. That salad was amazing super simple and fresh just parmesan croutons and dressing. The pizza's were delicious I loved the 6 different types of mushrooms on the Shroomer. The egg on the lemon arugula was surpsringly delightful. I love the lemon zest that their ranch has and I highly recommend getting the chili paste it's an excellent different way of doing the chili flakes. I think I like the paste more than the flakes you get at most pizza places.“
