They have the choice between traditional pork slices or slices of the most tender chicken breast. You place orders on a ticket so each person orders exactly as they want. “Great food when in the mood for udon noodles or Ramen. Every dish tasted amazing and there was a variety of choices to include appetizers. Plenty of seating after pouring in your order at the kiosk. Once you're number is called you pick up your order and add spices, oils, ginger,etc as you want to your dish. When done you bring your trays to a stacked area (kind of full). Plenty of parking up front and the restrooms were clean.“

“Okay, okay…yes, first ramen experience! I know, I know…I’m not a long noodle guy and def not a slurper, so I’ve always kinda avoided it. Had the chicken broth here, and it was really good. This is for the peeps who have yet to try…do it. Tastes amazing and you won’t regret it. Still not sure how to cut down the large pieces of chicken in the broth with chopsticks, but that’ll be for my second visit.“

“This place is excellent service and it's like a super market and have fresh fish, lobster and any kind of sea food. This place has fresh sushi made there and all kinds of variety. They also have a eatery that's reasonable prices and they also have all meat and they weigh it by the pound and it's fully cooked. All the vegetables and fruit are always fresh. If you love Asian food this is the place to get everything you need. They also have stuff for woman and all the products that they need to take care of themselves. They also have a place for the kids and toys are all Japanese made. They also have a section that has hard liquor and beer of all kinds. I would recommend this place to everyone to go. It's the best experience and the people are very respectful to the customers.“

The tonkotsu broth was thick and creamy, with a deep pork flavor that lingered perfectly. I got the spicy level 2—it was hot but not overwhelming. Gyoza were crisp on the outside, juicy inside. “Excellent service and food! Our family are regulars there and we joined them for lunch and had a delicious meal. Shout out to Abel and the entire lunch crew. “Stopped by Kyuramen in Arcadia and tried a good spread of their menu. We ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, Miso Ramen, Rice Burger, Pork Tonkatsu Omurice Combo, Honeycomb Platter, Matcha Tiramisu, and grabbed milk tea from TBaar after. The pork tonkatsu omurice combo was probably my favorite of the night. The egg was cooked perfectly, and the table-side cut where it spills over the rice was done really well. The honeycomb platter was also a highlight — a nice mix of different bite-sized appetizers that made it easy to share and try a few things at once. The ramen was solid, and the rice burger was fun to switch things up from the usual. After eating, we walked straight over to TBaar since it’s literally connected, which was super convenient. The milk tea hit the spot and was a nice way to wrap things up without having to drive anywhere else. Overall, it was a good experience and a place I’d come back to if I’m in the area and in the mood for Japanese comfort food with options beyond just ramen.“

“First off, their cheap on the a/c. Place was very hot from the sun beating on the glass windows. Speciality rolls we order were very salty. Salmon didnt have a fresh taste or the white lines throughout but the yellowtail was nice and fresh. Staff was fun and gave great service. Room was clean with an authentic atmosphere and added main stream music.“

“It couldve been because I was early, dining in and the broth didn't develop a bitter after taste from over cooking, but it's been awhile since I've had good ramen. The champion ramen had a good mixture of wet and dry flavors. Chashu + seaweed had a subtle fish dry taste vibe which is new. Noodles were chewy and not clumpy mouth feel. Broth and ground pork were rich but not overly. Overall taste + texture was superb and especially warming during the winter. Also the waiter Rick is such a homeboy and service is amazing.

“Recently had lunch as a first-timer, and I enjoyed my meal. I've been eyeing this place for awhile, thanks to social media. The menu offers plenty of tasty options, from ramen to sushi and sushi rolls, udon, soba, rice bowls, and more. Vegetarian options are also available.

I ordered the Spicy Ramen along with a couple of pieces of nigiri sushi. The Spicy Ramen has a flavorful pork-and-chicken broth that's not too heavy, and the spice level is medium. Ask for more spice if you like the heat. The pork chashu was thin, but very tender and tasty with a bit of melt-in-the-mouth fat still.

I also ordered yellowtail sushi and seared peppered salmon sushi. Both cuts were delicious and prepared well.

The staff was kind and attentive. The dining area is spacious with plenty of tables and is kept clean. Some pleasant-looking decor as well. Parking can be tricky as the plaza has other popular businesses, and the lot can fill up fast. Can't wait to try more of the menu soon.“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Came here for Father & Daughter Valentine’s Day Lunch. First thing that stood out was how beautiful the interior was, my daughter and I loved being able to sit in the booths. The food was great, a little pricey but that’s expected with Sushi. I recommend getting the mushrooms as an appetizer! I also want to give a shoutout to Megan who was our server that day. She was really sweet and attentive, really enjoyed her positive spirit while we were there. I managed to get a Polaroid with her that they were doing for Valentines Day. Overall great lunch. “Very surprised that we got to eat good sushi for such good price! You can tell that they’re good because they give you a huge piece of sashimi on a tiny ball of rice. Honestly all sashimi were good, but the fried calamari!!! SO GOOD!! The atmosphere is also very clean and modern, very comfortable. I think near the end, they got too busy because some of our food didn’t arrive and our time was up while we waited, but the girl that helped us was very friendly and helped us get our order! There was another girl that was kinda rude to us when we first asked her for another menu because we had 8 people and one menu wasn’t enough for all of us to look at. “They have all kinds of authentic Japanese style ramen. Also a Menudo variation if your curious, tastes good by the way. Several appetizers like Coconut Srimp. And lots of Japanese dishes. I had the Omarice with Pork Cutlet on this visit. Although I usually have the Ramen. One of my favorites.“

Delicious! A friend brought me here,since im still fairly new to the area. Its tiny not big, its cozy. It feels like your in a different place,which is cool. Our waiter was great,service was awesome too. We got there just before 5 o'clock. It was full,but we still go seated quickly. The ramen soup bowls are what we both had. It was super yummy! Also had potstickers, California roll..everything was good. We split the bill. Overall really good experience.“

“I often come here with my girlfriend when it's cold. The food has good portions and is always nice and hot. I'm not quite sure why many of the reviews are hating on the cashier lady. Never had a bad experience with her, she doesn't talk much but is friendly if spoken to. Overall I enjoyed the food. Been coming here many years and will continue to do so.“
