“We visited Seasons Coffee Roasters this morning and we could not have possibly asked for a better way to start our day. The food was cooked to absolute perfection, was fresh as can be and hit the spot entirely. The hot mocha latte was to die for with such a classy design of hearts in the cream, the iced caramel latte phenomenally brewed, and don’t even get us started on the grilled cheese panini. The crunch of the crust and the oozing of each bite literally made us forget every care in the world, the prosciutto and bruschetta absolutely unrivaled, and to top it off the snickerdoodle cookie was as expertly made as we could ever hope for. The customer service was out of this world, huge thanks to Sam who made sure we were taken care of in every way. And the coffee shops vibe and energy provided the most pleasant vibe and energy so much so that we will most definitely visit again. Highly recommend.“

“Wow! Do i miss this Cafe! I spend many cherished times with Owner Gus, his beautiful wife and family. I once had my records at his shop and use to hold events around music. Gus and his staff took me as a family member and have memories and fellowship with Gus, his family, the folks who ventured through the area and the locals who were frequently seen day by day. Gus and his family are not only a legacy but an opportunity to be encouraged every time i use to visit. The food and drink that are served are thoughtful. yummy and reliable. Gus and staff in the past would willingly make whatever i had in mind.In my opinion the price is so reasonable that you can have a bite of food or drink more often than not. Since moving to other areas of the country CyberJava remains the best experience of ANY cafe of any state in the country i have lived in the years gone by. Thank you Gus and family you are a lighthouse and a refuge to your community.“

“Scorpio in Midtown is definitely a cool spot, but it comes with some trade-offs. I’d tried to go a couple of times before and walked away because of the long line both inside and out. Third time was the charm. We happened to pass by on a Monday, no line, and grabbed the last table outside.

The outdoor seating was honestly the biggest downside. The table looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in a while, and the planter next to us had food scraps and trash in it, which attracted a lot of flies. Sitting there wasn’t the most comfortable experience. Inside, the ordering area feels cramped and chaotic. The line would flow better if it ran in another direction, and given how busy they are, they really need at least two cashiers.

That said, the food and coffee were excellent. We ordered the avocado toast, pumpkin spice latte, mushroom bread, and oatmeal. everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The vibe overall is fun and modern, though the staff isn’t particularly friendly. It has that “we’re popular so we don’t have to try too hard” energy, which some people love for the exclusivity, but it’s not really my thing.

In short: great coffee, great food, cool atmosphere, but crowded, a bit unfriendly, and the outdoor seating area could use more care. I’m still giving this place 5 stars. It might not be my cup of tea, but it’s gonna work for other people.“

“Nice spot. Went on a Saturday around 11:40 am. Already completely out of pastries. It’s a massive space and surprisingly was pretty empty. Seemed like 4 to 5 workers not on shift were just hanging out.

Had a burrito. It’s premade and they heat / toast it. It was decent but overpriced for something thag premade.

“Passed by this Dutch Bros location on Kiefer Blvd earlier this afternoon. This is My first time going to this Dutch Bros location in the Rosemont area of Sacramento. I pressed the button at the walk-up window for help. I was greeted by the barista. I ordered a Large Caramelizer Blended with whipped cream on top and caramel swirl all around it. I paid in cash for My order. The service was quick and easy. I was the only person at the walk-up window. My experience at this Dutch Bros location was very good. Honestly, I prefer Dutch Bros over Starbucks.“

“Chocolate Fish Roasters on Freeport Boulevard is a great-looking café with solid food and coffee. The avocado toast and nut butter toast were both delicious, and the Americano was smooth and strong. The interior has a nice upscale vibe, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating if you want to sit in the sun.

Parking, however, is a pain. You’ll likely end up walking a quarter mile unless you luck out with a spot. It’s a true neighborhood café, which is nice, but it’s definitely not easy to access.

Now for the worst part…. The bathrooms. You need a key from the counter, which is wet, grimy, and clearly passed around all day. The bathroom itself feels neglected, with no paper towels and a weak hand dryer that just blows around bathroom air. You can’t even open the door cleanly afterward. It completely kills the premium feel of the place. The staff wasn’t especially friendly either, which didn’t help. Still, the food and coffee earn it five stars, but it’s wild that such a polished café has bathrooms that feel like a gas station’s.“

“I have been to a few of the Old Soul locations: The Alley, The Weatherstone & 555 capital mall. Each of them have a different vibe & feel and they are all great! My favorite is the weatherstone for its cozy & unique atmosphere. The food and coffee are always good at all the locations. The service has been excellent at 555 location! I am super excited about their newest location opening in Old Fair Oaks Village!!“

“Dutch Bros Coffee is a fabulous place for coffee drinks and variety of other types of drinks. This place is an excellent alternative to Starbucks and frankly, I believe Dutch Bros Coffee is better. I usually get a Mocha drink. I'll get an Ice Blended in the summertime or nice & hot in the wintertime. There coffee is very delicious, refreshing & soothing, which is how coffee should be. All the locations operate as a drive-thru with some of friendliest & good looking employees you'd ever want to meet taking your orders. Some locations also have walk-up service with a couple of patio tables outside so you can relax & enjoy your tasty drink right away.“

“Very trendy coffee/macha shop with an industrial vibe. I decided to give them a try and the place was packed with a younger crowd. Updating that this place has become even more popular and there's frequently a line out the door with waits for parking during popular times. I've actually driven past instead of going in a couple of times as I could see it was going to take too long. They don't offer advanced/online ordering - probably because they would get swamped even worse. But just be aware you could be in for a long delay.

Parking was a bit difficult as it's a smallish lot shared with multiple businesses, but lots of movement so shouldn't have to wait long.

I like my plain drip/brew coffees (or press/pour-over in fancier spots) so my baseline preference is a smooth, medium coffee without sharp or bitter notes. I usually add some sugar and a dash of dairy for my perfect cup.

Offbeat's blend didn't really do it for me. It's not bad but has some complex overtones that I'm not looking for. Their macha and espresso drinks are way more popular so think that's what I'll have to try next time.

I think they solidified a new rule of thumb for me where if a coffee shop doesn't have a station where I can add my own sugar and dairy (had to ask for it behind the counter here), I probably won't like their coffee.

Their staff was super friendly and fast and I really enjoyed the energy. Every seat was filled and there was a steady stream of customers. So if you want to enjoy your drink in an active environment then this is your place!

As a counterpoint I'd offer up 5-sips on Freeport for a much more mellow vibe and excellent coffee. Both are really good coffee shops but very different from each other. Definitely recommend trying out Offbeat though!“

“I love this place it's my go-to when I need my pick-me-up the staff is always super friendly even when the lines are long their service is super fast if you're not happy with your order they've always honored and exchange for something more to your liking everything on their menu is completely customizable on their menu just know you can get it exactly how you want it, also I love the fact that they have pups for a fuzzy family members at home!

Kid-friendliness: They always ask if the kid want something to drink and let you know that they do offer drinks without caffeine in them, my daughter loves to get a muffin top and one of their kids size shakes.“
