“I really enjoyed coming to this restaurant after our first visit here last Saturday. The service was great and our server explained the menu well. We ordered a plate of carne asada, ceviche, molcajete, and tacos. Everything tasted really fresh, well seasoned, and homemade. The serving size is more than filling. “This is a small family owned and run business. It is a hole in the wall but it is well established and been around for years. The locals find this place to be a true gym when craving fish. I personally don't eat fried food often but the food was good. Hush puppies were excellent, a little smaller than I expected. The fish was delicious and good size portions cooked to perfection! The coleslaw was not good at all! It was bland and tasted like mayonnaise and cabbage. I was highly disappointed in the coleslaw so I suggest you pass on it, don't waste your money. There is no service as you place your order at the counter and then they call your number to retrieve your food when it's ready. Only thing I can say is they are friendly and patient while you peruse the menu searching for what you want to eat. I highly recommend you stop by and try this place out if ever in the area! I just as highly recommend you skip the coleslaw! Parking is limited and can be a challenge for anyone who may not want to or can't walk too far. We got lucky as we went at the opening of the restaurant so we got front row parking right in front of the door. It is located in a busy strip mall so that is where I foresee it could be challenging. “Good tasting Mexican food. Service is good but slow when it comes to my order. It is my second time going in for lunch with my coworkers and my plate is the last one to come out of the kitchen. By the time my food gets to the table everyone is almost done eating. But the food is fresh and it's worth the wait.Vegetarian options: Chiles Rellenos Plate is a good vegetarian option.“

“Update: March 2024We came again Thursday for their new Prix fixe menu. You've got to try it! We had a tasty arugula salad with the perfectly tangy vinaigrette. The second course was short ribs with mashed potatoes and veggies. A little pepper would have helped, but still the meat was very tender, potatoes creamy and veggies with just the right crunch. Dessert was creme brulee, yum, one of my favorites.We had a large group and sat outside in the patio. The food was good. We tried several appetizers and they were excellent. My chicken dinner was only OK, but my husband loved his steam. Dewz, though, had an even better streak in his opinion. When the sun went down, there was outdoor heading and fire puts to keep us warm. Two nights later Surla's catered a dinner at the Vet Center and that was fantastic. We'll be back.“
“Only reason for not having 5 stars across, had an issue with a server who clearly did not want to be at work. Shortly after we were relocated with a new server and he was amazing! The manager corrected the issue with the original server although I was not happy with how fake the problemed server was after. I'd go back again for sure though.“

“I've been eating this Krispy krunchy Chicken since 2019 when I was driving truck in the Bay Area. As long as you get it fresh and hot it's good stuff to eat. The chicken sandwiches were really good though a lot of places don't sell them no more. And they had used to have a sauce called boom boom sauce cuz they don't sell anymore it was a hot spicy sauce that was really great. They started to bring the franchise towards the valley where I reside and it's hit and miss around Stockton California. There's a place down on Thornton Road that sells it nice and hot all the time and there's a place on Center and Park Street that sells it the full variety with the biscuits. There's a place on Waterloo a little gas station that sells it also but they hold back I guess they only make enough for the day because they have the option that whatever they don't sell you can buy cold chicken and what they called Snap bags you can buy them with food stamps. I would highly suggest that anybody that likes Fried Chicken try this chicken hot and fresh but like anything else a lot of fried chicken will clog up your arteries so you moderation in anything you do“
“At first we were hesitant to have dinner here, but everywhere you go in a Saturday night is always Jam Pack! This is a hidden gem for sur. It's not fancy, more like a diner vibe but very clean. The hostess and waitress were both very friendly and always kept checking g up on you mami g sure your drinks were topped off without even asking. Hubby ordered the grill salmon and I a lobster tail both cooked to perfection. The garlic shrimp was fresh and flavorful. Our least favorite item was the clams and mussels the were over cooked and lacked seasoning, compared to the devious garlic shrimp we ordered. I ordered a mojito I ask the hostess how they make them here soda verses sparkling water the bartender specifically came to our table and explained to me how they make it and how I would I like to have it he would do it. Needless to say it was perfection! Most defiantly going back again. This will be our new date spot the service was amazing, the place was clean and the food was fresh and delicious! We are so glad we found our new to go place.“
