“I had never heard of this restaurant (or been in downtown Novato) and didn't realize it had multiple locations. The entire menu sounded delicious. I got the ahi salad and was so happy with it. Staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was chill. I will absolutely be going back.“

You can tell the owner loves his customers and cares about his food as well..
I was sitting at the bar for about and hour. There were at least 3 different occasions, the door would open and people would come in, just to say Hi.

“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.“

“I’ve only been a customer here for about six months, but I have probably been a dozen times so far. The food is really healthy and doesn’t ever feel heavy, and they have a great variety of options, both sweet and savory. I love that there are both older people and younger parents with kids alike. Very pleasant staff, too!“

“Very nice space and lovely people running the restaurant. Take out experience is efficient. Dining room is comfortable, although somewhat chilly the last time we were there. Eggplant and lamb curries were outstanding. Most other dishes OK to good. Egg rolls not very good. Very reasonable prices.“

“Deli offerings are excellent and ample, the welcome is genuine, and they have treats of chocolate and candy in a bowl to top off meal. At long last, a deli that when asked, makes tasty gluten-free bread sandwiches (two small ones in an order) and they sell little loaves of g-f banana bread. Best ever!“

“This place is expensive, 10.00 for a 4 inch sandwich, but it's totally worth it! I got the BBQ brisket sandwich and YUM! The only downer is that the guy at the counter is hard to understand, which happens, but the look of disappointment he gave to anyone who didn't tip was not cool. I never tip the first time I go there. After the first time, if it's eat in, I tip, but carryout is a no.“

The falafel was served with a delicious tahini sauce that complemented the dish beautifully, adding a creamy richness that elevated the entire experience. I also appreciated the generous portion size—definitely a great value for the price!
