“We had Rompiballe Sandwich and The Milanese Sandwich. Our favorite one was The Milanese Sandwich even if both sandwiches were very tasty. It was very fresh and we liked the harmony of ingredients. Service was fast and we didn’t have a difficulty finding a table. I felt like I was in a nice sandwich shop in Firenze. Thank you!“

“Stopped by on a whim for a quick lunch to-go after a trip to Costco. Got an Italiano sandwich with garlic sauce. It was very fresh tasting and LOADED with meat! I could barely get my mouth around it. It was so big, I saved half for lunch tomorrow. Excellent tasting and a great bargain!“

“I go to Deli Man pretty often and the Killas Que always hits. Roast beef, cheddar, BBQ, and horseradish on any bread is a good combo. Everything tastes fresh and the flavors come together really well. Honestly, Deli Man is one of those spots you can always count on when you’re hungry and want something good.“

“Can I give them 10 stars, because they deserve that. By far the best Pastrami sandwiches ever. I tried the Italian Cousin Vinny and the meatballs too. Every sandwich was amazing, tasty and delicious. The service was excellent and quick. I’m definitely going back to try the rest of their menu. They have 11 options just for Turkey. How incredible!“

“I came in here for the first time in years. A kind relative of mine used to own this place back in the day when it was called Charlie’s Market. He ran it for over thirty years and made the best sandwiches.
The other day, I was walking by after stopping at Day Moon and decided to peek inside to see if it still looked the same as it did when he was around. It did, and it brought back so many nostalgic feelings.
I decided to come back the following week to try a sandwich, and today I finally did. I ordered a turkey sandwich, nothing fancy, just a solid, classic turkey sandwich. I added avocado and pepperoncinis. The Oven Gold turkey was delicious, and the Dutch crunch bread was so good. Everything tasted fresh and was a great size.
Definitely grab a sandwich here on a beautiful day and head to the beach. The customer service was great, too.“

“This is my 31st sandwich review (according to another app). Snack Sensei put Grand 7 on my radar (again), I’ve been hearing about it since I moved back from Hawaii in 2019. My apologies to the community because I truly did not understand how fire this place is.
It has officially taken my top sandwich spot. Sorry, Gherkin’s.
My partner’s job ordered catering, and lucky for me there was still an Italian on Dutch crunch at the end of the event. He snagged it for me. And let me just say: some might say a sandwich is a sandwich. Wrong.
The way the fresh ingredients and flavors marry together is just perfect. The bread to sandwich ratio is perfect and that catering order must have extra protein. The quality of the meat is far superior. And the mayo? Listen… if you know anything about Hawaii, you know we are serious about our mayonnaise.
The best part: I had half fresh on Wednesday and saved the other half for a field trip with my class on Friday and it was just as good. TWO days later.
Now I just need to find time to get there in person (limited hours!) because my friend swears they have the best chopped cheese he has ever had better than New York. If you’re looking for the best sandwich in the Bay Area, get here now.“

“Whenever I’m in SF I eat here at least once or twice a week. Their deli sandwiches are so damn good; I usually get a BLT w crispy bacon and deli turkey on sour dough. The owner is also the sweetest guy. They have so many good sandwiches tho, definitely worth a visit. OH their homemade ravioli is delicious too“

“What a great find on our ride home! We got to talk to Gordo and hear the fabulous story about how his family has preserved his Mama's recipes. The food was fresh, delicious and made to order, and met our craving for a great deli! They were able to accommodate my mom's dietary limitations. The sandwiches were huge in a good way! Try the Cubano or the Philly. YUM! We tried their mama's meatballs and had to take some home for dinner. Thanks Gordo!“

“This is one of those local bakeries that flies under the radar. It’s cozy, simple, and definitely not flashy or trendy—but that’s part of its charm. It feels like a neighborhood spot rather than a destination café, and while it’s usually pretty quiet inside, you can tell it has its regulars, especially during the lunch rush.
What absolutely steals the show for me is their Vietnamese sandwich. It’s honestly one of my comfort foods. The sandwiches are huge—especially for the price point, which feels more than fair. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the bread deserves its own praise: it’s crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside (not flaky), which makes every bite satisfying.
I usually don’t stay to eat, but I do want to mention how kind the owner is. She’s genuinely sweet and thoughtful—she once told me that if I’m ever in a rush, I can call ahead to place my order. And if they don’t pick up the first time, she encouraged me to call back again and reassured me they’d take care of it. That small interaction really stuck with me and says a lot about the care they have for their customers.“

“The breakfast burrito here is genuinely excellent. I went for the sausage this time, with the chorizo firmly on my list for tomorrow. What impressed me most was how well it held up on the walk home, still piping hot after 30 minutes, cheese perfectly melted throughout. The balance is spot on too; not overly loaded with potato, which lets the other flavours shine.
The salsa that comes with it is a standout in its own right, and the tortilla deserves a mention also, warm, flaky, and clearly fresh, whether they make them in house or not. Brilliant value all round. Highly recommended!“

“Kelly's Deli is about the best deli between here and there...well Colma for sure! So, after putting a half bottle of Wild Turkey on my old pal Strongate's grave like I do every year at Christmas time I go have a nice lunch, and today it's going to be Kelly's Deli! “A very nice clean store and deli, really loved the variety of salads in the deli. Being on vacation and eating mostly at restaurants it is a refreshing food option for lunch that if you choose right can be a little healthier. Nice guys behind counter, a must stop if I am staying in this area.“

“Amazing! Landed at SFO around 1am EST (10pm Local) and was wanting a bite, looked up the best places near my gate and found Klein’s Deli. Asked a worker what their favorite was and they said their famous sandwich is “The mission”. They were very nice and made my sandwich very fast! Even the woman who checked me out helped point me in the direction of where I could get some water. Very sweet staff, and an amazing sandwich! Definitely will be coming back here on my next trip to SFO!“

“We recently ate here during our vacation in Pacifica. I actually heard of the restaurant from a tiktok video. We ordered the steak sandwhich and they were delicious!! The meat was so tender and juicy 🤤. I ordered mine with light onion and mayo and it was just perfect! It was a nice chill spit to grab lunch. I can't wait to be back in the area (I am from PA) and grab a bite again!!“

“Thanksgiving 2025 went to pick up ham the day before Thanksgiving at 7:30AM. As expected there was a brief line, although early and some confusion about the line, even though there was only one line. I remember the employee from last year (when I made the mistake of picking up the ham day before Thanksgiving at 5:30PM never again). An employee came out (older black man with pretty green eyes) and was doing his best to announce the difference of lines pre-paid versus reservation/non pre-paid. What can I say, people just don’t listen but he came out periodically to ensure any new customers in the line knew which line. The wait was about 15min in the pre-paid line to pick up ham. The staff allowed me to pick up 2 sweet 12-ct Hawaiian roll bags. The ham was gooooddddd!!!!“

“I had lunch at Roma Deli and ordered a chicken sandwich that was delicious.
The person who served me was patient and professional, from our phone conversation all the way to the in-person order.
The place is clean, tidy, the team is great and the service was quick, I barely waited. Fresh ingredients.
I was going through a stressful situation as my flight at San Francisco Airport was disrupted and I had been given hotel and meal vouchers. Roma Deli accepted the meal vouchers without any hassle, which I really appreciated.
I would definitely recommend this place to international travelers staying nearby, or anyone simply looking for a great sandwich. Thank you“
