“Only had the pizza, wings, beef lamb wrap and fries so far the few times I was at Tanforan. Fries were decent, wings were good (not dry), pizza was great (love thin crust), and the meat in the wrap was good, not dry and the wrap was very filling and wrapped tight. Overall I’ll give 5/5, and the staff was very nice as well. Will come back again if I gotta pick up another game or watch movie“

“Ever thought of trying a local small business, family restaurant. The guy who runs this place came from Turkiye in 2008. Settled down in SFO, had a family and is living an American dream.
His only complaint is SFO is expensive. Well we can all agree to that.
Food is very tasty.
We tried falafel wrap, chicken gyro and kids gyro with rice. All of these were of great quality. Plus the Turkish delight was fabulous. Owner shared Turkish tea on the house. Plus I ordered fries in kids meal but it came with rice instead. No worries he added fries and refused to take money for it. Well I made it up in the tip.

“The kebabs were so good, I don't think I've ever had kebabs that even came close to these. We came in kind of late but they were still friendly and served us a lovely meal. The hummus was flavorful and had depth, usually garlic is overpowering but not here. Even the dressing on the salad was delicious. I wish we lived closer.“

The cook whipped up our order in a flash- she was done by the time we had finished paying at the counter!
The ingredients were fresh and portion sizes absolutely perfect.

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“

“Little Joey Skidmark lives just a half block away from Big Baba in that little funky yellow house, so when he asked me for a ride home from pier 3 I said as long as you sit on your jacket and keep the window down, because I don't want a stained seat in my truck. So he got a ride home, and I got to enjoy the world famous grilled chicken sandwich from Big Baba Eats! I got it without the grilling, and it was Amazing! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Oh my goodness. Such a gem in the rough. Amazing food in the middle of an industrial area. I'm an old fat white guy, and the meal defeated me. For the first time in a long time, I needed a doggy bag. The Shawarma were delicious as were the pickled veggies and cole slaw. The Arabic coffee was to die for. So rich and thick!“

The menu is unique, exciting, and full of delicious flavors you don’t often come across in the neighborhood. Everything we tried was thoughtfully prepared and so tasty. “Our party of four came on a Wednesday evening at 7:30pm. Neighborhood parking is a bit challenging due to the popularity of the area with all the businesses there, but we found a 2 hr. spot (enforced until 9pm) after a couple loops. We ordered the house sampler plate, shish kabob, beet salad, the zahara bil tahini (cauliflower), halloumi, chicken shawarma, and for dessert, we had kanafeh, qatayef, halawa o buza. Everything, including the complimentary Palestinian dips with pita chips, was absolutely delicious- fresh and beautifully presented. It was hard to pick a favorite but I really liked the cauliflower! Two members of my party ordered a mocktail called Cinderella, and they were raving about it. The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures; we were too excited. I did remember while we were waiting for dessert, so there is one dessert picture in this review.

Our server, Lina, was attentive and very kind, and the other servers and staff were also very nice, professional, and polite. It was obvious that the staff wanted us to have a wonderful evening and we truly did. It is a very welcoming restaurant with lovely decor, excellent food and nice people. We can’t wait to come back and try more items!“
