“reminds me of Taiwan, specifically a typical cafe in Gaoxiong, which is the most comparable place to SD in the US. It's spacious, comfortable (cushion for butts without cushion), family-friendly, pet-friendly, games for kids, a piano: it's basically a day-care center. The decoration is very DIY and neat, which is what really gave me Taiwan vibes. Yellow lights (I don't know why other shops use bright white office lights..) They know how to decorate on a budget. Clean bathroom. Clearly a family business. The owners are from Guangdong, but theyre quite different from the city people. Maybe San Diego slowed them down.. If this is the vibe of SD, I'm def lovin' it!

drinks are pricey, $6+ with boba. Boba isn't free. Standard milk tea is solid, but even at 30% sweetness, it's quite sweet. Egg puff for $5 is cute.

“first off, going into the boba shop was the first of its kind! i never seen anything like their decor and i really appreciated the mid-century look. it brought a coziness to the place. the owner Vy, was happy enough to talk about her decoration style and where her inspiration came from. the drinks were also immaculate! i went to this place several times while i was in san diego and ordered several different drinks on the menu, none of them disappointed! im not usually a boba drinker either so i think that says a lot. if you’re ever in the area, you should get the lucy lou or the blessamee :) also, if you see a small dog roaming the grounds, her name is lucy and she’s an adorable little mascot you have to say hi to! overall the ambience, drinks and the staff were all super nice and accommodating!“

Their churro donut is phenomenal and light, but what really impressed me was when we went off menu and I asked for a taro coconut item. One of the girls said that she likes those two best when they are mixed together in a smoothie and...she did not disappoint. The taro coconut smoothie is better than anything I have tried in Orlando. In addition, I decided to try something new and asked for the pink coconut milk tea (essentially it was strawberry and coconut). Once again, I LOVED the drink. I hope I do come back to San Diego soon and bring family along with me because I loved the atmosphere, employees/customer service, and menu items.

Seasonal drink: rice oolong milk tea has a distinctive roasted rice taste with the oolong tea as the base. Adjust sugar and ice level to your preference to bring the toasted rice flavor out. I usually even ask for more tea and less tea.

My other favorite is the celyon milk tea. Bobas are cooked perfectly to the correct chewiness.

“This place has grown on me. I avoided this place because I’ve been dieting but the times that I’ve treated myself and my wife has never disappointed. So far the drinks have been great. The fruity pebz is sweet and delicious, and their Vietnamese coffee has you feeling so caffeinated with good energy. Their food options aren’t bad here either with their chicken fries. The atmosphere here is so nostalgic specifically to me it feels like it has a cool older big brother mid 2000’s gamer vibe almost like an Internet cafe style. It’s small but it gets the job done in terms of waiting to get your order and killing time while you wait. The workers themselves play a huge part. They are always so nice and polite (you guys need a tip jar btw). Overall been here a couple times and have never regretted it. They also treat their military patrons well offering discounts where applicable and love that they would give out those bogo deal coupons. They need to keep up what they’re doing! 👍🏽😁“

I got a floral milk tea, a slush, a fruit tea, and a coffee and ALL of them were shockingly good!! I can tell they use fresh, real ingredients cuz it has that fragrant potency you don’t get from pre-mixes/powders, and you can even see the pieces like even for my milk tea there were remnants of osmantheus in it which I was happy to find cuz I love osmanthus. The purple rice they have as a topping was AMAZING I was not expecting it to be so yummy!! And the coffee is legit! I’m picky with my boba but even more picky with my coffee so this place is my new go-to!!
