“I absolutely love this tea spot. The atmosphere here is full of life and inviting and the customers service here is amazing. Now let’s talk about the matcha — WOWWW!! It’s seriously amazing! Rich, smooth, perfectly balanced… you can tell they use high-quality matcha and take real care in preparing it. It’s easily one of the best I’ve ever had, and I find myself craving it constantly.

One of the coolest things about this place is that they switch out their tea flavors every month, which keeps things exciting and fresh. It’s always a treat to come in and see what new seasonal or creative blends they’ve come up with. I love that they’re always experimenting and keeping their menu dynamic.

“We got a variety of Donuts and some drinks for a pretty good price. Everything was delicious, so we went back in to get some taiyaki. For sure coming back here another time!

“reminds me of Taiwan, specifically a typical cafe in Gaoxiong, which is the most comparable place to SD in the US. It's spacious, comfortable (cushion for butts without cushion), family-friendly, pet-friendly, games for kids, a piano: it's basically a day-care center. The decoration is very DIY and neat, which is what really gave me Taiwan vibes. Yellow lights (I don't know why other shops use bright white office lights..) They know how to decorate on a budget. Clean bathroom. Clearly a family business. The owners are from Guangdong, but theyre quite different from the city people. Maybe San Diego slowed them down.. If this is the vibe of SD, I'm def lovin' it!

drinks are pricey, $6+ with boba. Boba isn't free. Standard milk tea is solid, but even at 30% sweetness, it's quite sweet. Egg puff for $5 is cute.

“I absolutely love this place, the drinks are fantastic, cheap and large, the chicken is phenomenal as well! I'd recommend this place to everyone WITHOUT hesitation. I've been here a handful of times and only once did they mess up my drink order. The only complaint I have is just that, tonight on 2/18 I ordered a tigers milk tea with honey Boba and it's a travesty but they forgot to add the creme brulee pieces which is too bad because it's not even close to as good trading without those pieces, it changes the texture of the drink and most importantly without those pieces it completely changes the flavor of the drink. It is still good just not the same.“

“One of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. This place knows exactly what a sandwich is supposed to be. It's filled with all the veggies you expect and you pick the protein you desire. I'll tell you this much... anything you order is going to taste good. We had thai tea and mango drink as well as egg roll and sesame balls with bean curd. So good!!! I got
Taro fresh milk tea - not too sweet
Omomo matcha - weird clouds of salty something (edit - was cheese clouds, I am not a fan but my friend is. They're like these rich, slightly salty dairy blobs that surprise you when you stick your straw over them)
Angry matcha - I did not see the espresso shot at the top, so it seemed like a regular matcha drink to me.
Itchy Peach - same cheese clouds but with a peach slush, pretty nice if you like those 2 things
Second Momo - peach drink with tea base, has a nice tea after taste and small cut peaches, refreshing and not too heavy

There is no inside seating. There is often a line, but it moves pretty fast. The drinks are still $5-8, but for the quantity and quality, it’s a deal compared to the places that use powders. I almost think the drinks are too big because it’s a lot of milk, sugar, and depending on what you order, caffeine. These drinks have kept me up all night. Usually I wouldn’t complain because more is better, but this is a little too much.

The quality is good, and the drinks are well executed. Still not the most amazing tea drinks I’ve ever had but a good choice if you want something to sip on.“

“This Bao Bar in Liberty Market Place, San Diego, makes the best bao bun we have ever eaten. We were at a 3 day conference in the Brick and we got a couple of the buns every day. The buns are fresh, fresh, we chose the pork filling which also had a little cabbage, which you will see in the photo

“From day one YoYo was terrific. She intently listened to what I wanted and from there recommended their house tea blend. But it did not stop there, she created a concoction that was not so sweet and not loaded with tea or ice. Gotta tell you it was perfect! And here is the best part, I have been going back to get this drink consistently for the last few months and each time she makes it perfect. Others have tried, but just cannot get it right (besides Diane who by the way is also terrific). Suffice to say I am a loyal customer and appreciate all the effort and attention these two women put into making my drink. YoYo is phenomenal and a true asset to this location. “Honestly underrated, great service and drinks were great. Honestly the plaza's most underrated boba spot. Its only because they are extremely close in proximity to a boba shop that serves drinks on par with them, only difference being a slight change in ambience. Initially, I considered the mango pineapple tea, but since it was afternoon and I wanted to avoid caffeine, I opted for the caffeine-free sparkling strawberry lime tea instead. The staff member was helpful in confirming caffeine or not, and the order was prepared quickly. While the tea tasted good, I found the strawberry purée a bit heavy, as I prefer smoother teas without pulp. Next time, I'll choose a tea without purée. Overall, I would recommend this refreshing option.“

-passion fruit green tea, boba included for $6.05

Pricing was more normal than other places haha...boba was cooked well. Tea flavor could definitely be a bit stronger.

I don’t get boba very often as I’ve found that sometimes it’s not worth the hype, but it was on the better side.I found the staff to be helpful, the establishment was clean, and they had tables outside to enjoy the summer. Overall, I would say it’s best than most spots and I would actually come back.It’s in the corner of a little shopping center though meaning parking is tight.“
