“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“

“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. Our guests were blown away and we couldn’t have been happier. We recommend Vinarius to everyone we know and that is thanks to Giuseppe and his awesome staff. Grazie mille!“

“Came to TNT on the recommendation of a local and holy f*** balls I was blown away. If I had the disposable income I’d buy a private jet and fly to San Diego to eat here once a week and fly home, my carbon foot print would look like a slice of their pizza and I would okay with it cause my belly and soul would be content. If your looking for a thin crispy pizza then you'll love this location. They sell a select few pizza by the slice options & these slices are bigger than the plate they give you. They also sell whole pizzas with more options we are looking forward to trying one next.“

“Ordered pizza thin crust. Taste was great but failed the stiff crust test. This on you pizza makers. 12 inch pie takes slightly less than one ladle of sauce. Put a little less cheese in the middle. Then the crust stays flat when you pick it up. Otherwise , you pick up the piece and all the toppings fall on the plate.“

“We had a Sunday brunch here. The over the top decor was a joy to be in the midst. The service was top notch. I was there for my birthday and they brought a wonderful, large slice of chocolate cake with a gold candle. Delightful. On the cons: The food was not memorable and no cappuccinos. Bottom line: I would return for a special occasion, take out of town guests here. just would lower my food expectations Everything else made up for it. It is a definite place to take out of town quests as it other worldly.“

“Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Harland Brewing & URBN Pizza! I recently hosted a birthday party for about 60 people at the Harland Brewing outdoor patio, and I can't say enough great things about the experience. We ordered pizza from URBN next door, which was a huge hit. The food was delicious, came out quickly, and paired perfectly with Harland’s excellent selection of beers.

I would highly recommend Harland Brewing and URBN Pizza for any event or gathering. Fantastic staff, great atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality.“

“I had a great experience at Filippi’s Pizza! The food was really good, everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Our server, Ashley, made the meal even better with her amazing service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. The atmosphere was nice, though it’s a little on the darker side inside — but honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience at all. I’d definitely come back and recommend Filippi’s to anyone looking for great pizza, eggplant parm, and excellent service!“

“This pizza was very delicious and flavorful! The reason why we took a star away was because we waited over 45 minutes for our buffalo chicken wings. This was on Saturday 03/15/25 around 8pm so we were there waiting till their closing time. They gave us 6 extra wings to compensate, so that was considerate. The ambiance and music is good too!“

We came in to celebrate and have a nice meal, and unfortunately other guests made our meal awkward and uncomfortable. We sat on the patio, and a there was a table that treated the restaurant staff so poorly over the food wait time. The guests were very displeased and making a big stink. Absolutely no fault of the restaurants, we felt extremely bad for all members of the staff. We found the staff to be extremely professional and very hardworking. We will definitely be back!!“

“We ordered the White pizza and added chicken, and also ordered the Lasagna pizza. Both pizzas were very good but I think the lasagna was my favorite.
The restaurant is clean and neat with plenty of seating both inside and out.
The staff is very friendly and greater us when we came in.
This is the type of place you order at the counter and they bring you the food. The pop/ soft drinks are coke products and they a serve you cans and not fountain drinks. They also have 5 gelato flavors that look great but I didn’t try them this time.

“First time here, visiting from Portland, OR. I knew they had "Gluten-free" listed on their menu, as newly diagnosed with Celiac Disease, it's some comfort that I might be able to eat something. I let the host know when our group arrived. After being seated, our server came up and confirmed with me that I had Celiac Disease and let me know which items were Celiac safe and how they were prepared. The Gluten-free gnocchi were fantastic, as was the Burrata appetizer. Thank you so much. Our Triplet Birthday group absolutely enjoyed ourselves.“

“We came for my husband's birthday and everything was great. We were impressed with the appetizer plate that had olives, tomatoes and cheese (for free!) This stood out when most restaurants just give you bread. Our server also brought us prosecco and dessert for my husbands birthday. Our meals were great - we shared the calamari, I got linguine with clams and my husband got the branzino. All great, not too crowded (it was a week night) and great service. Would recommend!“

“HillCrust Pizza is on a completely different level. I have eaten pizza all over Los Angeles and San Diego, but this place has something special that keeps me coming back. I actually make the drive from Beverly Hills just to eat here, and every time it feels worth it. The quality and consistency are unmatched.

The Loaded Hilly Philly Cheesesteak is my favorite item on the menu. The flavor is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the fact that they use halal grass fed meat makes it even better. It is without question one of the best Philly steaks I have ever had. Their pizzas are just as impressive. The dough is organic and non GMO, soft and airy yet with the perfect bite, and the San Marzano tomato sauce gives it a fresh, authentic taste.

I have tried just about everything here and it has all been excellent. The Golden Hill with Mike’s Hot Honey has the perfect touch of sweetness and spice. The Sunset Cliffs with pickled jalapeños has the kind of flavor that stays with you. Even the Margherita, which is usually simple anywhere else, is fresh and full of flavor here. What stands out most is that no matter what I order it always comes out consistent and delicious.

The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. The restaurant is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, making it the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your food without distractions. The staff is also friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

HillCrust Pizza is more than just a pizza place. It is a spot that takes quality seriously and delivers every time. For me it has become a destination, and if I am willing to drive from Beverly Hills just to eat here that should tell you how special it really is.“
