“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“

“If you are looking for a true Italian experience in San Diego, look no further than Vinarius! We worked with Giuseppe (owner) to host our wedding celebration here back in March, 2023. From the beginning, he was amazing to work with. Incredibly positive and accommodating from the start, we couldn’t have asked for more. The wedding ceremony was planned to be outside and of course, it rained that day. Guiseppe and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowed us to have the small ceremony inside the restaurant on short notice and made an incredible meal to follow. Our guests were blown away and we couldn’t have been happier. We recommend Vinarius to everyone we know and that is thanks to Giuseppe and his awesome staff. Grazie mille!“

“HillCrust Pizza is on a completely different level. I have eaten pizza all over Los Angeles and San Diego, but this place has something special that keeps me coming back. I actually make the drive from Beverly Hills just to eat here, and every time it feels worth it. The quality and consistency are unmatched.

The Loaded Hilly Philly Cheesesteak is my favorite item on the menu. The flavor is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the fact that they use halal grass fed meat makes it even better. It is without question one of the best Philly steaks I have ever had. Their pizzas are just as impressive. The dough is organic and non GMO, soft and airy yet with the perfect bite, and the San Marzano tomato sauce gives it a fresh, authentic taste.

I have tried just about everything here and it has all been excellent. The Golden Hill with Mike’s Hot Honey has the perfect touch of sweetness and spice. The Sunset Cliffs with pickled jalapeños has the kind of flavor that stays with you. Even the Margherita, which is usually simple anywhere else, is fresh and full of flavor here. What stands out most is that no matter what I order it always comes out consistent and delicious.

The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back. The restaurant is quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, making it the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your food without distractions. The staff is also friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better.

HillCrust Pizza is more than just a pizza place. It is a spot that takes quality seriously and delivers every time. For me it has become a destination, and if I am willing to drive from Beverly Hills just to eat here that should tell you how special it really is.“

“Food was amazing! We came in a bit late before closing and Zaw Zaw the owner kindly took us in to take our orders. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant as he wanted to find the perfect pizza recommendations for our table :). We tried the New Yorker, pepperoni mascarpone, potato, and the eggplant pizza! The pizza was fresh and the crust was perfect! He even came out to check on our table and converse with us. “Pete’s doesn’t disappoint. Great fast service, incredible flavor and cheap prices for the quality you get. Also, fishing tip… I ordered too much food and we had about half a coney dog left from my nephew (not sure how with how great they tasted but we ate too much) we used it for bait and instantly got hit when the whole group was skunked all day. “We ordered the White pizza and added chicken, and also ordered the Lasagna pizza. Both pizzas were very good but I think the lasagna was my favorite.
The restaurant is clean and neat with plenty of seating both inside and out.
The staff is very friendly and greater us when we came in.
This is the type of place you order at the counter and they bring you the food. The pop/ soft drinks are coke products and they a serve you cans and not fountain drinks. They also have 5 gelato flavors that look great but I didn’t try them this time.

Surprisingly fun sports bar that offers up great eats and refreshing drinks.

With a wide variety of beers on tap, the bartenders keep it flowing all day long, especially during game days.

The servers provide excellent service! Dina helped me out and was always checking in on me and my friend. Mich appreciated.

With a good amount of big screen TVs, raffles and shota after each score, it's definitely a fun time.

Respectful crowd, family and pet friendly, the only thing missing is parking! I don't knock them for it since it's not their fault.

There is tons of parking available but beware as you do have to pay the meters on Sundays now starting at 10am... Not a big problem, I just hopped down to another meter once my time was up, which just happened to be halftime.

I'll be back again for sure.

“Took a little while to be seated although I had a reservation and was there on time. Otherwise, the service was on point. Cocktail was perfect and there's a nice wine list, including a good selection of regional Italian wines by the glass. I had the lamb chops, which were perfectly cooked. Portion was large. The vegetables and reduction accompanying the lamb were delicious.“

“My new Go-To spot for Pizza in San Diego! I'm from out of state and man some of the best thin pizza I've had in years. And best overall pizza I've had lately.

The Owner's are very respectful and amazing service. Tip them big to support them as a local business and not corporate. I ate here 3 days in a row while I was in town. You won't get bloated like from other thick pizza spots since it's not heavy on bread or grease.
