“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. Their menu includes breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, avocado toasts, old fashioned oatmeal, and build-your-own scramblers. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Reasonably priced, good portions. I had the 10pc sushi roll plate, and upgraded to steamed veggies, but they came litly steamed, closer to raw than cooked. Edamame was good (hard to not make that peoperly).

My friend had the bento box w/chicken teriyaki. Salad dressing comes in 1oz to go containers, despite us dining in restaurant.

“We sat outside ìn the patio area. Our server was friendly and patient giving us time to chat and browse the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal, drinks and my water glass was kept full as our server kept an eye on us always checking to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend the Twisted Sage Cafe.“

“I’ve been coming here for years. I figured it’s time to rate a restaurant that I find truly truly exemplary.

I love it. Period. It’s yummy. The service is great. It gets soooo busy during lunch. The wait is always worth it.“

“Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price.

The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size.

Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.“

“Their service was excellent. it was quick service, with hot pizza and cold crisp salad. The ranch tasted homemade. The pizza was not greasy like most pizzas. The crust was lite and fluffy. It had a crisp cheesy flavor. The dough was perfect. The look of the pizza is appealing. Overall a 5 star rating.“

From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. Aurora at the bar was truly exceptional!! Her service was top-tier, fabulous, friendly, and professional. She made us feel right at home and elevated our entire experience. The rest of the staff were equally wonderful, attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do.

“Great small sandwich shop. Been coming here for a while. Have not tried the burgers, plates, or bowls. Fairly simple lunch shop where you can get something decent to eat. Not good for large groups, but if you have a work meeting you want to get food for, imagine that what they prepare would be enjoyed. Staff was fine. Parking, counter, seating and entrance accessible, plenty of parking, not hard to get to or leave.“

“An all around SOLID American (multi-cuisine) restaurant. This is my first time, but not my brother-in-law’s first time here. He enjoys the lunchtime burgers, but today we were there for breakfast. I usually establish my review opinions by ordering a breakfast burrito. My eye was caught by the ‘all meat’ breakfast burrito. You will notice that it had sausage, ham, and bacon with the usual hashbrowns and eggs. It was enormous, as described on the menu. My brother-in-law got the pancakes and eggs with sausage. The pico de gallo and salsa were spot on and made the breakfast burrito a hit compared to what I usually find in the area. I’m not a small guy and I can eat a pretty decent amount. I had to bring half of my burrito home. I also like that I could self serve my 3 cups of coffee. They had vanilla creamer, and the coffee did not have that typical bitter, weak, diner taste. I’m sold on their breakfasts. Soon, I will return to give lunch a go-around. Photos with iPhone 13.

“I have been coming here for several years. The owner is nice lady who did all her own cooking and the food was super and authentic. Now she has taken the food to new level. Amazing menu with a fantastic chef/owner. She also has hired a superb waiter named Lucky. I have been going to this Chinese fast food place for almost 20 years. Even though they keep the same menu and cook the same food, but I have not seen the quality goes down, or the price going up too much. Especially in this inflation everywhere Era, I have seen many restaurants raise the price, or just give you half amount of food, this restaurant is really doing an honest business. Therefore, I think that it is a very good place for you to eat something good and fast.“

“I moved to Pomona from Horsham in Montgomery County Pennsylvania (Philly suburbs) in July for veterinary school. I just ordered a cheesesteak and an Italian hoagie. I’m honestly not even finished eating it yet, but I couldn’t wait to tell you how amazing everything is. “We have been eating here for the last couple of years, and we love it. The food is nice and fresh. Prices are not expensive. I mainly go for sashimi, yellowtail! The place is well serviced and always clean. On weekends, it gets packed. My reccomendation, go on their yelp several minutes in advance, make the reservation, and this will save you time. Its cool and fun spot to celebrate a birthday. I will continue to come back to this spot!“

“The young woman in front who helped me was so nice & polite & courteous. She was consistent with each customer making sure to acknowledge everyone. Her father came in I’m assuming maybe to pick her up soon & their relationship is so sweet, the whole team that shift seem to get along very well. Good energy. And it was clean. Usually when I go to a pizza place to pick up, I’d rather wait in car but this store felt comfortable enough to wait inside.“
