“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. For lunch and dinner, they offer sandwiches, Paninis, burritos, Cuban sandwiches, veggie sandwiches, wraps, salads, combos, kids' menu, bagels, and more. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Reasonably priced, good portions. I had the 10pc sushi roll plate, and upgraded to steamed veggies, but they came litly steamed, closer to raw than cooked. Edamame was good (hard to not make that peoperly).

My friend had the bento box w/chicken teriyaki. Salad dressing comes in 1oz to go containers, despite us dining in restaurant.

“We sat outside ìn the patio area. Our server was friendly and patient giving us time to chat and browse the menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal, drinks and my water glass was kept full as our server kept an eye on us always checking to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend the Twisted Sage Cafe.“

“I’ve been coming here for years. I figured it’s time to rate a restaurant that I find truly truly exemplary.

I love it. Period. It’s yummy. The service is great. It gets soooo busy during lunch. The wait is always worth it.“

“Easily my favorite diner in the San Dimas area. It’s a traditional American diner right in the heart of downtown San Dimas on what looks like good old-fashioned Main Street America. Parking in this area is extremely easy, there is a parking lot in the rear, but we were able to find a free space right out front. Inside is also very large with many different seating areas and seating options. Our waitress was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out fast and at a fair price.

The menu is really large and filled with all sorts of great American diner classics. I had heard so much about their Chicken Fried Steak and overheard many other diners ordering it before me so that’s what I chose for my breakfast and I was extremely satisfied with it. It was a large cut of meat and it had great flavor. The eggs were also cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. I got a biscuit on the side, which was pretty small, but the flavor was really nice, I just wish it was larger in size.

Overall I would suggest to any diner fan in the area.“

“Their service was excellent. it was quick service, with hot pizza and cold crisp salad. The ranch tasted homemade. The pizza was not greasy like most pizzas. The crust was lite and fluffy. It had a crisp cheesy flavor. The dough was perfect. The look of the pizza is appealing. Overall a 5 star rating.“

“We left raging waters and wanted sushi. This place was close by and there was no wait for a party of 7 on a Saturday. They seem to do a lot of to go orders and delivery. The food was very good and the service was on point. Highly recommend.“

“Great small sandwich shop. Been coming here for a while. Have not tried the burgers, plates, or bowls. Fairly simple lunch shop where you can get something decent to eat. Not good for large groups, but if you have a work meeting you want to get food for, imagine that what they prepare would be enjoyed. Staff was fine. Parking, counter, seating and entrance accessible, plenty of parking, not hard to get to or leave.“

“I have been going to this place for over 20 years and it has always been pretty good. But I went this morning for a breakfast burrito and was very surprised. They have their own homemade red salsa. I have to say it was really good. I think I will go back to buy some of their salsa. Their breakfast burritos are filled with bacon, egg, and potato at a good price“

“I've been here a few times. The tangerine chicken is good. The broccoli beef also good. The teriyaki which is thr reason I usually go to Chinese food spots is very salty. That is very disappointing. Hopefully they can taste thier food and adjust the salt.“

“I have been coming here for several years. The owner is nice lady who did all her own cooking and the food was super and authentic. Now she has taken the food to new level. Amazing menu with a fantastic chef/owner. She also has hired a superb waiter named Lucky. Fantastic service and he is always trying to be helpful and double checks each order to make sure it is what you ordered. I took my guest and we had dine in and take out for my daughter.
