“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “This is a hidden gem for delicious, affordable, generously sized bento boxes and plates. They take pride in their presentation and they don’t have to do this, but they also included a lot of little extra items that compliment your meal. Like many have said, there’s a little bit of a wait but our teriyaki chicken was made fresh to order and worth it. BTW, this California Roll Plate with Teriyaki Chicken has another layer of rolls underneath, so 10 rolls total. With rising prices, it’s so nice to find a place that serves a great meal with super nice staff for under $11.“

“You really can't make a bad choice with any dish you select here. We tried the House Special, and the spring rolls are absolutely essential. My son is a big fan of the Ban Mi with grilled pork, and we also enjoyed the charbroiled pork vermicelli with egg rolls. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back for more. Plus, the best part is that they offer a discount when you pay in cash!“

“If you like breakfast burritos. This is the place for you. Go there and get their All Meat Huge Breakfast Burrito. It is fantastic. You won't regret it. They also have really good fried zucchini. “This restaurant food reminds me of one of those family Sundays at Grandma's house. The flavor in food is amazing and very good quality. The place sends you back in time. They still do those old-school shakes (they are amazing, btw), but the outmost here is just very nice and clean. I truly recommend this place. It's a blast from the past.“

“We left raging waters and wanted sushi. This place was close by and there was no wait for a party of 7 on a Saturday. They seem to do a lot of to go orders and delivery. The food was very good and the service was on point. Highly recommend.“

“Great small sandwich shop. Been coming here for a while. Have not tried the burgers, plates, or bowls. Fairly simple lunch shop where you can get something decent to eat. Not good for large groups, but if you have a work meeting you want to get food for, imagine that what they prepare would be enjoyed. Staff was fine. Parking, counter, seating and entrance accessible, plenty of parking, not hard to get to or leave.“

From the moment we walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming. Aurora at the bar was truly exceptional!! Her service was top-tier, fabulous, friendly, and professional. She made us feel right at home and elevated our entire experience. The rest of the staff were equally wonderful, attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they do.

“This is the 2nd Location so the Best Location is in Chino.. We moved to SG so San Dimas is closer but it was a bit of a disappointment.. The wontons were small, burnt nd had almost no filling.. Chino's are big, hot soft nd crunchy at the same time.. The portions given are good but Chino's gives you leftovers lol.. The Orange Chicken is always a Must!! Luv this restaurant..

Vegetarian options: Mix Vegetables, Fried or White Rice not sure what else..

Parking: It's a large shopping center lot..

“I have been coming here for several years. The owner is nice lady who did all her own cooking and the food was super and authentic. Now she has taken the food to new level. Amazing menu with a fantastic chef/owner. She also has hired a superb waiter named Lucky. Fantastic service and he is always trying to be helpful and double checks each order to make sure it is what you ordered. I took my guest and we had dine in and take out for my daughter. I have been going to this Chinese fast food place for almost 20 years. Even though they keep the same menu and cook the same food, but I have not seen the quality goes down, or the price going up too much. Especially in this inflation everywhere Era, I have seen many restaurants raise the price, or just give you half amount of food, this restaurant is really doing an honest business. Therefore, I think that it is a very good place for you to eat something good and fast.“

“I was going to order food for multiple people and was waiting to see what everyone wanted. There was 2 young ladies working behind the counter. 1 was busy and the other one rudly asks if I'm ready to order I state I need a minute and she turns around and walks away. There were other guest she could have helped. I really thought her attitude sucked. I ended up leaving with out ordering food. I come here weekly for lunch and always get great service during the lunch hour. I guess Thursday nights are not good to come here.“

I believe they also have a bunch of programs and promotions within the app that guys who got two tacos free and as you spend more in the app, you collect reward points for more free food. So it's not a bad deal. If you know about Del Taco then you probably grew up in Southern California and probably not having a home in the hills. This food is for you WM shoppers. It's funny cuz you can even go on the Del Taco website and purchase a group of hot sauce and then probably like a t-shirt in your favorite hat and some tacos thing you put on your desk and it looks funny.“
