“Great corner spot for easy access to donuts. Great variety, and nice staff members explaining the flavors. The display case was cute and organized neatly with name tents. Came here after an ebike tour and ordered thir famous Apple Fritter donut. Great flavor! Lovely day.

“One of my favorite lunch spots in San Francisco. The Cambodian sandwiches are great. A lot like bahn mi but with their own flavor and character. I highly recommend the tofu sandwich (might not be shown anywhere on the menu but they got). Everyone here is so nice and the prices are reasonable for the size and quality of the sandwiches!“

“Honestly one of the better donuts I’ve had in a minute. Especially fresh and out the grease, super tasty. They are a little bit pricey, but open late and the service is good.
Would not recommend the chocolate croissant though, wasn’t a big fan. Just stick to the glazed.“

“Donuts, cookies, french bread and coffee. Its a bit small but the food is good and cheap.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love it
Wheelchair accessibility: There's no steps but entrance is narrow so a wheelchair will be tight but there's seating in the back“

“Simple no frills donut shop. Quality ingredients and a simple selection make this place stand the test of time. Recently grabbed a fritter, cruller, some donut holes and a few strawberry frosted for the kids. Everyone enjoyed them throughly.“

“Bob’s Donuts is as classic as it gets — no frills, no gimmicks, just really good, old-school donuts done right. The glazed and chocolate are spot-on, perfectly fresh with that just-right chew that keeps you coming back. It’s the kind of place that feels timeless — simple, reliable, and delicious — and a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a true neighborhood bakery vibe. Sometimes the basics really are the best.“

“We had the apple cinnamon vegan donut with the mint lavender oatmilk latte and it was FABULOUS. Such a soft and airy dough, with little pieces of crunchy apple inside. I’m glad we found this place on our last day, for I would have eaten way more donuts than I should otherwise!“

“Apple fritter size is huge and generous. It is nice.
I also bought matcha green tea latte, there is no “no sugar” option, but it is not too sweet, still taste nice to my liking :)
Price is affordable in SF“

“They tried to overcharge me for chicken wings and I had to tell them their menu price says something different. Other than that the wings were ok, prepared fairly quickly and taste pretty good. The quality is not the best but they were crispy and well sauced.“

“the local Starbucks had some sort of a plumbing issue and was closed in the middle of the day, so i went to this place to get a cup of joe. And you know what? The coffee they brew is BETTER than Starbucks. I kept going back. It's reasonably priced and the pastries are not bad either--i think i got change from $5 and got a medium coffee and an apple turnover. And the service is great too, so give this place a try!“

“This place is AWESOME! Being vegan, I asked what was available. I was told the plain cake donut, the sugar donut and the crumb donut were all vegan! I grabbed a crumb and sugar and they blew me away. Absolutely wonderful. My partner, who is not vegan, got an egg and cheese sandwich that was HUGE and delicious! We also shared a lemonade that was the perfect balance of sweet and sour. I can not recommend this place enough. If not for the food, then for the excellent service. Definitely needs to be a stop when visiting San Fran:)“

“This place was amazing!!! I was sad that we didn't discover this place until our last day in San Fran, or I would have been a daily visitor. The lady made me the BEST chai latte with espresso, so perfectly balanced and foam on top was perfect. I regret not getting a bigger cup. It's a simple place with a few spots to sit, we picked up and walked back to our hotel. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty, donuts soft & sweet, our teen loved the bagels. Definitely on the list for next time we came back to San Fran.“
“Very friendly couple at the counter. Always get a box of a dozen donuts here from time to time. They make them really good here, though I recommend getting them before 8am because the donut options get slimmer as the morning goes on. Browsing their menu, they have quite a variety of breakfast and lunch items that look good.“

“Best. Coffee. Ever. Always fresh because it's always sold so fast. 24/7 great donuts and breakfast sandwiches, a bit pricey but worth it for the fact I've never in ten years of being a patron, never stale, never day old, best in town.“

“Wanted a sweet treat and this adorable place caught our eye. I really only wanted the matcha but their 3 for $11 was tempting so ended up getting three donuts.
Tried the matcha one as I left the shop and it was yummy. I did notice it seems more oily than other mochi donut places and could’ve done without the extra oil. The napkin I was holding was quite soaked by the time I had finished it.
Flavours were great, soft and chewy on the inside, I think it would deserve a 5 star if they could tone down the oil a bit.“

“We stopped here for breakfast and OMG these donuts are incredible. Good variety, we liked both their old fashioned donuts as well as their novelty ones (the campfire one was my favorite, with a dark chocolate glaze with a giant marshmallow on top). Their coffee is also very good. Overall, great stop for breakfast or a mid day snack“

“Needed to pick up a quick dessert after enjoying the most amazing pizza a few doors down at Outta Sight. Gateway drew us in with their stacks of pink donut boxes--an immediate sign that this is a legit donut place. Our go-tos: blueberry and crunch which were immediately recognizable in the glass case. The lady behind register was very friendly and before we could assume it was cash only, she brought the POS out for us to tap and go. Gotta love it when a humble mom & pop keeps up w/tech. One excited bite out of each donut and we knew that Gateway would be our fav shop in the city. These donuts are AMAZING. They're fresh but more interestingly, they're sweet without being sickening (think opposite spectrum of a Krispy Kreme). I'm sure there's some kind of sorcery involved behind the recipe, but whatever they're doing is incredible. Even the small detail like the blueberry colored dough inside the donut is testament to their special touch. By the way, 2 donuts only cost us $3.75! What a deal.“

“Very good food and donuts. I have not complained. I seldom ever walk the Marina front but this coffee is phenomenal. Dont skip it up. S/O to Alexa and the other Barista for their exemplary and selfless work.
I'm not sure how long it will be here, it will probably be another 5-10 years I think before it gets relocated, so don't pass it up.“
“A gem in my neighborhood that I have ignored is the small business and Cantonese bakery “Donut Time,” which sells Vietnamese sandwiches, Hong Kong Milk Tea, pineapple buns (bo1 lo1 bao6), tarts (dan1 tat6), and different Cantonese pastries.
The clerk was generous, and gracious. I ordered a Hong Kong milk tea, drank about a third of it, and politely asked if I could give her 75 cents to fill my cup with black coffee, but she let me do it for free.
The items are cheap, and if you are time-strapped and need to get to work at 7 AM, this is an excellent spot for my neighbors here on Noriega Street.“

“Walked in by chance. We were touring San Francisco and wanted to get something portable, so donuts and smoothie sounded good. Once inside we saw the two ladies making amazing ham/cheese croissant sandwich and we had to try. Delicious!! Hot and toasty from the oven, flaky croissant. So good. We also saw huge chicken burritos being made… will have one of those next time! The mango smoothie was a cool blast of flavor. Tasted like summer. We also got a glazed donut (why not?! ?) and an apple fritter. Both were fresh and delicious.Accessible. A few small tables. Street parking.“

“I must tell you, this is the best donut I have ever tasted. I had the apple fritter donuts and my husband had the caramel donuts. Wow wow wow, the staff were nice, service was good and the donuts were amazing. All the staff, especially the male staff were always so happy and cheerful. I wish we have a happy donuts in England. When next we are in San Francisco, we will definitely return to get more donuts.“

“A nice restaurant in SF that you can’t tell from the outside. It happens to be near our hotel and the price was great. Croissant was $3 and it was quite good. They have a lot Asian dishes and also some American food too. Asian dishes are best in my opinion although not very authentic and some are quite oily, but delicious and affordable compared to nearby options.“

“Great place for people wanting gluten free food. Everything was delicious! Best gluten free sandwich I have had ever I think! Really fresh and tasty. The cinnamon scroll was also super good! So soft, you would question it being gluten free if you didn’t know it was!“

“I didn’t know amazing places like Le Croissant Cafe still existed in big American cities. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted by the warm welcome of the cashier. This is the type of small place where the cashier remembers the orders of her regulars. I love the simple hole in the wall appearance. They had this delicious vegetarian Bhan mi (tofu&veggie ham) that was just phenomenal. If you’re looking for a refreshing old school experience check this place out.“

“One of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. I got the #2 with American cheese and a jalapeño bagel. I’m so impressed by how inexpensive the food is and how good it is! The owner is super sweet and I feel at home here. Thanks yall! If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out! Check out Glaze Donuts ☺️“
“Love this place. It's been here since I was a kid. The owner is such a sweet lady and the rest of the staff are too. They always greet you with such kindness when you walk in. The food there is hella good. I love the special chicken and rice plate they have. They also serve breakfast and lunch and donuts :) plus it's right in front of a bus stop and opens at 5:30am“
“The spicy chicken wasn't as spicy as I would have liked - even with the additional hot sauce they provided - but then again, that might just be my high tolerance. The chicken itself was juicy and scrumptious and the garlic noodles had a great consistency to them. I didn't try the donuts, but the apple fritters were a great size and I definitely want to try one the next time I'm in the area. Employees were friendly and inviting, which is key for me as a return customer. And the prices are wonderful - currently 8 dollars for three items! While the selection isn't as wide as other Chinese joints (especially in Chinatown), it's great if you're craving Chinese food and want some some quick and cheap takeout.“

“Perfect Sacher torte - just like in Vienna or Germany. Very refined, layered with jam, chocolate, not too sweet. I have lived in Germany and Austria - this is a proper cake, refined and elegant. No trip to Europe is needed. This would be the highlight for any birthday ! Love, love, love . Order ahead online and treat yourself or a Bestie“

“An authentic SF breakfast spot run by a hard-working couple. Decent breakfast options and an impressive selection of hot sauces! We were also given some lovely free donut balls with our breakfast and coffees. We would be happy to come back again. The coffees were good, too - and they had oat milk, which I was not expecting from a small place like that.“

“Opens early enough to stop in before work to get a little something. Basic breakfast and donuts so nothing exciting. I will give 5 stars to the woman behind the counter. She is friendly and kind. Great attitude for the small in & out environment.“
“Standing dine-in only. Great for coffee, doughnuts and lunch plates (fried foods, burgers and some Asian/island style food). It’s got regular staff and customers. They’re pretty consistent on quality and will throw in extras some time for regular, tipping customers. I enjoyed getting their burger and fries for lunch. Cheap even with the tip, and fairly quick. Good plate-lunch vibes.FYI, sometimes their number in Google maps is wrong/just doesn’t work even if they’re open and taking orders.“

“Very visually pleasing! I bought two to-go and recommend eating them as soon as possible since they don't travel or store well. Best fresh and eating from a napkin while wandering around Japantown. I got a choco and strawberry (whatever had pink frosting?) one, I didn't see a fruity pebble topping one but I was there towards the closing end of their shop hours.“
