“Love the bowls at Boochmania. Had the Bulgur Bowl with Tofu and it was really healthy, fresh and tasty. This is some nutritious food, the fermented blueberry sauce is great. Tasty stuff. If you order a coffee drink and it comes with a couple biscuits / cookies, be sure to ask for the vegan varietal (one that comes with coffees is not vegan). Cute and small interior. Lots of kombuchas on tap and many other vegan items (hummus, small bites, etc). Great spot although limited hours.“

“We came in on a Friday afternoon looking for some quality fare, and were taken care of by Jasmin herself and her coworker at the time. We had the cheeseburger and double burger, and all of the sides (tater tots, fries, onion rings). Not only was all the food freshly cooked in front of us, everything was perfectly crispy, and packed with flavor.

And Jasmin! I'm going to echo all the comments made by others and just say she is the sweetest host. She's about as Korean ajumma as you can get, in terms of hospitality and making sure you're fed. She's ready to make your day the best way she can, and with a smile on her face.

I hope she continues to be a staple of the neighborhood for the next 20 years and beyond!

“Ok.. I just hit the jackpot with this Cafe'. I have been craving a hot pastrami sandwich for the longest time thinking the only place to satisfy my craving will be in New York until I gave Sweet Joanna’s a try. I was lucky to be there when one of the owners, Mr. Zaro, took my order and confidently assured me that their sandwiches are the best. He was not lying. I got the best looking layered sandwich of pastrami, cheese, pastrami, avocado, pastrami lettuce and tomatoes on a warm Dutch crunch. I had to take a photo of this master piece to post here. I was in heaven when I took the first bite. The bread, the cheese and pastrami were heated first, explained Mr. Zaro, then the other fixings were added. That way you get an amazing crunchy bread with warm pastrami, melted cheese and the fresh veggies. This place will be my first stop when I am in San Francisco. It is clean with friendly staff and a great service.“

“This place is surely one of the most attractive place in the neighborhood. Every time I go there I am truly glad. They manage their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.“

“One of the best Mexican meals I’ve had in SF—100% better than Chipotle, with all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the noodle bowl and quinoa bowl. They’re only open from 11 AM to 2 PM, and I just wish they were open longer and on more days. A true hidden gem!“

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal.
