“This place has very good Greek food for San Francisco. The ambience was nice and the servers were very attentive. The pita bread, saghanaki, and broiled octopus were excellent. The avgolemono and melitzanosalata were also good. The vegetarian moussaka entrée was quite good. The walnut baklavaki and vanilla bean ice cream were very tasty. Thanks!“

“I am always a little cautious around so-called "Greek" restaurants, as some of them are not very Greek. Souvla does a great job of capturing Greek cuisine with a California twist. Our meals came out quickly and were delicious! I also appreciated the small, outside dining area in the back.“

“We had an exceptional lunch experience at this absolute gem of a restaurant. From the zucchini cakes to the hummus to the grilled octopus to the dolmathes to the Souvlaki sandwiches, everything we ordered was downright delicious! Flavors were distinctive and so flavorful. Although we sampled multiple dishes, they were all prepared in a way that it felt like a light meal. The server was friendly, timely, and helpful. The manager was attentive and checked in on us as well. The atmosphere is cozy and we were comfortable. I highly recommend. Yes. GOOOO!!“

It's really tough for them because the neighborhood has changed so much since COVID and I'm sure it's a struggle because of the significantly reduced foot traffic, but they're always super friendly and service is fast. “Counter service alleyway style eatery with really nice outdoor backyard seating too. Food is creative, fresh and satisfying.
Proportions are good and reasonably priced for SF. Service was very good bringing food to table with number sign system. It's worth a visit.“

Even though not too busy on a friday midday the food was fresh and more than filled me up for $15.

Had a minor issue that was resolved quickly and guys were super nice.

Good:
- The beef and lamb gyro was great indeed - perfect portion size, had a ton of stuff inside it and the texture was crunchy and savory
- I liked how quick the service was, and it was easy to find seating inside

Bad:
- The music was super loud here and it was more casual of a place

“I ordered the Salmon plater it was fresh, the rice was so good and instead of hummus I ordered salad which was also great, and the thin bread omg it was amazing everything was delicious. The price it's right loved it!! I just started working around the area so I had a great experience it clean and smelled clean.“

“EXACTLY what I was looking for for breakfast! Feta, spinach, and mushroom omelet, with a fresh made blueberry scone. All were delicious! Husband had a chicken apple sausage breakfast pita with a piece of baklava, and it was all fantastic too. Service was great. Would absolutely eat here again!“

“Cheap, simple and filling. Way cheaper than oasis grill. A lamb/beef shawarma is standard and the meat tastes good, priced about 12 bucks. (oasis is around 21 bucks) Good serving size too. The lamb/beef is halal thankfully, heads up the chicken is not halal. Overall I like this since it's convenient, quick, saving. Staff is extremely friendly. Go to in the neighborhood. Will be visiting more often.“

“Charming mom and Pop place with good prices. We couldn’t believe how big the wraps were and they were absolutely delicious. Like I was in SHOCK! First wrap I really liked since moving to SF.
We got the deluxe wraps, chicken and beef. Both were great. You can tell they take the time to do things right and they even make sure to grill the outside of the wraps. And we loved the french fries and eggplant inside of it! What a fun touch.“

“Food was delicious. Vibe was laid back. Acoustics (ability to hear my companion) were good, although the restaurant wasn't completely full at the time. I ordered the shaksuka, which tasted great, but I didn't feel full afterwards. My friend ordered a brunch plate with eggs, lamb, salad, and potatoes and it was quite ample and delicious. I think I'll get that the next time I go there. This was my first time to this venue, and I definitely want to go back.“

“I can't say anything about the inside of the restaurant since I had Uber eats deliver from 8mile. It was my first time having detroit style pizza. So my expectations were super high. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. I went with the classic pepperoni and had them add extra garlic. It was delicious next time I'm in San Francisco I will have to stop by.“
