“This Taiyaki + Ice Cream place is at the level of other giants such as SomiSomi. The soft serve has a perfect texture (I tried the Pure Milk flavor with a Taiyaki on top, the Taiyaki being filled with Nutella), the service is quick and efficient, and the store was crowded when my two friends and I went on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is great too, there are so many pictures showing what the options are like, and there are clearly-illustrated menus spread throughout the restaurant. The toppings are available for the customers to grab and add to their ice cream as they wish, and everything, from the Oreo crumbs to the Banana chips are great. You can truly feel that every single item in this store is, indeed, made With Love.“

“I am not sure why 626 Ice Cream has such bad reviews.
I had heard lots about this place, but due to them mostly being open on weekday nights, didn't have a chance to try them until yesterday afternoon.
I enjoyed the calming ambiance. Everything seemed randomly arranged, however it went well with the area.
The ice cream served here is very delicious and creamy, so if you like that type of style, you're better off coming here. I got the condensed milk and black sesame flavors with sprinkles, Gummy bears and mochi. Their mochi bin was nearly empty, and I discovered why when I ate my dessert. I mean, the other two toppings were also tasty and I'm glad I didn't do just mochi, but mochi had to be the best out of the three toppings I had.
Would come back if I were in the area!“

“We come here weekly for ice cream and coffee on weekends. Ice cream is delicious! Very flavorful but not overly sweet. My favorite flavor is the Stracciatella or cookie butter, but they are all good. Seasonal eggnog ice cream is our favorite. Coffee is absolute perfection. Cortado and Latte are especially good. Handcrafted drinks, made with love. The owner is super nice, always takes time to talk to my son and I. This place is a gem, and it is run by genuinely kind and good people. The outdoor seating is also a prefect way to relax with your yummy ice cream or perfectly frothed coffee.“

“The bolo bao ice cream sandwich was the bomb! I had it with ube ice cream. The garlic fries - lots of fresh garlic with a side of bomb lemon aoili and house sauce! The best! Passionfruit green tea was perfect for the hot weather! So cute inside too! It's a smaller space and a one man show. Everything is made fresh so please be patient - it's worth the wait! “Major props to Los Alpes Ice Cream. I get nostalgic every time I come here. I have been visiting since I was a kid and the memories I have from this place are all great. The quality is just as good today as it was back then. I literally met my best friend here over 30 years ago and the interior still looks exactly the same.
I love coming here every chance time permits when I am visiting Los Angeles. It is one of those places that brings me right back and it never disappoints.
The flavor selection is amazing. Even though I usually keep it simple with cookies and cream, I have a hard time resisting the mamey and nuez every single time. Their ice creams are packed with ingredients. Cookies and cream is loaded with actual cookies and the nuez has that perfect nutty richness in every bite.
The staff and owner are always attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant. This place is a true Los Angeles institution. It still surprises me how many people do not know about this gem. If you have never been, do yourself a favor and check it out. You will see why it has been around for decades.“

“If I'm feeling I'll drop by for a cone and that it. Order outside through the window. They have seats but outside on the side. Is a regular ice cream shop they do offer other food items but haven't tried that yet. Fairly priced, although the ice cream is not fully dairy it seems. Because it melts really quickly and it tastes more water based than anything. Aside from that, the taste is there.
Parking: They do have parking in the back. There's also plenty on the street not metered.“

“Went here on a whim on a Saturday evening after going to Gold Line. There was a line but it moved pretty quick. Enough time to look at the vast ice cream menu.
I sampled a Texas Sheet Cake and got a Miso Butterscotch Brownie. Both were delicious!
Overall, highly recommend coming here. Delicious ice cream set in a historical building. Service was nice too.“

“My boyfriend got throat surgery and I wanted to get him a healthy juice I called this place and I really nice man answered and was super accommodating and recommended a drink which by the way was ready by the time I drove there to pick it up .
