The ambiance is like Thailand town at night - dark with warm lighting. Oldies but goody with full bar that’s pretty much like Chiang Mai’s bars.

The food never disappoints. I brought people here and the food was crowd pleaser. The service is super efficient.

The location is just perfect for a meeting point from South OC and North OC. It is right off the highways I5/405 and there are many places to visit around the area - antique shopping, the missions, cinema, music festival by the beach, Dana Point harbor …“

Housekeeping use metal plate as a door stopper making banging noises early in the morning which is also unacceptable. the beds are too soft which gave me a backache the next day. trying to have a conversation with some friends at the bar in the afternoon was impossible as the muSICK was too loud and the live singer was even louder.. room service brought no utensils! some friends from Asia liked the historic building. but then old Spanish architecture is abundant in California. it just reminded me this was all part of Mexico. I would NOT recommend this dump to anyone. Marriott, you guys need a new manager at this place please. I have lost all respect for the autograph collection. nice concept but totally mismanaged“

It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! My gran won't stop asking when we can go back. Thank you South of Nicks for lovely meal, and Thank you Rebecca, for helping a family member feel normal after tragedy. You are in our prayers“

“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. “Oh goodness. Why did it take us over a year to find out about this place??

First: you can either park along el Camino or parking is along Avenida De La Estrella located right above restaurant. There is a stairwell that brings you right down to it.

Be sure to go on Tuesday… taco Tuesday… where they have a phenomenal/affordable menu! Honestly the best shrimp taco I have ever had. I’m just sorry I filled up on chips.

They are only opened for lunch on the weekend.

The best part… PET FRIENDLY PATIO!!!!

“A wonderful evening at Todos Santos with my wife. We were greeted by Daniel the owner and chef extraordinare who took us to a very nice table in the outside patio. We started off with drinks which were made by one of our favorite bartenders Jaime! The other bartender of choice is Francisco who had the day off. Kenya was our waiter and was superb, very personable and professional. We each ordered the appetizer salad which were so good. We spoke with Daniel about the fresh fish and decided on the Sea Bass for my wife and I ordered the Salmon and lobster plate. These two dishes were amazing upon presentation and even tastier than they looked lol. I must say since we began dining at Todos Santos from when Daniel took over this place has blossomed this restaurant into the best Mexican cuisine in Orange County. With multiple awards to his credit Daniel has new menu items that he creates regularly and now opens after hours on Tuesdays and Fridays with a DJ and dance floor. On Saturday and Sunday the restaurant serves breakfast from 10 am to 2 pm and the dishes are delicious. Make a reservation and ask for Daniel. Let him know George sent you. “Dinner available only on weekdays from 4pm to 6pm was a great deal. The service, atmosphere is perfect. Unfortunately, the food was all average and nothing particularly delicious. The tables are closely spaced, so if the table in the back was in use, it was difficult to sit because it was so narrow that you couldn't pull a chair. I think it would be nice to have a little more space. There was a heater outside at night so it was warm, but it was still hot even with short sleeves.“

“Brunch with my bestie. We were sat outside with a view of the private beach. We watched the occasional surfer and serene waves while sipping prosecco and enjoying each other's company. The staff is lovely. The seating is comfortable. The food is delightful, and we enjoyed very nice surprises, such as precisely how big and delicious the cinnamon roll is. I've never in my life been excited about a cinnamon roll. This one changes everything. It's perfectly seasoned, perfectly browned outside and fluffy inside, and perfectly gooey - not at all runny. The seafood salad and eggs benny were just as good. I never thought about using focaccia for eggs Benedict, but here we are and it ruined us for any other configuration for this dish. Every single interaction was sincerely positive, and I can't say enough about how each encounter with a team member, even brief, remains on my mind. An unforgettable experience. Will return and will recommend.

Cocktails were fantastic and handcrafted with care. I had the ‘Penicillin’- not too sweet or overpowering with subtle notes of ginger and lemon. We paired it with the smash burger for $24. The goat cheese on the burger took it to the next level of decadent and savory. We also enjoyed the coconut shrimp with green curry sauce which was an ample portion and cooked well.
