“Been going to Starfish since they opened. All the items on the menu are excellent. My favorites are the wet Ribs, Pho, Korean Tacos and the spicy ahi tuna roll. You cant go wrong with the veggie curry but add chicken if you want protein. Check out their happy hour too called Opium Hour at the bar. A good selection of happy hour bites, beer and wine.“
“This has become our local go-to Thai restaurant and we love recommending it to friends. They are always so welcoming to our family, great place to bring kids. We've never gone with more than 5 people, but they have a couple spots where I think you could do a larger group.Everything we've had has been good. Our go-tos are the beef pad see ew and the roasted duck curry.“
“We had the grilled pork jowl salad and the beef shanks panaeng stew. The food tasted great, the flavor was intense. We enjoyed both entrees very much. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Two things we didn't like though: 1) the food came out very slowly. I didn't time it, but it was long enough for us to keep wondering if they've forgotten us. But we looked around and noticed that other patrons didn't have their food either. Then after my wife's entrée came out, we still had to wait for some time for my entrée to come out. If my wife had started eating right when her entree came out, she would've finished by the time my entree came out. 2) No public restroom.“
“The best Thai food I've ever had! Everything I order is delicious. I love the Tom Gai soup, duck curry, and prawns. Also, the owner and staff are so much fun. I never sing karaoke, but they were celebrating a birthday and I tried it... Such a blast! Must visit restaurant in Mission Viejo for great food and atmosphere.“
“As if the restaurant name isn't enough to make you smile, the menu and the warm welcome will lighten your heart. Excellent service. Start with the appethaizers and move to the Have Wings will Travel section. All four dishes were delicious with #40 my favorite - the Road Runner / Kai Himapan with Spicy chicken cooked with cashew nut and roasted chili. I will definitely return with the same friends and a few more. Nice vegetarian options.“
“My husband and i order thai food from Thai Palace almost every week. Always use their delivery service. Their delivery person is the nicest man. I absolutely recommend Thai Palace in san clemente. The food is really good and the deliveryman is exceptional.“
“I've been going here for 13 yearsThe quality of food and service has never taken a dip in that time.As long as they are around they will always be a staple in my culinary Rolodex -Kid-friendliness: The staff all love my two boys - They will always bring a little something for them out if They get restless while waiting for the food ?“
“I popped in here on impulse for lunch. I grabbed a menu and found a booth. The server brought me ice water right away and greeted me with a friendly smile. The place is clean and has plenty of light from the front windows.I ordered the 8 piece appetizer and yellow curry with tofu. The server immediately brought me a nice bowl of the Thai interpretation of chicken noodle soup. Chicken broth, chicken, bean sprouts, and wide rice noodles garnished with green onions. I was hungry so I gobbled it up. It's exactly the kind of soup I'd want if I had a cold.My appetizers came out quickly. The server thoughtfully brought me some hot sauce. The plate included 2 chicken satay skewers, two vegetable egg rolls, two potato dumplings, and two shrimp dumplings. All of the appetizers were good, but I especially liked the potato dumplings dipped in a bit of hot sauce. The yellow curry with steamed rice was good. Not especially spicy. I enjoy it because it's the Thai version of potatoes and gravy. For me, it's comfort food. It was nothing incredible, but it hit the spot.I overheard a couple of the other diners chatting. One diner asked the other what he recommended. He said he particularly liked the cashew chicken and was diving into his meal with gusto. The lunch portion of curry and appetizer plate was about $28 and I had plenty to take home for lunch tomorrow.RECOMMEND“
“The papaya salad was amazing. Yummmm! I got spice level 5 and it transported me back to Thailand. Also got yellow curry which was delicate and comforting. Thai basil fried rice was unique in flavor in the best of ways. I would eat here often if I lived here.“
“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in RSM. The service is always great. The menu has a huge selection of appetizers, lunch specials, dinner plates, and desserts. I get the Thai tea on every visit. The food never dissapoints. Everything tastes fresh and has lots of spice and flavor. We are allowed to sit anywhere in the restaurant. The booths are the best. Music is entertaining to listen to while eating our meals.“
“Really good spot! Ordered pad Thai and a tofu dish which tasted great. Yes they still serve on paper plates but the owner said they continued that practice from Covid times but that doesn’t bother me at all. Easier clean up for them I’m sure. It’s nice to support a local place where you can tell the owner is doing their best in harder times! Would come here again.“
“What can I say... one of the best Thai places there is in South County. The place is very inviting and, the service is great, and the food is outstanding. We normally order the Green or Red Curry, or sometime Panang. You can't go wrong ordering the traditional Pad Thai. I am very picky when it comes to Thai Iced Tea, and theirs is on-point. We always comes back whenever we are craving Thai.“
“Pat and her sister do an amazing job running Siamese Express. The food is delicious and the prices are more than fair. My favorite Thai restuarant between Laguna Niguel & Aliso Viejo.Parking: Plenty of free parking close to the restaurant.“
“I have dined in and taken out many times. My husband and I have drastically different taste profiles, but we both love Spice Thai. I get the chicken fried chicken and egg rolls and my husband gets the Thai basil and green curry. We have tried numerous other places and always come back “
“I am never disappointed here! The vegetables are so fresh and and the portions and prices are very reasonable. I usually order the chicken curry or the Thai basil chicken and I can't get away from these dishes. They are so flavorful and so bountiful have plenty for the next day. The service is quick and friendly, and the place is charming. It's small, but definitely feel like you're in somebody's home.“
“Food is good. Order was wrong but they corrected without a problem because it was their mistake. Thanks so much for being open on Christmas day/night. It was super busy with to-go orders and also for dine in but that’s okay. This restaurant is nice and they did their very best.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options and pescatarian options available.Parking: No issues with parking“
“I can't speak for the rest of the food but I really enjoyed the Tom Kha Soup and with Shrimp. The broth was lemony and full of flavor. There was a good amount of shrimp in the soup. I've done carry out both times I've been there and the service was friendly.“
“Very good option for Thai food, the taste of the food is very good, the presentation and freshness of the ingredients. They also take care of the atmosphere, music and impeccable treatment of the waitresses, who are very friendly and make sure that nothing is missing. 100% recommended.“
“Thai Paradise is the best Thai restaurant in South OC, I should know as I lived in Thailand for 4 years. The food is cooked by Thai people, can't say that for other Thai restaurants in the area. When you come you feel the Thai ways atmosphere, good people, the same atmosphere you would find in Thailand. I only like to come here.“
“This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. The Drunken Noodle is always our top priority, SUPER DELICIOUS!!! Because they use FRESH ingredients. Usually, I ask for less oil and they did it. The service is also wonderful!!!The Crying Tiger is yummy.......Ask for medium rare. The Thai sampler is also great !!!.....You can taste many kinds of appetizers in 1 order. The Thai ice tea in this restaurant is the best Thai tea compared to other Thai teas in other places. One more thing, the Angel Wings are super big and inexpensive. We ordered Pineapple fried rice for a friend and he said it's delicious!!!We have been a regular going to this restaurant for more than 10 years with those same orders and never get tired of the food.“
“the food here was extremely fresh and flavorful I loved the pad thai so did my children I absolutely adored the chicken curry and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that loves Thai food try the crying tiger steak combo and you won't be disappointed the vegetables were just so fresh and the dressing was irresistibly addicting!“
“Came here for a weekend late lunch with a group of 6 and it was great. We had to wait 5-10 minutes as a lunch rush died down but it wasn't too bad.Overall, the portions are quite large and the service is very very friendly and attentive. Just good people :)We ordered a bunch of things and everything seemed to taste fine but my favorite was the red curry!“
“The servers here never seam friendly. The old servers from years ago definitely were super friendly.I would say "service is not great here" but the food is definitely very good. You will probably get a better experience at the other locations because they're the food and the service will be very good.“
“I LOVE this place!! I have tried SO MANY things in their menu and have yet to find a dish it don't like. They service is always friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Its a nice place inside, not a cheap looking place like a lot of others places I have seen. Their portion sizes are super generous as well!!Favorites: Thai Bite Sampler, Lemon Chicken, Plah Goong Salad (which comes with the sampler), Pa NangAnd FOR SURE try a Thai Tea while your there. AMAZING!!“
“Free Thai Iced tea with a Yelp check-in. I ate here recently and it has been 10 years since I had eaten here. I think it had a different name back then. I ordered Crying Tiger and Chicken Satay Skewers and my work colleague had Pad See Ew. We both liked our food and the service was friendly. I will be back sooner next time! Four stars!“
“Small, quiet Thai restaurant. Food was delicious, the servers and cook were engaging, kind. Owner and servers are from Thailand and have created a pleasant experience. Prices very reasonable - we had stir fry and chicken curry dishes, $17 each.“
“Love this place! If you’re looking for authentic, not commercialized Thai food with clean, healthy ingredients (fresh veggies!) and no MSG, look no further! I ordered the Green Jungle (green curry & vegetables) substituting tofu for shrimp - this be my “go to” dish from now on. The service is very prompt and friendly and the portions are generous.“
