“Pleasant hot pot spot where you pick the ingredients that you want and the staff make a soup with it. Portions are generous — you get a lot of broth! Kitchen staff works very quickly and the wait is short. There's lots of seafood, meat and veggie options. As someone who doesn't eat any seafood, I can still pile up a whole plate for myself while the person I'm with gets a whole plate of just seafood. Everything is steamed. Even after a full meal, your stomach doesn't feel heavy.“

“Charming Chinese restaurant in Millbrae that focuses on the Sichuan cuisine. The Mapo tofu was delicious, and the cold spicy noodles were superb. Beef noodle soup was surprisingly good as well. Fast and efficient service. Interior is small, so not ideal for large parties. Parking can be challenging, as the free parking lot fills up fast and is shared with several other local businesses.“

“We were disappointed with our previous favorite Sichuan restaurant on our second visit there. We found this Michelin recommended restaurant as a replacement. We were very impressed. The quality was on par with the best restaurants in Asia, which is a rarity in the US. The beautifully photographed menu made item selection easy. The veggies even turned out better than the picture in the menu. They truly deserve all those awards on their wall. We will make it our regular chinese restaurant from now on.
My wife's干煸肥肠was the best she had ever had.“

“Been wanting to try this Sichuan restaurant off of El Camino Real in San Mateo. Tried the beef noodle soup and some stir-fried dishes, and the flavors were authentic and tasty. Only complaint is there was too much noodles in the beef noodle soup. Good place for a quiet lunch. Fast and efficient service. Might be difficult to find parking on the busy El Camino Real, so look for spots on the nearby side roads.“
