This location is black owned, the owner is amazing !!! The establishment is clean, nicely lighted, has sitting area inside, and friendly service. My Favorite is a quart of packed Strawberry with a waffle cone on the side. The strawberry has real strawberry is every bite. They have every flavor that you can possibly thing of Mango, Butter Pecan, Pistachio, Black Walnut, Coconut and much much more. The wait time was a little longer than I thought since more people came in after us. Overall, not impressed with the flavor. I would try another flavor though. “I finally was able to stop in and try this place! I was off work and craving a smoothie, I prefer supporting small business so Jamba was going to be last resort. I got there a little after 3p on Saturday, not busy, one person waiting and one came in after me. I told the guy what I like and ended up choosing the Sunshine, but he was more than willing to customize it, but I’m so glad I didn’t change it cause it’s SO good! I live a few minutes away and I was almost half way done by the time I got home, I should have got the large!! Price wise, total was $8.58, with a small tip, definitely worth it, everything was so fresh and didn’t taste processed like the corporate spots. Also, they use Mitchell’s Ice cream now I know for next time! Great job and I can’t wait to stop in again and try another smoothie“

“There isn't a bad item you could order at Curbside. The fresh waffle cones really take me for a spin, they alone can be eaten and loved without anything extra! But fortunate for us, we also get tasty, rotating soft serve flavors to fill them with. Also, the variety of vegan ice creams is excellent for my wife. The ice cream sandwiches are awesome. Just such a great little walk up ice cream spot, a necessity when in the neighborhood for dinner.“

“Wow, It’s been 20 years, since I stepped foot on to Fosters Freeze. This well respected fine dine in establishment, aged well like fine wine. Service is rapidly/ friendly. Food portions is enormous and prices are very reasonable. Any residents that live in West Contra Costa County towns. Come by and give this place a shot.“

“I have been going to Tay Tah cafe for years. Their Breakfast Energizer smoothie is my go-to lunch meal and my husband loves the Banh Mi sandwiches. We are so lucky to have this wonderful cafe in our neighborhood! The owner and employees are super friendly too!

“this soft serve truck is so cute and serves the best soft serve by far, with housemade chocolate sauce that hardens to a nice crunch on the ice cream. the addition of salt on it makes the perfect balance. the red truck has such a personality and the folks who work it are always so fun to chat with. and it's local! they even have a teeny tiny cone for kids and the seal is hand painted :) the line can get long, but I promise it's worth it!“

The pastas are all made with homemade, organic noodles and made-to-order sauces. The pasta dishes are so fresh and authentic! The spaghetti with meatballs, their only Americanized dish, is to die for! The pizzas also are also made with home-made dough and gluten-free options are offered. Try one with fresh prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula! The fresh panini with Italian meats and cheeses round out the lunch menu. It is possible to have a filling lunch for $7-15, which is definitely reasonably priced by Berkeley standards!
