“The lady at the counter was so nice when I was trying to decide what to get.she was knowledgeable about the dishes…. This was the best hummus I’ve had outside of Israel! The painting on the wall was so beautiful. The lamb burger was made to perfection it was so juicy and flavorful! I love middle eastern food and it’s really hard to find a place in America that has GOOD middle eastern food. This is the spot to go if you’re looking for authentic great tasting middle eastern food!“

“Was here on Christmas Eve, and the food, service, and ambience couldn’t have been better. Had clay pot dishes, both beef and tofu, assorted nigiri, Dragon roll - all wonderfully fresh, edamame, a shrimp tempura roll, and sake. We we all delighted. Thanks for adding to a beautiful Christmas Eve!“

“Have dined at Le Chalet Basque for more than 20 years. Our recent meal with lamb chops, fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes and split pea soup served with crumbled blue cheese salad couldn't have been better. Fresh ingredients, great wine and excellent service will keep us returning again and again.“

“Bopped in for a bite on a cool Monday evening hoping for cozy but the place is bit well lit and stark. Also they don't heat the place and it was cold inside, everyone in jackets. Sounds negative but that was turned around by some fantastic pasta, namely the Gamberoni alla Busara. Heads on shrimp in a garlicky tomato cream sauce provided deep layers of flavor, bravo! I almost ate the plate it came on.“

“Stayed at the new AC hotel this weekend and went to Above Fifth the rooftop bar Saturday night for drinks. Contrary to all the bad reviews, we found the experience to be a great one. We counted three of us plus maybe three or four other tables, and about 10-12 staff members, who were all friendly and attentive. We were allowed to choose our booth seating, and they promptly rolled over a heater to keep us warm. We would definitely return to this hotel and bar“
