“This is a small shop with a lot of heart and craftsmanship. The flavors and ingredients are fresh and strong. The gentleman that works the counter alone takes the time to take orders and also make the items on his own. Kamurocho has an unassuming air that feels like home. It is very simply decorated with chosen items like postage stamps and pokemon cards. Something about that is quite charming. I still need to try all their items but so far the crown jewel has been the shaved ice which is the most decadent, light, balanced dessert I have ever had. They shave the ice into snowflake light layers mixed with the shops custom creme blend and toppings. It's instantly refreshing and satisfying. The drinks have layered complex flavors. You can tell they use quality matcha and fresh fruits unlike other places that just dump in a few pumps of syrup. I really like this place and will definitely come back a third time.“

If you’re hungry, come in and eat it hot yummm! Come in and order the large pizza and you could go half-and-half, half tandoori chicken and half chicken tikka … seriously delicious!!!

“So I am always on the prowl for good breakfast joints. This is one of my new spots. I got the corn beef hash two eggs over medium sour dough toast and a cup of coffee. Meal was satisfying and to my surprise it came to just under 20 dollars with a tip. I was extremely pleased and even more happy the place is close to my house where I can pop in and get an inexpensive meal cooked right. Cornbeef was not super oily and the over medium eggs were cooked with no runny whites. Did not even need to ask for hot sauce as she brought it out with out being prompted. Service was good, place was kinda clean but not a concern for me. Good experience, and definitely a place I will visit again.....“

The sourdough breakfast sandwich is very good. The sourdough was rich in smell and taste while the thick cut bacon offered the hearty bite you want in a sandwich. The pesto chicken baguette was done right in every way. Simple and clean, yet each ingredient was seasoned individually to compliment one another as a whole. The baguette itself was crisp and rustic on the outside while freshly pillow soft on the inside. Huge selection of pastries offers something for every pallet. Will definitely be returning for the garlic croissant bites! Quality selection of teas served both hot and cold. Iced white mocha was very creamy while not overpowering the coffee flavor. This quick stop turned into a wonderful family style diner where you can sit back and enjoy your meal and put down your phone for a little while.

The refried beans really tied my machaca plate together. The little bit of spiciness and black pepper pops and it reminded me of bean and cheese burritos growing up.

“Like others says, it’s a hidden gem. It’s literally inside a hidden area of an office building. GPS sends you to the opposite side where the cafeteria is. You just have to enter the building and cross to the other side. Then you will get nice pastries and great coffee. My favorite was the everything bagel with cream cheese and pickled jalapeños. You can’t find that flavor anywhere in Pleasanton. I’m coming back to get more.“

I would have given a 5 star rating but the BB was a little on the small size and might have been better with some hash browns inside. “We were in the Walnut Creek and were craving piroshkis. We knew about Babushka Market & Deli and so we went there and ordered 6 piroshkis. The lady named Lyubov behind the counter is one of the nicest person we have ever met. She was very helpful and explained how they have something like 16 or 17 different kinds/varieties of piroshkis. We ordered 3 beef and 3 beef with jalapeno and they warmed them up for us on the spot. These are baked piroshkis, not deep friend, so they were not oily like the other kind. They were filled with a huge portion of meat with perfect seasoning with a huge beef flavor. They are literally the perfect sandwich and for a very reasonable price. We were very impressed by the quality of them and even one is enough to fully satisfy your hunger. As we were sitting at the table inside eating them, gentleman at the table next to us starting talking to us about the piroshkis. It turned out he was the owner of the Market and his name was Leo and he started it 29 years ago and runs it with his family. He told us that they buy their meat fresh and grind it on site and use all fresh and good ingredients, which explains why the piroshkis are so fantastic. We talked with Leo for a long time about the olden days, living in other countries, and our common experiences and ancestries…it was a wonderful conversation which was a perfect complement to the best piroshkis in the Bay Area in our opinion. If you haven’t tried this place we urge you to stop buy and buy one, which I think for sure after you eat it, you’ll want to buy a few more to take home. 5 Stars to this place…the best!“

The one thing that’s notable is everybody that I saw on their way out said see you later Pearl, and she replied to each one by name. That’s OG right there.

I finished up my business with Crazy Eddie Eight Ball at his speed shop, The Corner Pocket there in Wickwack plaza, and headed straight over to Mary's Café. Let me just say this...My sandwich was Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆“
